E R Electric

It went very well. He came out right away and gave us an estimate. He put it up when he said he would. The price was pretty good. It was pretty reasonable. He was very neat and clean about it. It looks very good up on the ceiling.

The installation was just as requested. Eddie and his assistant showed up on time and did the work quickly and neatly.

We bought an older house and both our home inspector and the insurance inspector noted that the existing electric panel was an outdated fire hazard. While not cited by our insurance company as an issue, our meter also needed to be moved outside in order to be brought up to code. We contacted three different electricians, including Eddie. Eddie was responsive to our inquiry and came to look at the electric set up within a few days of our first contact. He provided a detailed estimate of the work that needed to be done and the associated costs. Price-wise, his estimate was in line with the other electricians we talked to, though one electrician just emailed an estimate without coming to see the house, and the other electrician told us to save ourselves money and not fix the meter now, which meant doing the work without a permit (which made us wary). In contrast, Eddie worked with the city to pull the appropriate permits and follow up with the city inspector once the work was completed. The work was clean and quickly approved by the inspector. He made the whole process very easy for us, and he was able to get the work done within two weeks of the estimate. We felt the price was more than reasonable and are very pleased with the job they did. We will hire him again for future electrical projects in our home.

E/R Electric is the best. Wonderful service - fast and reasonable rates. My house looks/works so much better in just a few hours! I will 100% use them again. Great job guys!

They were very responsive and returned my telephone call immediately. When I called to schedule a date for installation, they were very prompt with providing the service. Very professional and friendly. We would recommend them in a heart-beat to anyone looking for electrical work.

I have nothing but good things to say about Eddie. I chose him because his prices were far better than the other estimates, and his work has been phenomenal. He also is extremely responsive and has numerous times fit me in on short notice. I highly recommend him!

My smoke detectors were 11 years old. Since the fire department says they should be changed every 10 years I hired Eddie to change all my smoke detectors and to add hard wired carbon monoxide detectors. I have been having a problem with them going off without any reason. Each time Eddie came back to check things out to make sure all was OK. He never charged for any of these visits. After the third time this happened he changed them all after talking with a company representative. No charge. I still had one that would ring so he came today to check the wiring on this one - again no charge. EVERY SINGLE VISIT HE WAS ON TIME!!! Next to his electrical abilities, I value this highly. On top of these two he is very personable, responsible (when he says he will do something he does it) and just a very nice person, someone you feel comfortable with in your home. He is also very reasonable. He was the least expensive of the three I asked for estimates and the one I felt was most competent. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND E/R ELECTRIC! I would give him an A+ if this were available to check off.

My experience was very good. I specially liked the work progress and scheduling and obviously the price. They were on time and they cleaned up the mess and their work was good. I spent a little bit over the big deal amount of $ 160 for some additional things I needed and the total cost was approximately $ 330.

Eddie was prompt, courteous and very professional. His competence is obvious, as he works quickly and efficiently. My primary reason for using him was to fix an outlet that wasnt working, which he did with no problem. I also had him replace a few ceiling fan switches. He also had no problem doing this and the finished product is great. He put in some extra effort to align one of the wall switches which was previously crooked. I would use him again with no hesitation.

Eddie is great. He's very responsive and communicative and does fast, good work. I had botched a repair job on an overhead light and called in Eddie to fix my mess. Looking forward to working with him on a bigger project.

Eddie arrived on time, and was very professional. He presented his Identification and credentials, which made me feel very comfortable. We had communicated by email but he hadn't seen what needed to be done. He assessed the situation quickly, and asked me if I wanted him to complete the job then. We discussed and confirmed the price, and he estimated that he would complete the job in an hour. He had another electrician with him. They worked quickly and within the hour were done. And he didn't forget to return my Visitor Parking Pass, which I appreciated.

They were great. They put in a new fixture to set my heat in my living room. It has worked fine. I may ccall them again to put in a new multask unit.

I utilized an Angies big Deal for 2 man hours of electrical work for $160.00. E/R Electric was very responsive and professional from contacting me to organizing the service call and doing the actual electrical work. Even though they were traveling quite a distance on the day of the service visit, they were prompt and stayed in communication to let us know that they would be delayed by 30 minutes. Eddie and Giovani were polite, professional and they completed both tasks within the hour. The charge for additional supplies seemed high, but overall I am very happy with their work and would reccommend them for electrical work.

Work was done expeditiously and professionally. We were quite pleased.

Eddie is great.....he does good work and is reasonable with pricing. He and one other guy installed a new ceiling fan for me and while he was here we discussed a couple of other potential projects. I recommned E/R Eelectric !

I think there was a confusion; when I purchased, I think it was 2 hours for 1 electrician but then they had the discretion of sending 2 electricians for 1 hour. The job that I had did not require 2 electricians so I didn't get all the time that I would like.

Went well. I had the chandelier but still had to run out to home depot for supplies the guys needed. I left them alone in my house and there were no problems. Would definitely use ER electric again.

This critical review of E/R Electric is a bit tough to write as I've met Eddie and believe him to be a well intentioned worker. However, because of difficulties in managing his schedule of projects, we wound up being sorely disappointed in the timeliness with which he provided his services. This past year we undertook a fairly extensive renovation of our home, including the outdoor landscaping. The last bit of the project was coordinating a number of contractors, including the electrician for the outdoor lighting. Eddie was a bit out of his element doing outdoor work, and we knew/accepted that going in. I suspect his lack of outdoor experience may have contributed to his difficulties in accurately estimating how much time would be involved. Regardless, he was unacceptably radio silent when it came to proactively updating us on where the project stood and any delays he was experiencing. Had to chase him down too often via phone/email. In a surprise move towards the end of his employment on the job, out of the blue he gives us a new timeline estimate, "I honestly don't see myself getting it done within another 3/4 weeks that's if I don't get more emergency calls etc.. " Talk about non committal! Well, that sounds like 5 to 6 weeks to me. Had to pull the plug on E/R Electric and move on to another electrician. The new electrician came out, assessed the situation, then sent out a crew of 4 or 5 guys and was able to bang it out in a week and a half. Probably wound up paying more that what E/R was charging, partly due to the inability to effectively transition between electricians, but am very satisfied that it was the right move in the end.

He called 1/2 hr early to see if he could stop by early. Polite, professional and neat. I have used him for2 project and both project where positive experience.i

E/R Electric was offering specials by the hour of labor and I wanted to get and estimate of what can be done and how long would it take. After contacting Eddie, we finally agreed to meet and I showed him everything I was thinking of fixing. I asked him to tell me how much time will it take so I could chose what to fix and if it was worth it. It took a while for Eddie to email me back the estimates and when I got it, to my disappointment, he priced every repair separately without the time estimate. I never had his service so I don't know what it's like. But if somebody advertises one hour of work for specific amount, the estimates should be given by time, not in dollar amount. It would be more appropriate to say: in an hour I can fix this and this, and you may have time left for fixing a lamp, and not " fixing an old lamp would cost you $30" because in this case, I would rather put it in the trash
