Description of Work: Inspected the dryer, replaced some worn parts, reins pecten and determined the problem was fixed.

Description of Work: They came on a service call after my main drain backed up into the cellar. By the time they got here, the drain was clear, but they came with the guy from the City to see if we qualified for replacement of the drain pipe to the city sewer. He opened up the clean out and could easily have put the snake down the pipe, thus creating a charge for me. Instead, he said, "This is clear to the street. I can hear the city passing by. I'll put the snake down here if you like, but then I'll have to charge you." I said know, and he hauled the heavy motorized snake back to the truck. He could easily have just put the snake down there, told me it was clear and then charged me.

Description of Work: I thought my oven was not heating up properly and my oven temperature thermometer was recording a lower temperture then what i set the oven for. He tested the oven and said the temperature was fine and no repairs were necessary. The moral-there are honest repair people and buy a better oven thermometer.

Description of Work: Fixed a clothes dryer that wouldnt rotate. Need multiple parts but work was completed in <30 minutes.

Description of Work: I noticed a small leak coming from under my washing machine. Based on information from Angie's list, I contacted B & G Appliances. An appointment was scheduled for the same day I called. The repair man arrived on time, and quickly identified the issue as a faulty pump. He had the part on his truck and installed it. It took less than five hours from the time of my call to the time the repair was completed.
