I called him with a problem (water damage in a wired smoke detector) and by the time he got here, I had a list of other electrical mysteries that had been building up around the house. Eddie was prepared with all the extra parts he needed, and fixed all of them in the first hour. We made an appointment to fix the last problem in a few weeks. I'm so happy to have found such a talented and friendly electrical expert. I highly recommend his work.

I had called around to several electricians before landing on E/R, and had been so disappointed by the lack of follow-up for a relatively small job like ours. Eddie was exactly what I had been hoping for: an electrician who returned inquiries promptly, provided an estimate up front and scheduled me for his first available opening which was just 48 hours after I called. Very well. I needed to get the parts but Eddie was good about answering emails while I was shopping at Home Depot. They came, were prompt, cleaned up.

We've used ER Electric before, so we knew they did good work. Eddie is excellent at communicating, whether by email or phone. We originally scheduled a date for them to come but Eddie contacted us to say he had to meet an inspector for a current job and needed to reschedule. We quickly worked out another time. He was actually able to come earlier that day which worked out well. Eddie came with two other electricians and installed the light in about 45 minutes. We're happy with the results and will use them again.

Bought an Angie's List deal for 2 hours of labor for $160. Communication was prompt and professional. Eddie asked all of the necessary questions prior to arriving to ensure that he had the equipment and parts upon arrival. Eddie and his partner arrived on time. When they arrived Eddie made sure that I understood that the deal was for 2 hours of labor total, and since he and his partner would be working together the deal would cover one hour of labor from two people. He told me the hourly rate they would charge if the work took longer, and ensured that I was OK with that prior to starting work. Before starting Eddie gave me two options: he could cut new outlet holes through tile which would be time-consuming and expensive, or he could re-use an existing receptacle hole and cut one new hole in the plaster above the tile which would be cheaper. Eddie showed me how each option would look and work. I decided to go with the cheaper option, and they completed the work quickly. Upon finishing he showed me what they had done, and demonstrated that both of the new receptacles were functioning properly both at the appliance end, as well as at the circuit breaker end (Eddie installed new AFCI/GFCI breakers for us and showed me that the breakers were operating properly). Great experience and very good price. I would hire Eddie again for electrical work in the future.

My electrician called in sick, and ER Electric saved the day, responding within 24 hours to get this work done. Eddie and his partner were professional in every way, and did quality work. They were punctual, quoted the price upfront, and worked efficiently.

He didn't show up for my 2nd appointment and he was unprofessional, only contacting me via email. Every time I tried to get a hold of him it went to an answering service and he never picked up the phone. The first time they came out, they were friendly guys, but they rushed through the job and it felt like the work was rushed as well.

I had purchased a Big Deal for two hours of work, but we are already planning to have them back to work on a couple of other projects -- splitting the electricity so that the AC unit can run safely, for one, and also installing a couple of more more accessible outlets. I was especially impressed that Eddie did not suggest he do extra work when there was a simpler cost-free solution. I very much appreciated that!
