My project began with a visit by Daniel Motti who identified the issues related to my exterior home. He quickly presented to me an online proposal, detailing the carpentry repairs, siding repairs, trim repairs and and painting needs. He included pictures to illustrate the issues. He presented a detailed proposal including the work and the products that would be used. He itemized the payment process and offered a list of references. I had used his company in the past and can say my trust and satisfaction has only increased.. During the project significant wood rot was discovered. Daniel and his team were kind and sympathetic and immediately began a complicated repair, working long hours and both Saturday and Sunday due to a forecast of rain. The carpentry team was prompt, polite and kind. Their work was meticulous. The painters were also skilled and did beautiful work preparing and painting my home. Daniel was always immediately responsive to my calls or texts. I would be happy to recommend his company!

Great service, quick responses to questions, timely, good clean up. Beat up ceiling looks bran new, was planning to replace but was assured they could fix with skim job….looks great, saved $$$, saved ceiling height by not having to add another layer of wallboard. Tight paint lines, fixed blemishes and old nail holes……all around a very satisfying end product, would hire again.

Motti Painting Solutions recently completed a superb exterior painting job for us. First, they power washed the house, sanded, scrapped and caulked wherever needed. They painted our newly built porch, several sections of the house siding, all the detailed trim work, gutters and downspouts. They applied one full coat of primer and two coats of exterior paint. The crew replaced some complicated rotted trim. The job they did was outstanding! The workers were meticulous, professional, polite, quiet and dependable. They worked diligently every day for 11 hours. They cleaned up all debris, materials, and equipment daily. Motti’s prices were very fair and very reasonable for such high-quality workmanship which came with a 3 year warranty. We highly recommend Motti Painting Solutions for all your painting needs. Motti repaired trim, replaced some rotted shingles, and painted the exterior of our 1500 SF colonial. Before the job, Motti was very patient with me. I was a very high maintenance customer before the job because I asked for several changes to the written agreement. He was very accommodating but pushed back politely when something I asked for did not make sense. His company's payment system is very professional (although he does not accept credit cards). On the job site, Motti was efficient and left no trace, which is very impressive for a paint crew. The site was clean and all trash was removed. He was careful to leave leftover cans of paint behind for us for future touch-ups. The quality of work was excellent. The replaced shingles blend right in with the existing ones. The trim work wasn't perfectly matched in some places, but this is hard to get perfect in an old house -- it looks fine from the street. His painting approach (prep, prime, paint) worked very well and looks great. I was very meticulous inspecting the work and expected to have a long punch list, but did not find a single item. (A few months later when up on the ladder cleaning gutters on the garage, I found that he missed the fascia behind the gutter, but this is my fault for not catching it after inspection.) Motti was not the lowest bid, but his service was an outstanding value. I will be hiring him again for interior work.

Im a perfectionist but the house isnt... They were very attentive to the job.. Polite, thorough and did finish work nicely.. Timely and went above and beyond...

We had a great experience with Motti Painting Solutions. The onsite team was very professional and clearly they know their job. Jovany and the others were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Felipe was always ready to do everything he can to make us happy and the job was progressing quickly with minimal to no interruption to our daily activities. The end result is amazing and we are very happy with how the house looks like today. We will certainly bring them for our next job in the future. Highly recommended!

The best around period...yes call others but HIRE them...they are just that good.....They would have received all 5 stars yet I wanted to make sure that folks really understand how good they are...and many just give 5 stars to satisfy a request etc....having over 500 agents here at my real estate company I always endorse Motti Painting to my agents....call them today and find out the difference between and amateur and a Professional ......

We used Motti Painting to paint the interior of our condo in JP. They were incredibly responsive through out the whole process. The crew was very professional and our new paint looks amazing. They also refinished out stairs and did a great job there as well. They completed the job in the timeframe that they had indicated and the crew cleaned up at the end of every day so we were able to stay in our place while they were doing the job. I would highly recommend Motti for anyone looking for painting work.

Excellent job, my house looks like brand new!

I contacted Daniel during the spring to request touch up work. We communicated several times using email and Daniel came to inspect the house. He promised to come back when time and weather allowed to do the work. On 7/19/18 two workers arrived and scraped, primed and painted parts of the front and left sides that needed attention. Tarps were used to cover shrubs and mulch and they vacuumed up stray chips when done. The workers were friendly, competent and polite.

Dan and his team are very responsive to any and all questions. they were punctual, and very considerate of both my schedule and of my neighbors. the quality of work is top notch and I had nothing on a punch list when they were finished. Best contractors I have ever hired!

The Motti Solutions team did a wonderful job in painting our house. Their estimate was very complete. The carpentry work was excellently done, as was the painting and staining. They took great care to make sure that every detail was completed in a very timely manner. The house looks wonderful. It was also a great pleasure working with Daniel, his brother, and all of the workers. Everyone was professional, communicative, pleasant, kind and remarkably patient with color matching and decision-making.

Motti painted our six-unit house in Cambridge 3 years ago. I changed my unit's windows in the meantime, and need the window sashes to be refinished (14 of them, third floor). Daniel came over to get an estimate and was able to schedule the job (1.5 day) soon after. The price was fair, and the job very well done. I will hire them again for other painting jobs around the house.

This is the second time I have hired Motti Painting Solutions and I have been very happy with the results both times. The first time was to install crown molding and a cornice in my master bedroom. They did a lovely job and were very efficient and dependable. I love the crown molding and cornice. The recent time was to remove the popcorn ceiling in my living room/dining room, smooth plaster the ceiling, and paint the walls and trim in those rooms and the front hall. Again they were friendly, efficient, dependable and did a great job. I was especially impressed with how well they cleaned up every night making the job much less of a mess than I had anticipated. They also put everything back in place neatly at the end of the job. I highly recommend them and will use them again myself.

Daniel and Felipe did an excellent job taking care of our paint job-- we had new construction work plus peeling old paint and the house looks shiny and new again. Overall, the project went great-- a little hiccup getting the work started, but once started the team was professional and punctual, worked weekends to get it down, and came back several times to address a few issues we noticed. Overall, really well done.

Simply the best. I had Daniel paint my house 10 years ago and had zero problems. When it was time to paint my new house it was a no brainer. Daniel's crew is a pleasure to work with, they're fast, clean, and get the job done right.

Motti did a great job. Motti was responsive by e-mail and telephone. We received quotes from several local painting companies and their prices were quite reasonable. The team was punctual and effective and their work was of high quality. They responded quickly when we changed our mind about a color for a part of the house midway through the project, and they quickly and without question corrected a mistake they made and small imperfections we asked them to fix.

Daniel Motti is everything one can wish for in a contractor. The clarity of his proposal, the seamless fulfillment of the contract, the professionalism of all of his workers, their respect for and attentiveness to both my wife and I, and the consistent attention to detail are all measures of Daniel’s high standards and effectiveness as a manager. Motti Painting Solutions, under Daniel Motti’s leadership is an outstanding, first-rate company. When I read other’s positive recommendations, I am not put off by minor criticism--it can make the evaluation seem more realistic or grounded. In this case, there is absolutely not one criticism that I can offer. My wife and I were totally satisfied with and impressed by the work and the wonderful end product that Daniel and his team provided to us. Daniel was hired to do a complete prep and exterior painting of our large 3-story home including over 30 double-hung windows, an unattached garage, and a wooden stockade fence that abuts our property. The house had not been painted for over 25 years. He also oversaw exterior carpentry replacement and repairs before undertaking the paint job. The job took a little over 3.5 weeks to complete. Each aspect of the project was undertaken with great skill and care. The team (3-5 workers) was overseen by a supervisor--Dimos--who clearly had the respect of his team, which was hardworking and cohesive. There was no weak link in this group. They were personable and thoughtful about our needs. Dimos is a great communicator and responded effectively to my inquiries and concerns. When I interviewed Daniel for the job he pointed out that his carpenters were his employees, rather than being subcontracted, and this would work to our benefit. It did. Our carpenter, Mauricio (and his assistant) fully focused on the carpentry itemized in our contract. He worked in a sequence that was seamlessly coordinated with the prep and painting. He repaired and replaced our lengthy wooden fence and solved a long-standing problem of stabilizing one end of the fence. He replaced damaged shingles, repaired a deck and 3 sets of stairs. Mauricio is an expert carpenter who works quickly and well. I met with and was impressed by Daniel for an interview and one subsequent meeting. During the work, I was in touch with Daniel regularly--largely by email--occasionally by phone. Unfailingly, he responded the same day to my emails--or early the next morning. His replies systematically responded to each of my questions or concerns. Daniel’s writing is excellent and clear. Although he was not often on-site, his regular contact with Dimos meant he was always on top of the project as it proceeded. Daniel epitomizes professionalism. His proposal/contract and invoices are a comprehensive and detailed. The contract price for the job increased only because my wife and I wanted additional carpentry. We never felt there was pressure on the team to finish up and get on to the next customer (this in season when all exterior house work had been significantly backed up by rain). At the end, Dimos’ team members came back promptly to attend to small issues--windows that were stuck, etc. We are thoroughly satisfied with their excellent work.

We watched Motti do an excellent job with our neighbor's house and hired them for our own. Motti quickly provided a quote, provided an accurate start date. Once they started, they worked 7 days a week, 12+ hours a day to complete the job. Given the extensive scraping involved, cleanup was good throughout. Close attention to detail, no shortcuts taken, and good communication throughout. The house looks great and we get unsolicited comments from many people who walk by.

There was continual communication difficulty between the owner, his foreman, and me during the job. Had I not been around during the job areas agreed upon with the owner would not have been handled by the job foreman. The job was finally completed satisfactorily. This year there are some areas on the house that need scraping, touch-up & repair: peeling, blistering and rust coming through paint as non-stainless screws were used on deck repair. I emailed the owner, Daniel Motti twice - it is difficult for me to understand him on the phone, we have never met face to face - to set up a time for him or foreman to view what needed to be done. Daniel is very computer literate so that is not the problem. The first time, after he responded offering several days in which he could look at the job and I responded with the specific days that were good for me, he NEVER FOLLOWED THROUGH and I never heard from him. I tried a SECOND time and after several reminders from me he offered several choices again, to which I AGAIN chose several and AGAIN asked him to let me know when he'd be showing up. After never hearing from him, I called after those selected days passed and he never showed up, asking him why he never showed up and if he was going to honor his warranty. The conversation became a bit heated though I didn't think anything had been said to cause his annoyance and he told me never to call him again and hung up before I could respond. This is not an easy man to deal with, expect big communications problems and forget about his warranty. I have not reviewed Motti Painting until now as I was concerned my negative review would influence his living up to the warranty.

Motti is probably the best home-improvement company I have hired. Their work was exceptional - incredibly thorough, great attention to detail, professional, friendly, timely, considerate of the neighbors, good communicators, everything you could ask for. The house was in pretty bad shape (less good painters 10 years earlier) and they made it look beautiful. We also had a fair amount of carpentry work on top of that - a lot of loose shingles and a rotten post on the porch. Motti's carpenters also did a beautiful job. The price was fair for the scope of the work.
