They were proving the canisters along with the lights with the installation. I couldn't be happier. They were very professional, showed up on time, and finished the job in record time. The room was left nice and neat.

I rarely write reviews, but the service we received from Eddie was so exceptional I feel obligated to post something. We had an overloaded circuit that was causing us to lose power in our kitchen every time we turned on the dishwasher. When I called another electrician, I was told that this would be at least a full day job at $200/hour. So I looked for an alternative, and my neighbor recommended Eddie, who was able to fix the problem in under an hour for less than half of what I'd have had to pay the other electrician. He was personable and extremely capable. I couldn't be more pleased.

Service was ok, but their client approach is unacceptable - therefore the 1 star… although an expert in the field, I was never advised of the possibility to save money down the road by not having to do the same work twice, which btw costed me $1700 - this is not consultative selling, it is transactional selling with no care for customers’ interest in mind whatsoever. Here’s the story - hired them a year and a half ago to install service mast to align temp main wire to code that was left hanging from roof by prior owner. After a brief email exchange and price discussion which was firm and non negotiable and since I needed the service at the time, I ordered it. They showed up on time, so I left them do their work along with the check and went back to work. After a few hours, I got a text showing me a photo of the work and that “all was set”. I inspected when I got back home and found out that they did not touch the point of attachment of the main wire from street that was attached on the gutter - asked them why didn’t they move that which they answered had been an ok point of attachment vs brick - which according to other electricians I’ve inquired with, had not been the case, but that’s another story - this is just to illustrate how disinterested they were in the completeness of their project and of their customer’s best interest. So far so good one might say - fair and square trade, however… A year and a half later, I am contacting them again for a 200amp panel upgrade which they advertise here on Angie and guess what - the exterior wire they pulled for the service mast was never meant to accommodate a future upgrade to a stronger amperage - I was never even mentioned a word that 200 amp was a possibility, which one should expect from a seasoned electrician, however they’d rather take advantage of your ignorance and never bothered mentioning a tiny little detail like that so that they or anyone from the guild can redo the whole thing again for the same or higher cost to make the upgrade - how convenient - though, not for the customer who is left rather disappointed and baffled that such dirty little tricks still exist in the 21st century- Am definitely not recommending these guys to anyone… and btw they probably going to say in response to my review now that “we advised the customer of the upgrade option but he declined” - which is of course, an outright lie and Mr. ER knows it, if he can recall.

We had a new oven delivered and when we removed old oven, large spark occurred. We needed this repaired immediately and I reached out to ER Electric and was able to repair the outlet in the same day which we really appreciated. They were easy to work with reasonable rates. I will definately be using them for future projects.

Outstanding! I've used Eddie several times over the past few years for a variety of small electrical jobs (wall-mounting TVs, installing new electrical outlets, installing a new ethernet cable, fixing a broken light fixture, etc). He is always super prompt, reliable, easy to communicate with, and does a great job. He went above and beyond in my most recent experience. When Eddie was re-hanging a TV, it slipped from the place it was resting and broke. These things happen every once in a while to everyone. To solve the problem, within hours Eddie had ordered a new, replacement TV -- the exact same model -- at his expense and came by a few days later to reinstall the new TV and make sure it was working perfectly. Outstanding service, I would definitely recommend and will use him again for my future electrical jobs.

Eddie and team are top notch electricians. They are responsive, reliable, prompt, expedient and friendly. We’ve used them for years and have recommended them time and again to neighbors and friends (who all have great experiences with them as well). We once had a crazy problem with internet cables, that no one else could figure out, and Eddie was able to solve our issue with expertise. We can’t recommend them enough.

Aweful experience. Asked him here to identify why lights were flashing on an off all over the house. Came here and couldnt find anything. Two days later the exterior breaker switch to my AC unit failed and almost caused a fire. I emailed him photos to replace the unit which he said he would do. A week goes by, then two with no AC. When he finally answered me, he complained "its hard for him to order the part from the photo". So why didnt he come by and look at it two weeks earlier??? He wouldnt call back to discuss the issue and said he "only texts customers". Came across as a young kid that didnt know what he was doing. I would never hire him to do anything.

It was amazing. The two men came in and were done within minutes. They brought all their own cleaning equipment, and swept up after themselves. Would hire them again in a second!

Working with ER was fantastic. They were incredibly communicative and coordinating the job was a breeze. The work itself was excellent, and they were great about keeping me updated about how the work was progressing. I'd absolutely work with them again.

Great experience from the moment I first contacted E/R Electric. I needed to move the location of an old chandelier and install a new one. Eddie understood exactly what I wanted and even asked for a photo of the old chandelier’s location to come fully prepared for the job. My building also requested insurance which they have so you know you are in good hands. I will definitely hire again for future electrical needs.

I have used Eddie as my electrician for over 5 years. He has added new outlets, rewired main electric boxes, Run compete new wiring for a whole home renovation etc. He is detail oriented, very organized, and very easy to work with. Highly recommend for any electrical needs.

Eddie and his assistant from E R Electric were a pleasure to work with. He always responded to emails, calls, & texts immediately. He answered all questions thoroughly and honestly, and was very friendly, accommodating and most importantly prompt. His written quote was thorough and transparent. The price on the quote that we agreed upon is what I paid. He handled everything with permitting & codes with fidelity. I was having my electric panel upgraded from 100amp to 200 amp. It's old location was behind an oil tank and simply replacing it would not pass code. Eddie found solutions to the problem by moving the panel to a new accessible location and did a neat and efficient job of moving all the cables and mounting the new panel. The exterior meter replacement also looks great. Even with such a thorough job, they worked quickly and got it done in about 6 hours. They were very willing to take COVID-19 precautions when interacting. Overall Excellent experience.

They were great. Not only did they finish the original work , they had plenty of time for other stuff. No dragging their feet. They do great work!

These guys were responsive, fast, and clean. They were in and out within an hour or so, and they installed everything perfectly, moved our smoke detector, and even patched the ceiling hole from the old light fixture by reusing bits of drywall from their installation. They were perfect.

Excellent - Prompt réponse to request, clear guidance of how to prepare, fair price, and super efficient (took <30 minutes) and they mopped floor and tidied up too. Professional, friendly, and competent. Definitely will count on them for future electrician needs. Thanks Eddie and Steve.

It was great. They reached out and fit be in. They were quick and meticulous. The two split up and did all the replacement dimmer switches. One was changing from a standard switch to a dimmer switch. They were complete within an hour and cleaned up everything. I would use them again and again.
