Eddie and his partner showed up on time, and worked super fast. The speed in which they worked did not at all impact the high quality of their work. I had a bathroom light fixture changed out, a new GFI outlet installed, and a ceiling fan changed out. Literally everything was done in 1.25 hours and I am very happy with the work. I would definitely use him again! Both were very professional and provided high quality work.

Eddie and his partner came to the house and after a quick greeting and explanation of exactly what I wanted they began work immediately. They were so fast and knowledgable it really was very impressive. Their quality of work was not only functional, but very aesthetic. We ran a quick test to make sure everything worked and it did!!! They cleaned up their work space of ALL debris and they departed with hand shakes and smiles. The best part of the experience is that they completed ALL work in the allotted time and no additional money needed to change hands. They didn't even charge us for the materials that they used ( it wouldn't have been much, but still very surprising). If you are in Boston or the surrounding area I can't say enough great things about this company!!!!

Eddie and his fellow worker Giovanni were on time, very friendly and very efficient. As a matter of fact I have never seen two people work so quickly and I am an interior designer and have seen a lot of workers on the job site! They were concerned about how I felt about the work and they were very respectful of my home, taking out the trash that had been created by the work. I cannot recommend them enough. If they keep working like this, these guys will have a very successful future. Don't hesitate for a second to hire E/R Electrical.

Eddie came within 24 hours of contacting him. He figured out the problem quickly and fixed it. Nice guy, very professional; I'll definitely call him next time we need an electrician.

Working with Eddie was a great experience. Our central A/C was broken, and a service technician came to fix it. In the process, he noticed that the plastic was melted at one of the contact points in our A/C disconnect box. He recommended that we get an electrician to take a look at that ASAP, as it could be a fire hazard. This was on the morning of Wed, 6/24. Since we were leaving for vacation on Sat, 6/27, we were hoping to find someone to come same day if possible, or latest on Thursday 6/25. I called and/or e-mailed probably 5 or 6 different electricians that I found on Angie's list. Of all of them, only Eddie responded same day. He texted me back to my cell and asked me to e-mail him with all the details of what we wanted done. I explained the problem via e-mail, and he indicated that he was finishing up a job on the north shore, but could come the next day (Thursday). We agreed that he would come between 1-3pm, and that he'd call my wife when he was on his way over. On Thursday, Eddie called to let my wife know he was coming, and he actually showed up a few minutes early. He very quickly saw the problem I had described, had the part with him to replace the disconnect box, and did so in a few minutes. In the process, he left the old one for my wife to show me the extent of the damage, and he also explained to my wife what she needed to do regarding the circuit breakers and air handler power switches inside the house. His whole visit was about 45 minutes in total. He charged us for the visit and for the replacement part. Just doing some searching online, I'm thinking maybe he built in some markup on the parts, but the total cost was still reasonable. Since I had not been home during his visit, I e-mailed Eddie that evening asking if he felt confident that he was able to diagnose the problem and that his work would solve it. He wrote back within 10 minutes, and shared details about what he thought caused the problem (water seeping into the old box, allowing an arc / melting to take place). He also indicated that the new box contained better seals that would resist water, so everything should be all set. All in all, Eddie was very responsive, adaptable, prepared, thorough and empathetic. We would not hesitate to use him again should we have another need.

Everything went very well. Eddie and his partner showed up on time, worked the entire time paid for, and cleaned up thoroughly afterward- even patching the plaster where they needed to run new wiring. They were very pleasant and professional.

They were very responsive with communication with appointment confirmation and arrival time. They actually arrived 2 hours earlier and called to confirm the new time. They worked quick and cleaned up the area upon completion. The job took less time than I expected, but Im totally satisfied. I purchased a 2 hour electrical Angie Deal and it took less than an hour to complete. I had no other electrical jobs at the current time. I plan to use them real soon for upcoming projects.

I purchased the 2 hours for $160 deal. Eddie and his partner arrived right on time and immediately set to work. I was very impressed with how quickly they tackled all of our projects. They were professional, extremely efficient and they cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely recommend them for any electrical needs.

They were very good. They worked hard and fast, and tried to everything in the time allotted. I did pay them extra to stay a little longer and finish up. They even cleaned and replaced the bulbs in a two-story hanging fixture that even they could barely reach on their tallest ladder.

Provider had a last min thing that came up that he had to reschedule. He then contacted me after and made sure he came the next morning at 730am to fit me in. I appreciated that. Very clear he cared about customers being happy with his services. So that's always a good sign.

First of all, I HIGHLY recommend LED lights for recessed and under cabinet lighting. The brightness and uniformity surpassed incandescent lighting (not to mention saving on electricity and no heat) and, unlike CFL, they turn on right away! Secondly, the bottom line of this review is that, despite some issues with communication prior to the start of the project, I HIGHLY recommend E R Electric for electrical work. They are competent, reasonably priced and professional. Here are the details: For this project, we got a total of four bids. ER came in significantly below the other bids, and we felt that he would do a good job so we decided to go with ER. It was easy to get a hold of Eddie for the initial estimate. He came three days later and spent a total of ten minutes sizing up the job. He was professional and courteous, but we felt he was kind of in a hurry. It was a bit more challenging to get a hold of Eddie to set up the appointment for the work. He didn't answer my calls so the best way to communicate with him was via emails. He or his wife Laura usually got back to me within 2-3 days. Due to his busy schedule, we were able to schedule the work only 17 days later. Since I was responsible for buying my own lights, I had to get his advice several times on what to buy. Again, it was difficult to get a hold of him. He didn't call me back but responded to me by email, with 2-3 day lag time. We understand that he was very busy. On the day of the appointment, his wife called and left a message that he got two flat tires on the way to my house so we had to reschedule. Eddie tried to be flexible to squeeze me in the following week. Eddie and his helper arrived on time at 8:30AM on the day of the appointment. They got to work right away, first at the recessed lights. They moved some of the furniture out of the way so they don't get dirty from the ceiling work. They covered the remaining furniture with drop cloths. They worked fast and looked like they really knew what they where doing. They asked me questions and explained to me what they were doing, which was great in keeping me informed. One issue we encountered was that the office ceiling did not provide them with space to run the wires so they had to drill holes every 18 inches on the ceiling. The additional work increased the cost by $150, but it seemed reasonable for two people working an additional 45 minutes. Afterwards they were nice enough to patch the holes, which wasn't part of their job. Unfortunately, they ran out of time at 4PM so they had to come back the following week to do the under cabinet lights. They did a great job there too. In summary, these hard working guys did a beautiful job on both the recessed and the under cabinet lights. Due to their very busy schedule, it was frustrating to get a hold of them and schedule the work in a reasonable amount of time. So my recommendation is to schedule early with them to get your job done. But they do quality work and worth waiting for.

Eddie came on time with an assistant. He was friendly and efficient and finished the job faster than I'd expected even though there was an unforeseen complication. He charged me exactly his (reasonable) estimate. I am totally satisfied and plan on hiring him in the future.

These guys ( 2 workers for 1hr or 1 worker for. 2hrs) were GREAT. Arrived a few minutes early and wasted no time. Came to the door, introduced themselves, accepted the parts I provided (fixtures and bulbs), and went to work. On time, clean ,efficient,polite and professional......everything you want in a service provider!!

I prepaid for a 2 hours of electric work in an Angie's List special. This provider scheduled me about a month out and when the date of the appointment finally came, he got into a car accident on the way to my house about an hour before the appointment, which I had stayed home from work for. An accident could happen to anyone, but he was going on vacation after that so he rescheduled me another 3 weeks out I think. Then I called the evening before to confirm and he said because I didn't confirm the date prior he gave the appointment to someone else. So, now I couldn't get my money back from Angie's List because it was over a month. So I had to use a credit with another provider, who was Foley Electric. Foley came on time and did a great job with no delays.

I bought a 'Big Deal' on Angies's list. I called and was easily able to schedule my appointment. On the day of service, Eddie called to say they were running early and inquired if they could come early. They arrived and immediately set to work. It work absolutely clear that they knew what they were doing and that they were good at working together. They efficiently swapped out the dining room ceiling / light combo and moved on to the deck fixture. They quickly diagnosed the problem, and at my husband's request ran a couple of safety tests. They repaired the problem, installed the new fixture and were gone in about 2 1/2 hours. Eddie didn't even charge me any additional $ for some parts needed to complete the job properly.
