It went very well and I've been quite happy with the Riello burner and Smith boiler. Dealing with Lamparelli is also always a pleasant experience. They do things the right way.

They come out as scheduled. Performed maintenance on my system. The technician was there promplty as scheduled. They replaced a thermostat and didn't even charge for it.

Frank Lamparelli Oil is great. They are always very professional and whenever we have had an issue with ANYTHING they have always come out to fix it same day. When I make calls there they are very nice. I would recommend them to anyone!

I have my burner cleaned every spring. I have a service plan with them so it didn't cost me anything. One worker came out to complete the work and it took a couple of hours to complete. The area was left very clean.

When I couldn't continue with my old heating company , I went looking for another here on Angie's list & went with Frank Lamparelli I get my oil now from them as well as I had one of their techs service my burner. He did a good job as well as informed me of how to handle a problem I was having that the old company didn't know how to fix. I'm glad I switched! Try them out, I think you'll be happy with them as well.

I'd give them an A+! They came down when they said they were going to. They are courteous and professional. They left the place immaculate. I would highly recommend them! In fact, they are coming back tomorrow! They are very good.

Excellent, they identified the problem (bad capacitor, loose compressor motor connection), and repaired in about an hour.

Lamparelli has been our oil company since we moved into the house in late spring of 2014. They also had the service contract on the furnace and did work on our air conditioners as well. We were very satisfied customers, but did get a couple of competitive bids for complete system replacements and Lamparelli was close enough and a lot more thorough in their proposal and work detail. We chose them based on our experience to date. They sub-contracted for the Carrier brand upstairs and downstairs air-handlers & outside compressors. Their sub-contractor accidentally put his foot through the ceiling while installing the air-handlers in the attic but will send us a check (we'll see) for the damages (about $350, we just recently had it all repaired and painted). Worse case, I'm trust Lamparelli would cover the costs if nothing else. The Slant/Fin oil furnace and recirculating pumps replacement (and massive amount of pipe work) for 4 zones of heat and a hot-water-transfer domestic hot water heater was all completed in a single day (hot water heater had been added about 5-years ago, so it was not replaced) in early December. A little chilly that day, we should have done it sooner, but they got it done and we were warm that night for bed. All of the folks here at the house were professional and did a great job. Highly recommend Lamparelli.

It was excellent. One person came out and he was personable and efficient. It is a small family owned operation. They are very available, attentive and even shoved through the snow to fill my oil. He dug through 5ft of snow to get to it. I have two oil tanks so he did it for both. That was very kind.

We were satisfied with them. They're very good and has to buy a service contract but they were very good. They cleaned up after themselves.

On Friday night I discovered my oil tank was almost empty. Problem - the oil inlet is at the back of my house and with the amount of snow we've had, I wasn't able to dig a pathway. I called my usual plow company, but they were unable to help. I called Lamparellis and explained the problem. The lady on the phone was extremely sympathetic and said she would send their serviceman to see if he could get through the snow. She said they would probably not get to me until Saturday late or Sunday, and if there was a problem they would contact me. Not 20 minutes later, the truck was at my home. The serviceman (I'm sorry didn't get his name), trudged through the snow up to his thighs and discovered we couldn't get through the gate to my enclosed backyard, He came through my house, went out the back door, trudged around the side of the house and dug out the gate. He then returned to the truck and dragged that heavy hose back through the snow and filled my tank!!! I have been with Lamparellis for 10 years now, and have ALWAYS had the most incredible service. All their service people are so professional and extremely helpful, but this was above and beyond what they are expected to do and for that I am extremely grateful!!!

My water alarm went off around 10:00 pm EST. Turned out to be a leaking pressure valve. I called Lamparelli's on call, within 5 minutes received a call back. Tech offered to come out to fix, within 30 minutes he arrived, fixed my issue in 15 min. I felt bad that he had to come at 11:00pm to fix a leaking valve, but gave me peace of mind that the issue is now resolved. I guess these service contracts pay for themselves. Thanks again!

I was a little too quick on my previous review. The whole reason why I was asking for a tune-up in the first place was because the other company I used for the 5 other visits, questioned why I wanted a tune-up. I wanted a tune-up becaue the other company couldn't diagnose the problem correctly and I had spent over $300 and they wanted me to spend another $250 on a $20 part for "fixes" that weren't the problem. I needed to know why my boiler wasn't always coming so I asked for a tune-up, I wasn't getting satisfaction from the other company. So I called Frank Lamperelli up. The service technician came and checked things etc., but I now know that he didn't actually find the problem even after it took the boiler close to a minute to kick on. "Oh, that's how it's supposed to be". When I called for a tune-up, I had already suffered through five visits by another company that failed to pick up a simple flame sensor as being the problem with why my boiler wouldn't come on all the time, very inconsistent. I told the technician what the problem was and what I had to do to get the heat on, he told me it sounded like a gas pressure problem. I lost heat again the following night after the tune-up, so I called the gas company on Sunday morning ...based on what the technician told me was the problem. Unfortunately, it was not a gas problem with the pressure. I have a gas water heater that works just fine. It was the flame sensor(electronic igniter or in other models, thermal couple). I don't understand how something basic like this could be overlooked. Additionally, I was charged over $25 than what I was quoted for a tune-up and then a lot more for the service call plus the part for something that took 15 minutes to install. I get the hour charge, but seriously... as an Angie's List member, I sort of expected something better especially because I was told that it was a gas pressure problem when it clearly wasn't. How could a tune-up miss that important thing? Paul who came out on Monday was great- he knew what was going on and even question why it wasn't picked up by three previous technicians, especially by the company that had more experience with gas boilers than his company. I don't know either, I'm just the poor schmuck who didn't have consistent heat for the better part of two months because nobody could figure it out until Columbia Gas pointed it out immediately when I called them for help. Thank God for Tina from Columbia Gas, she came over on Sunday morning to see what the problem was. .

When my aqua booster failed the GM called me after hours, knew exactly what kind of system I had and quoted a reasonable price for a new indirect hot water tank. Installation was flawless and a year later we have had zero issues. I did move on to use another full service COD oil company. I would consider using them again if I choose to go on automatic delivery.

Prompt and professional. While the price was a little higher than I liked, I was willing to pay a extra for the level of service and expertise that Lamparelli brings. My heater is not serviced by many HVAC companies so it's nice to have such experts nearby.

I have had Lamparrelli Oil for over 20 years and all ways found them fair and prompt on service calls.

Individual arrived on time and went straight to the furnace. Asked if the coil was replaced when the furnace was replaced. Talked about the types of Freon. Went outside and looked at the outside A/C unit and said he'll send a quote for a 2 ton A/C unit right a way. Didn't receive a quote so called the office a week later. Was told the individual was out of the office, so I left a number I could be reached at. As of today no quote or call back.
