They are excellent all the way around. They are very professional. They work in a timely fashion. I have had them back several times and wouldn't have anyone else back besides them.

They were very helpful. They wore uniforms, and the truck was clearly identified. They arrived on time as promised. They are a total solution. I have been very pleased and would use them again.

This company was exactly what they said they were. They did not overcharge and were very professional. Everything was neat and it didn't even look as if they were here.

At the onset of the heating season our boiler stopped firing. Called Cranney at 8 in the 8 am, they had a service tech there as requested in the afternoon. They explained what they thought was wrong, and were clear that there could be other things. But, there weren't and we were back in operation in short order with no fuss.

The technician was polite and courteous from the start. Cranney gives task estimates and bills you a fixed fee, which I like. I'm not a fan of hourly billing. The tech came early, a bit before 7am to accommodate our work schedules. Scaffolding was used on the staircase. They were careful not to damage or even scratch any of our recently restored Victorian woodwork. They worked quickly, and efficiently, and the chandelier looks great. They even replaced the fixture box without opening a larger hole in the freshly painted ceiling.

The circuit blew on a Saturday. Owner A (me) called the dispatcher, and that day the response was prompt and professional. After that, it was all downhill. We were told that the work would take two men two days to complete, and it was scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday. The dispatcher said they started work at 7:00. A single electrician came at 9:00 on Wednesday, and left at about 2:30 to go to another job. He told us he had an inspection the next morning, and an appointment in the afternoon and would need to leave at 1:00. After he left, we discovered a broken light bulb in the basement, and a circuit left off. On Thursday, he arrived at 10:45 and left at 1:00. He said he would work a full day on Friday. After he left, we found that a work light and all the overhead lights had been left on in the basement. Friday morning, Owner B (my mother) got a call from the office saying the electrician was running late and would be at the house at 11:00. He arrived at 12:10. Owner B went upstairs in the afternoon and discovered the electrician lying on her bed. He said he felt faint due to the excessive heat. (Note: there is a loveseat in the room, and a recliner in the adjoining room.) Owner B called and reported this to the manager, who said he would call back. Before the electrician left, he told Owner B that the the upstairs was all set. After he left, she inspected the work and found there were no switch plates on the outlets in one room. Monday morning, owner B called and spoke with the manager. He came to the house and discussed the problems we had had. He offered to stay at the house while the electrician was there. The work was completed, pending inspection. After they left, we found there was one circuit that was not working. On Monday, the electrician came back to do some more work before the inspection. The work passed a hasty inspection. Owner B paid the balance due. After the electrician left, she discovered that the ceiling fan and overhead light in the living room, a hall light, and all but one circuit in two upstairs room were not working. She called the office. They originally offered to have the electrician come back on Thursday, but finally agreed to send him later that day. He came at about 3:45 and said the problem was a new circuit they were required to use, which were still not working properly.
