The Cranney representative arrived on time and performed an assessment of the work to be done. He indicated that he would send a proposal in a week or less... it has been nearly two months. I took time off from work to be home for the visit and called the office twice in the weeks after the visit to request the quote. I was surprised by how unprofessional this experience was and given other quality options (we have hired another contractor to perform the work) it is unlikely I will consider Cranney again.

Technician charged me $95 to tell me my water heater failed and priced replacement. That was obvious from water throughout my basement. Provided several quotes with outrageous prices. Selected another vendor to do work.

We recently asked Cranney to provide a price for a sewer injection pump. They gave us a quote that included materials, labor, and everything needed to complete the job. After Cranney canceled twice a rude installer showed up. He informed us that the price quoted was wrong and that we would need to spend an additional $900. After speaking with the general manager we negotiate a new price of $300 over the quoted price. That was the installers primary goal and he could have cared less about the impact of that additional charge at this trying time of a pandemic with limited money. It’s clear by reading all of the reviews that this company is not honest. Read all the reviews!!

The proposal that was submitted was way over my budget.

The technician came on time, looked at sump pump which was not working, went back to his van, came back and said it was major work could not be done then. I had one inch water in my basement and I was afraid if the pump didn't get replaced, eventually it would reach the boiler. I had told the office that and the they had assured me that the technician would come prepared to do the job, which is the reason I would have been ok to pay the $50 fee for him to come out. He seemed overwhelmed looking at the system. I even asked him if he had replaced a sump pump before and his response was, I have never seen this kind of system before. The system I have is a pump with battery back up, nothing complicated. He wanted me to pay the $50 for just coming out and telling me the job could not be done then? Very disappointing!!! I was able to get someone else come out later in the afternoon and replace it for me in about 1.5 hours or so.

The young man was very respectful and pleasant. He came right in and looked at the two lights and gave us an estimate. We asked about other problems we have but they will have to wait. He got the stock came back in and did the work very quickly.

National Grid registered a gas leak from my burner. Justin and Jared responded to perform a test of the lines, then met with the city inspector to get things straightened around. Justin and Jared were professional, kind, low-key, efficient, and inspired my confidence which isn't easy to come by. They were very neat and wore booties over their boots showing respect for my home... Cranney Home Services did very well by me. I called the company to thank them for assigning Justin and Jared to my home. I highly recommend them. The cost of the job included the permit fee charged by my city.

Two weeks later still did not get any estimate for this service. Called them and was told that they don't know what happened but will 'send it out soon'. Makes one wonder about their reliability...

I was a joy to hear him tell me about how honest the guys were " Well, Let's look at it and see what we can do." Well, they not only gave him what he wanted BUT cleaned up the wiring under his desk and moved the desk back in place! He had been trying for weeks but no one wanted the small job. Now he said he doesn't have to worry about kicking plugs and wires. The people from Cranney more than took care of him. Thanks again the the people from Cranney. I only spoke with Noah48 Jackson St.(who talked with me after hours). I didn't get the name of the people who came out to the house in this lousy weather But thanks again.

It went very well. Techs were very thorough and professional.

Great! The electrician took the time to find the problem which was the wire. He replaced it and now I have heat. I tried 3 HVAC places and none could determine what was wrong. Most left. Highly recommend!!! I thought I would of spent thousands to fix the problem.

Good, diagnosed odor from burner, cleaned burner

I was very happy with the services performed, and with Cranney's proactive way of reaching out to me to set a time to perform the work I paid for. They offered me additional services as well as additional service plans, but I stuck only with the services I paid for. Would definitely use again.

They were unable to perform the work as the piping was inaccessible. They were able to stop the leaking without replacing the faucet, and they were able to give me some advice regarding accessing the pipe and another plumbing problem I have. They also replaced the ceiling tiles that had been taken down and cleaned the area before leaving. I will need to have them back once I remove cabinets from the wall.

They put the new pumps in and attached them to the concrete wall. They did an excellent job and were very professional.

Sewer pipe was pumped down, and then we saw sewage was coming into my house from the street. City sent a crew within 10 minutes; they cleared blockage. Cranney then checked my line to make sure it was clear. Cranny advised me on how to clean and sanitize my cellar and also advised me to call my home owner's insurance company.

At this moment, everything is working perfectly.

A very friendly technician came to my house and, after inspecting my system, said he would get back to me in a day or two with an estimate. I waited a few days, then called twice and left voice mails and never heard back.

Had a question about the posted Angie's List Deal so I called Cranney's directly. I was told I could book the deal directly through them and they would honor the Angie's List promo. Plumber ran late, but that happens to us all at times. Communication has been fine! Nick (the plumber, was thorough and professional). My only negative is the additional $49,95 that I was charged (approximately 25% over the listed cost of the job). It was for coming to the house!! Odd, I purchase a deal for work to be done at my home, then get a surprise charge because they had to come to my home ??? I'll pay for services, but I loathe hidden costs or fees. These should be clearly stated.

They were great. Sent out a freed up technician same day who quickly and efficiently solved my issue (busted thermocoupler). Will definitely call again

It was a relatively perfunctory service. They were fine; they did it okay. They were generally satisfactory. I would use them again if I needed a sewer line looked at.

Awesome. Expensive, but done and late in the day early evening.

Excellent, couldn't have gone better.
