They came out and up sold me to a full home surge protector. They did good. I was only expecting to pay around $150-$200 because I only needed an outlet, so it was a little more than I wanted to spend but they did good.

Eddie was fantastic! The guys showed up right on time spent a couple minute reviewing the work and then divided and conquered everything we wanted done. They were really easy to chat with and very professional. They even stayed a little longer than expected to make sure everything was done. Overall I was really impressed with the work and will certainly be hiring him again in the near future for some other projects.

I first contacted E/R Electric on 11/28/14 with a description of the work to be done, location of the job & a time frame in which tasks must be done. Eddie got back to me right away & we settled upon a mutually convenient date & time. At that time I enhanced the scope of the work to include Eddie looking at some tasks for our condo as a whole but stressed that my job was the priority & was to be done that day. We had additional contact on 4 occasions both through Angie's List & personal text firming up details & an estimate of pricing. I suggested that we talk on the phone to clarify everything & although Eddie gave me a # & good time to call, he returned my call via e-mail. We confirmed that the work would be done the day of this appointment (replacing 2 lighting fixtures & moving or removing a sconce fixture). Eddie e-mailed the night before confirming our appointment. On 12/17 Eddie texted to say that he was tied up at another job but was still coming. When I asked for firmer timing Eddie stated that he was leaving the other job & would be with us in 1/2 hour & indeed, he was. This was 1 hour after our scheduled time. Eddie looked at my work & at the work that would be done for the condo. All the while assuring me that my work would be done that day & that he had everything he needed. He was knowledgable & pleasant. Eddie expressed concern re: parking & we suggested that he could use a space in back of our building. Eddie left to move his van. About 15 minutes later I received a text from him stating that he was unable to find a place to park & that the space we suggested didn't work. He suggested we reschedule for the following Mon. or Tues. I immediately texted back stating that we could move our car providing him w/2 spaces at the rear of our building & also that if he got a ticket I would pay for it. I let him know that we were out of town for the days he suggested. Then I waited, wondering if he was coming back. Eddie finally texted me back 1/2 hour later saying hadn't seen my texts & that he was on 93. He left with out giving me even a minute to make alternate suggestion or for me to confirm whether his suggested times would work for me. He offered no apology at this time. Eddie knew that he would be parking in the South End. He made no requests for us to supply him with parking in any of our contacts. I have never had any workman not be prepared for parking in the city. Eddie just wanted to get home (he lives in NH) & he was running late due to his inept scheduling. I found him to be unprofessional & to ultimately have no sense of responsibility or customer service. I found my experience w/Eddie disappointing & will not be using him.

Several back and forth email exchanges, yet E/R/ Electric was unable to provide me with specific appointment date either on my selected days or on any other days that they could have chosen that I would have accepted. They just told me that the coupon was good for six months and that they were all booked now and would get back to me soon with availability. I was glad I asked Angies list for a refund since their refund policy only works for 30 days. No set appointment date didn't work for me.

Very efficient. Two guys came and within 50 minutes, changed 13 outlets and installed a new ceiling lighting fixture.

They did come back once to change the plug on the washing machine itself. I was happy that they were able to come out on a Saturday. They're very kind and absolutely right on top of everything. They're licensed and insured and I'm confident in their abilities. I am planning on having him come back to do additional lighting and electrical work. Their pricing is more than fair. I couldn't speak more highly of them as to the type of people they are and to the quality of the work that they do.

EXCELLENT.........OUTSTANDING.......CUSTOMER FRIENDLY. I got the special 2 hours for $160.00. Therefore, I was paying for the time they worked. No lie they ran back and fouth to their truck each time, saving me me money and I liked that. They did something that most trade people do not do....they closed my door each time they went out to their truck. I will use their serviecs again and will tell friends of their out standing work.

I did not go with his deal due to this company being booked until after sometime in Dec. I have safety concerns and need someone sooner

Guys were on time. Did the job to my expectations and cleaned up their mess before leaving.

They were great. They texted us when they were on their way. They arrived on time ready to work. The assessed the jobs. They did them both very well and quickly. They cleaned up afterward. Left the place spic and span. They were very professional. And the results were perfect.

Eddie was fantastic. He gave a quote and we scheduled a time within 24 hours for him to visit via text message. He showed up exactly on time, was careful removing and replacing the lamp, and even lent me the ladder so I could patch and paint the ceiling where he removed the fan (I had to go to Home Depot to get the right paint). I would definitely hire him again.

Eddie is wonderful! He's extremely professional and knowledgeable. Eddie upgraded our electric to 200 amp service. He pulled the necessary permits, worked with the power company, and did the necessary demo and installation. He is fast and thorough. He completed this project in about 4 hours. This is the second time I've worked with him. On both occasions his rates were competitive, he quickly assessed and understood what needed to be done, and he finished the job faster than the time he estimated. Eddie is very responsive and uses email to communicate. This works so well - you don't need to leave phone messages and wait for callbacks. Send the email and Eddie will respond as soon as he can - usually same day. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Eddie and his assistant are the best. Excellent communication, always on time, quick & efficient, reasonable prices. I've had them work on my home on 3 separate occasions and will definitely have them back for future projects.

Eddie is a very nice guy. He is also highly responsive by text and e-mail -- a huge plus for me personally, since I work a busy job during the day and can't often contact contractors during 8-4 pm. He was good about working with us to install what we wanted, but also offering his opinions on what would make sense in the attic for lighting. His work was neat and clean, and he was thoughtful about the placement of, and type of, switch used to turn on the attic lights. I would recommend him without hesitation. I also note that he was willing to be competitive on his price and match that quoted by another electrician.

Eddie and his assistant were very professional, polite and easy to work with. He arrived on time in the morning and worked efficiently to get everything done and did it well. I would definitely call him again for future electrical needs.

Eddie got back to me right away, came by promptly, and looked at my roof and my electrical system. He took the time to answer all my questions and I was very impressed with his professionalism. He quickly sent me a very reasonable quote. Ultimately, I decided on a different solution which involved gutter work but I would not hesitate to call ER electric in the future.

I can't say enough good things about E/R. This is the second time we have used them and they are outstanding! They are efficient, reasonably priced, professional, and the quality of their work is outstanding.

They answered my call promptly, showed up when they said they would and did all work in an efficient and timely manner.

It went very well. ER schedules the visit at a mutual convenient time. Calls if earlier works for you. Arrives on time and does quality and honest work. We had a small job that they got back to us very quickly, which was not the case with 2 other electricians. Both visits wer on time and quickly done. This was the first time we used ER but if we have any other electrical issues we will be call ER Electric and know that the work will get done well and in a timely fashion
