My wife and I began shopping for a home generator when we purchased our new home in July 2016. With a newborn, we wanted the convenience of an auto on, whole house setup so that my wife would not have to mess with a portable generator and breakers if the power went out while I was working. We called 3 different generator installers to get quotes and we chose Paul Foley Electric after he sat down with us, explained our options and provided us with a quote for the work. Paul was honest, knowledgeable and extremely professional. After providing him with a deposit for the work, Paul began the process of pulling permits and getting the job done. Paul was in constant contact with me during each phase of the install. From pouring the concrete pad that the generator was installed on, to delivering the generator to my property, to doing the electrical wiring, Paul and his team conducted their work to the highest of standards. Everything was completed in a timely, professional and clean manner. Everyone who came to my house was extremely professional and polite. I would not hesitate to hire Paul and his team for any other work that I need done at my house. Upgrades from 100A to 200A service. Paul came within a day to look at what needed to be done and provide an estimate. Once we went forward his team did a nice job. The inspector even said the job was done nicely. I'd recommend these guys to anyone.

The first time I hear the name Paul Foley Electric, I was in need of service as soon as possible.. I had a conversation with Paul and we meet at my home.. on Monday at 1:00 he was 15 min early .. He reviewed my work I need done and the next morning I got an estimate ...He was very detailed, spent good time with safety. Paul had with him the first time meeting a history of customer , copy of license, Insurance Cet., and lots more... I was installing a Pool and I update my service from 100 amp to 200 and wiring to my pool. I hired Paul and he started the very next day , two days work and the work was very clean. Paul Foley Electric was thorough and extremely professional in their evaluation of the work required for me to have a standby generator for my home installed. It required a complete facelift of my ancient electrical service along with the digging of a sixty foot trench to meet my specifications. All of these tasks were completed in a timely and efficient manner with no wasted motion or surprises. Paul met with me very quickly to look at my problem and set-up a date and time to have the work done. He kept me up to date with any communication with Eversource and also helped to expedite Eversource to get us reconnected with the grid and get our power back on. Great company to work with.
