GREAT. Daniel Motti is a true professional; delivering great services at a really fair price. His team was fast, meticulous and extremely courteous to boot. They were attentive to our timeline, patient with our lengthy process of color selection and helpful in making suggestions along the way. They were careful to check with us when there was a question (paint the downspouts or not?) and also really careful with our house/furnishings (doing a great job covering stuff so it wouldn't be affected by dust, powerwash, etc.). It was a pleasure to work with them, our house looks great and the job was well worth every penny we spent.

We'd interviewed 4 contractors and chose Motti Painting Solutions. We'd been presented a very detailed description of the planned job, which gave us an impression of competence and trustworthiness, and got a very good personal impression of Mr. Motti. The work started on time. Windows were sealed with film, no dust inside. The house is ~35 ft toll to the roof line with many historical details. Meticulous prepping job (sanding, scraping, sealing, and calking) and excellent painting quality. Very high quality overall. The work was going without interruptions. Basic cleanup was done after each work day and very careful area cleaning after the work was finished All concerns after the final walk has been addressed in the next couple of days. The foreman came a few days after the project had been finished and money payed to check whether we have any problems. Clearly, the company wants to make long term relations and care a lot about its reputation. Very polite crew, easy communication with Mr. Motti by e-mail or phone. No regrets about our choice of contractor. We are not planning to sell the house, interested in long term quality. Will chose again should any need arise.

Daniel Motti and his crew were very impressive. Daniel did an excellent job working with me to establish a cost-effective scope of work on a challenging project, and was very communicative and collaborative as we worked through a contract detaining the work. His crew was professional and responsible. They went out of their way to communicate with neighbors and tenants to make sure everything went smoothly. As issues came up on site, as they always do in construction, Daniel promptly contacted me so we could immediately work out a solution and he was always one step ahead coming up with solutions on the job. Motti and his crew also had great attention to detail. There were many historic details on the shingling project that Motti did beautifully. He was also very patient and helpful as we tested numerous paint combinations to get the best paint colors and placement for the exterior and trim. I was blown away by Motti's work and professionalism, which is very rare in this industry. He has now done 2 other jobs for people I know who were so impressed with his work. Daniel Motti is an absolute pleasure to work with and I hope to work with him again soon!

After a second attempt to reschedule service I emailed the company last Thursday, 10/20/16, and gave them until Monday, 10/24/16, to see if we can schedule the service for the week of November 7th or 14th since I was told it would be a 5 day job. As of now I have yet to hear back from the company and they have the 10%, $350, of what I paid for which was cashed in late May. I have a feeling that they won't be working with me but I still need to get this service completed. I just got an email and they offered me $500 to drop everything.

Daniel was very friendly and easy to communicate with throughout the whole process of obtaining the quote through to the completion of the project. The quote was submitted in a timely manner and was competitive with other quotes. Daniel and his team were very professional. The work started on time. They kept the yard very clean every day after work. You could see that they cared about their job, the clients and making the house look good. We are very happy with the painting of the house, the repairs and the new storm windows. We would highly recommend Daniel and the work he and his team performs.

Daniel was very responsive to all communications and showed up on time for the quote. He was very honest in his assessment and I did not feel pressured at all. What he quoted for the job was more than I was willing to spend, but he had the most reasonable of all the contractors I brought to the house. I would of used him had my wife not gone on maternity leave, but our finances are tight at the moment.

Our six-unit condominium, comprising a two-unit Victorian built in 1860 and four-unit addition built in 1980, had suffered from deferred maintenance and cursory paint jobs for many years. After watching Motti paint and repair our neighbors' two-unit condo (similar combination of old and new construction, just smaller) last summer, we were motivated to catch up. Our trustees did our due diligence by interviewing three painting companies, with cost estimates ranging by more than 100%. Although the Motti proposal was the most expensive, it was by far the most comprehensive. Daniel Motti spent a few hours touring the property (in February) and included numerous photos. The Motti bid provided for extensive scraping of lead paint throughout the main house as well as visible carpentry repairs. Also, it allowed for additional carpentry work at a reasonable hourly rate of $60 an hour during the course of the job. This feature was important to us since we anticipated the need for additional work and wanted to avoid having a paint job put on hold for months while the carpentry work was performed. The fact that Motti has four carpenters on staff is a huge plus! By comparison, the other two bids were cursory one-pagers, and both specified that we would be responsible for finding carpenters to perform any necessary repair work (other than clapboard replacement) that they discovered. We accepted Motti’s proposal on 3/01/2016 and scheduled the job to begin on 6/15/2016. The painting crew arrived about two weeks later than scheduled, but Daniel stayed in touch with us during the delay and assured us that the job would be completed within six to eight weeks. The crew, led by Erwin, was conscientious, responsive and personable. Their extensive prep work was even more than we expected, and the crew persisted for long days despite oppressively hot weather. As we anticipated, the need for more carpentry repairs surfaced during the prep. The carpenters quickly assessed the work and Motti promptly provided an estimate for our approval. The painting crew split their time with another job while the carpenters performed $27,250 worth of repairs. The carpentry crew was led by Mauricio, who was thorough, accommodating and ready and willing to answer any and all questions; no detail was too small and no request was ignored. Daniel dropped by on a regular basis, and he welcomed any and all feedback. As the job neared completion, we provided a punch list (all minor items). The crews took care of it promptly, and they insisted on a final walk-through to make sure that we were satisfied with every detail. We were! At the end of the project, which lasted exactly eight weeks, we had spent $77,125 (painting $49,875 and carpentry $27,250). We all consider it money well spent, and we would work with Motti again. In fact, a few unit owners plan to use Motti for interior work during the winter season.

Great! We asked for a quote, which came back high but fair, and our condo association decided we wanted to wait until the following summer so everyone could save up some funds. They were willing to lock in the quoted price for a 10% down payment, and we were the first job scheduled the following spring. They were prompt, professional, and did a great job. They replaced some shingles and window sills very well. Very responsive when we had some touch-up work requested. They brought in their own port-a-potty so we didn't have to have the painters coming in and out of our units. They cleaned up well at the end of the day. Job took about two weeks, including rain days.

Our house was painted by Motti Home Solutions in late 2013. It looked great when it was completed, which wasn't until the spring of 2014 after multiple unanswered phone calls and the intervention of Angie's List. However now, there are a number of areas where the paint on the house is blistering and areas where the paint has peeled off completely. Despite multiple attempts to reach Motti, our calls have been ignored. They did contact us June 5 by e-mail asking for a reference. We replied that we had been trying to contact them about our situation and please get back to us. We cannot in good faith give a good reference. We are still being ignored! Motti has a 5 year warranty, we want the warranty honored. Please contact us and do the right thing!

I had our house painted by Daniel last July he did an excellent job prepping the house then primed /painted the house. The house looked new I would recommend highly him, and his workers they were courteous and cleaned up after each day... Very Professional...

Mr. Motti was friendly, puncutal, professional, knowledgeable, and even sent a small gift to the house with a thank you note, after our meeting. In the end, we decided not to use his services because of his higher price. However, this is not to say that his quality work would not have been worth the extra expense. We just decided to save some money. We were happy with the job completed by another contractor, but we would surely consider hiring Mr. Motti in the future, when the need arises.

They always showed up on time and did a great job. it was a big job that required a ton of scrapping and removal of lead paint from years earlier on our 1940's.

The Motti's were excellent to work with. Before contracting,we walked through the house noting carpentry repairs that might be needed and areas where we had problems with paint adhesion. They provided a very competitive bid for our large sprawling house along with photos of all the areas that they believed needed repairs. As it turned out, we were on vacation when they actually did the work. We returned to a beautifully painted house, with everything cleaned up. When I noticed a few things that needed attention, they were prompt to return and make the fixes. Over a year and a half later the paint job looks as good as new, even though we had previously had numerous issues with paint pealing from the old clapboards. I would heartily recommend them.

The painters were fantastic, hard working and responsive and had excellent follow up in the time since. We had some trouble getting the finish on the garage doors right and they persevered and stayed with it until we were satisfied. We also noticed that a year later the garage doors needed another coat of finish after the tough winter and Motti came back and did this with no additional charge. We have also added gutter cleaning from Motti which is a huge help with high gutters!

Motti is very professional, he communicates well. His team did great job cleaning up area each day of paint job. Very happy with the paint job on the two family house which is in desperate need of paint. We hired him to clean our gutters which did at on time at a reasonable price. Will hire him and his team again.

We are extremely pleased with the work that Motti Painting Solutions did on our house this past summer. From the initial estimate to completion of work, Daniel Motti was extremely responsive and addressed all of our concerns promptly. The painting and repairs were done to high standards, especially the trim and detail work. The crew was professional and cleaned up their equipment at the end of each day. At the end of the job, the area surrounding the house was even cleaner than it was before the job! The price was very reasonable, considering the amount of work done, which included quite a bit of carpentry repair. Overall, we would highly recommend Motti Painting Solutions!

I had ice damming damage that needed repaired so they came out and repainted the whole house. This was the best painting job that we have had. They were exceptionally nice and professional.

The entire project went even better than I could possibly have imagined and the house turned out beautiful. Although its fresh look is certainly a pleasure, I?m even happier about the fact that this old house is now well-protected against any future winters like the monster of 2014-2015. Here are the highlights of the work and the relationship with Motti Painting Solutions: - Daniel?s crew was predictably punctual each workday, and worked long hours?longer per day than I anticipated. - The crew was courteous, always smiling, quick to respond to queries, and respectful of our city neighborhood environment (neighbors very close on both sides). - The crew was thorough and meticulous with every step of the preparation and painting process. There was a lot of scraping and sanding required, and I particularly appreciated all the attention to detail they put into these labor-intensive, time-consuming efforts. - The crew cleaned up their workspace and our yards with the same attention to detail, and stored all their work paraphernalia (ladders, tarps, paints and other materials, tools) very neatly and unobtrusively. There was never any trash left on the worksite, or any disarray that had to be tidied up after they?d left for the day. - Daniel?s carpenter evaluated the window trim and areas of shingle that had been designated for possible replacement. When he determined that the wood was sound and no intervention was necessary after all, there was no pitch of any kind from Daniel to proceed with those costly improvements anyway. In fact, he was happy for us that the work, and the extra cost, was unnecessary. - When it turned out, unexpectedly, that 3 boards comprising the base trim of the 2nd-floor porch had rotted, Daniel smilingly had his carpenter replace them free of charge to us, unasked. - After the work and final clean-up were completed, the crew supervisor did a last walk-around with us, reviewing what had been done and quickly addressing any issues (such as an accidental swipe of dark stain on a recently painted white garden fence). - Daniel himself also always responded quickly to any questions I had during the project, replying to my emails immediately or almost so, and when a snafu delayed the final payment to him, he was exceptionally patient and gracious about it. - For a final surprise, Daniel followed up on the completed project with a ?thank you for your business? greeting card. It was the professional equivalent of a cherry on a sundae, and I appreciated it sincerely. In short, Daniel Motti, his crew, and his business are a homeowner?s dream of a contractor. I would hire him again in an instant and highly recommend him to other homeowners.

Initial paint job was excellent. They did a very thorough job with the prep. I was attracted to the 5 year warranty they claimed to provide. 3 years into the paint job and there were about a dozen places on the house were the paint had failed. I had difficulty contacting Motti and when I finally got through, they told me that it was no problem and they would repair the paint failures. That was two months ago and I havent' heard back from them. I got tired of waiting so I took care of the failed areas myself. This company does not stand behind their warranty.

The company did an overall good job on this extensive repainting job. They painters were polite, business like and very detail oriented. They made sure we were happy with the work. We had asked for them to be careful about some front yard green space that had been damaged by painters in the past, and they were careful. The crew carefully prepped all the surfaces and used paint guns for the house body, foundation and fence. This approach left a very good finish on the house. The trim work was careful and looked good. Motti's company has a carpenter on staff who was able to do some of the work needed on the trim replacement and other repair. They flagged a number of items before and during the job that needed to be addressed. We had the option to do this ourselves or ask them to do it. Every one of the flagged items truly needed to be changed. We did some of the work and they did some of the work. The charge rates were very reasonable. The joins on the trim work were very even and tight. The issues I would mention were 1) There appeared to be communication lapses between the management and the painters. While we gave Motti a very detailed work statement on what we wanted, when the prep work was done the painters did not appear to know what colors were going to be used. They also added some details on the trim we had never discussed with the company. We had to ask for some of these to be changed, which they did very responsively. 2) The person who did the power washing missed some parts of the house and fence. We asked for these to be cleaned before they painted. Overall, we are very pleased with the results. The house looks better than ever.

Mr. Motti was punctual and provided a very detailed and professional 8-page estimate of work to be done, plus certificates and references. When we selected a different contractor who had given us a lower price, Mr. Motti followed up in a nice way to ask for feedback.
