Frank Lamparelli Oil Co Inc told me to wait for a person who was experienced with the tank-less water heater,when he arrived, he arrived, he really didn't know about the tank-less water heater. We had a situation when the snow storm came and we lost power, so I had to use a generator and I had to go down and check if everything was okay and there was water leaking out of the sides of the boiler and it wasn't leaking before, it was leaking after they told me it was missing a certain part that wasn't there and so they installed it and it hasn't leaked since. But I guess if it was missing the part before, then why didn't it leak. I have a disagreement on one of the invoice because he supposedly got water out of the heater and I got them to waive that because they hadn't done anything. When they came back to put the part in, they charged me more than what I thought I would, based on the conversation that I had with the owner. They were expensive and I would not use them again.

Well, to begin I've got nothing but nice things to say about Frank, his field techs, and the company on the whole. I feel comfortable in saying this because I have spent a lot of time with Frank and most of his techs as we dealt with the unusual and confounding problems that our old steam furnace system was dealing out. The full story of the ordeal is long and only useful to the few homes left that are heating with steam from an oil furnace. The long and short of it is that although a steam system may seem simple, they can be very quirky. There are not very many companies out there that have the staff that knows how to troubleshoot the problems. Frank does. There are not many companies out there that will have the patience to keep coming back to the same furnace 5,6,7 times to skim it, replace the vents, repipe the returns till the house heats evenly and quietly. Frank did. When it was finally over, heat and pipe banging problems solved with not a single extra service charge, I called Frank and thanked him for seeing it through. He admitted he was taking a hit on the job, but what mattered most to him was to solve the problem and to insure customer satisfaction. What more can you ask from a service company? It's simple, when you need to get work done on your house you are looking for a company that will be a reliable partner, someone who will see the job through and make you feel comfortable to invite them back. There are not enough companies out there like that. Frank and his company is and I highly recommend them if you are looking to replace or service your heating system. Thanks Frank.

They offer free boiler cleanings each year, which comes with using their service. I am happy with them. They are more expensive, but having the service that comes along with it is worth it.

Our boiler gave up the ghost and was leaking water into the basement. Frank personally came out with two of his best people on New Year's Eve day. They started at 7:30AM and stayed until past 7:00PM to ensure the job was done. We have a complicated, old system and Frank's team has been willing to come out any time, day or night, to help us sort out problems. They work with you until the problem is solved and provide outstanding service. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

He was willing to give me some advice on some other things that he didn't come out for.

I would highly recommend them. There was a new law regarding moving up the furnace. They communicated the law to me; I did not need to know about the law. When you call them, they will come out the very same day. They have very competitive rates, even in these days of tough oil prices. They are always on time. They are very nice. I would not have stayed with them if they were not good. I will continue to use them in the future.

My furnace suddenly quit working on a cool Sunday morning (11.07.2010). I called the number for Frank Lamparelli Oil and was told by their answering service that they would only respond to an emergency if I was a "regular" customer. I left my name and contact info and hoped they would at least call me so I could discuss the problem. I never heard back from them. Very poor and unprofessional. Don't count on Frank Lamparelli Oil in an emergency unless you are a "regular" customer! (I certainly won't be calling them for a quote to install a new furnace in my home).

Frank Lamparelli ("FL") is our oil provider and has been since we purchased our home (Summer 2010). We pay a bit more per gallon, but we also have our service contract with FL. We've never had a problem with our system until about a month ago. During our pre-season check-up, a small oil leak was detected in our oil tank. FL attempted to fix the leak, but it was ultimately determined that the tank needed to be replaced. FL was extremely professional and responsive throughout this process. Then, about a week later, a water pipe burst in our basement. The pipe was located directly above our furnace, rendering the electronics on the furnace useless. We called FL at 7p on a Sunday. FL had a technician at our home at 11p. We had our heat back on by midnight. FL originally thought some electronics would need to be replaced, but ultimately was able to fix the existing system (at considerable savings to us). We are extremely pleased with the level of service we've received from FL over the past month and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends & family.

Took longer than they'd planned b/c of defective part from factory that they had to trouble shoot before determining that the problem was the part. Then they had to go pick up the part a few towns away. But they made sure the important stuff was running and I had HW before they left. It was a very long day for the crew. Had to come back another day (when it was convenient for me) to install the Intellicon - the final piece. Two weeks later I had to call back b/c I didn't have HW coming out of the faucet, although guages all showed tanks were full of HW. Service guy showed up same day and installed a new circulator (?) - 2nd defective part from the factory.

They respond quickly whenever I call for anything that is wrong. I have not had any issues with them. Anytime I need something fixed or if I have a question about the boiler or anything, they are always happy to help. I pay $2.39 per gallon for the oil, which is good. They do not charge me for the delivery. That price ends this winter so I don't know if it will go that low again. They are giving me a quote on a new oil burner system, but their responsiveness has not been as good as their competitors. The other companies were able to provide me an estimate in two or three days, while I waited a month for their quote. It was just that one person who came to give me the quote who did not get back to me that quickly. Everything else has been great. I would use them again in the future.

We have an automatic service with them. The oil prices are high. We never had any problem with them. The only thing within the oil company is we get lock into their price. We haven't really shopped around to see if there are any lower prices. We liked them because we have a contract with them, and they will do the boiler or furnace service. They are really prompt. One guy who came out really helped us because I asked him about the chimney liner, and he referred me to somebody who could do it. That guy actually did it for a lot lower than any other estimates that we got. He was someone they knew. Frank Lamparelli guy was nice, and he helped us that way. They are fairly competitive. We were unfortunate because we were locked with them, and the prices of the oil lowered.

Their responsiveness and good service has what has kept me going back to them.

The job went well. They had a prompt response. They were also friendly.

The company performed the work very quickly in one day with several employees working on it. This involved removing the old boiler and installing the new one in the same space. The installation was done well and the price was similar to other companies we obtained quotes from. However there were some loose ends which we are still addressing and consider the high cost of this type of project we had hoped to have a little better explanation of why things were occurring. We began to notice a strong oil smell coming from several upstairs radiators and we began to experience headaches from these fumes upstairs and as a result asked them to come back and try to help us figure out the cause. They were good about sending someone but each tech had a different theory. One noticed that one of our vents was stuck which he said was preventing adequate ventilation of exhaust fumes up the chimney. Another noticed that our fuel nozzle hadn't been replaced as recommended each year and said that was the cause. Also they pointed out that the valves on our radiators were old and needed to be replaced at a high cost of $1000 which could be the problem. A complementary service plan is provided for several years but we were not informed that we needed to call to have this performed and then were told that was why we smelled the fumes and that we should have called and had this done. This included necessary regular skimming of the boiler to remove oil deposits accumulated (esp in the first years), filter replacement, nozzle replacement, efficiency check etc. Ultimately we are glad we replaced our boiler since the heat is more even and the new boiler is more efficient. Our only advice would be to be proactive about addressing any outstanding concerns. Ultimately we hope to move to biofuels or other clean burning heat sources and get away from oil heat entirely.

We have used Lamparelli for about 3 months so they inspected our oil system and made several deliveries. They are friendly and responsive; you can tell the employees care about the company and want to provide great service. And we'll save about $1,000 this winter on fuel and inspection costs!

I thought that they were good. They came out in middle of winter and fixed the oil burner problems a couple of times. I had a few different problems and they were really good about returning the calls and coming out to do the repairs. I spent about $900 on the repairs. The quality of their work was good. I will use them again in the future.

They were professional, courteous, and prompt both for oil delivery and the one repair. I would absolutely use them again. They were very easy to work with and worked with me around budget payments. They were very understanding about a couple late payments during a difficult time. I strongly recommend them.

I've used Lamparelli Oil for home heating oil for several years in two different houses. Although they will never be the cheapest oil, they are top notch when it comes to service. I had them out a couple times for emergency (no heat) situations. One was at 1 am and the service was prompt (within 30 minutes they showed up) and the guys are always friendly and answer any questions you have about what they are doing. The work performed for this project was exceptional. They stayed until the heat was back in the house (12-14 hours of labor) and returned the next day to finish up the re-zoning. Bill (HVAC engineer) called me several times to give me updates and talk about any changes. They showed up right on time. They were also very helpful in filling out paperwork for rebates after everything was installed.

They came as scheduled, within 2 weeks of our signing the contract. The first day they removed the old heater and completely installed, plumbed, vented and tested the new system. We had heat and hot water that night. The next day they replaced the oil tank. The work was professional and exactly as promised. They cleaned up after themselves. I have only one minor concern: the new boiler (a Buderis) tends to cause a rumbling in the venting that transmits to the house (like a truck going by outside) when it fires up.

I signed a contract with this company for oil delivery. I locked in at $.30 less than the current rate for the season. I also received 2 years of free service. All of my encounters with this company's employees have been very good. They came on time, paid attention to small details, and answered all of my questions thoroughly.

Two servicemen arrived on time, dismantled the old boiler which was removed by a disposal service.The new boiler was delivered and installed and by 4:00 PM I had heat and hot water. So far, the unit has performed flawlessly.They even swept the floor. I made a down payment of 1,675.00 followed by twelve payments of 418.75. A quote by another Angies List "A" rated contractor was 9,000.00.

Lamparelli prides itself on both service and cost, two factors that don't always go hand in hand. I am in the first year of my contract with them which covers services for 3 years. My boiler was on the way out and they came out 2 times to try and fix it. A third visit on a Friday the service guy determined I needed a new one. They sent their sales person out on Monday, who after calculating size of system, determined that I was on the fence between two size (3 or 4 section), so he offered my the next size up. They did the job on Tuesday. Not only the best quote (other one was $6200 for a smaller 3 section boiler), but the install was professional and they were done by mid afternoon. Strongly recommend.

They have been great. They have been punctual and responsive. I called a little after five at night when our a/c broke, and there was a repair man the next day at about 9:30 am. I have not had any issues with them. I would recommend them to anybody.

Both service calls were done well. The dispatcher confirmed the times that were scheduled. The technician did the two projects in about an hour each.
