He's very prompt and gets back to me quickly. He comes on time, he's friendly and professional. He always teaches me something extra about locks, and he doesn't mind answering a few extra questions if a door is not closing properly. I would recommend him to others and I would use him again in the future.

He is prompt. He is reliable. He is polite. He is honest as the day is long in July. He is wonderful. He is so straightforward and honest. If you are locked out and it is snowing, he will be there. If you think about it, the locksmith could really creep you out. He is so straightforward about what the burglars can do and burglars can't do. He is just great. He is efficient. I have two houses. I have to change the locks once the tenant changes. He just comes up and takes care of it. He has always done it. If stupid things like lockout happen, he will be great. His price is average. He is no more or no less than anybody else.

I called Mike In the late afternoon for an emergency situation. I left a message and was called back within 10 minutes. He was booked up, but was willing to call his next booking to see if that person would re-schedule to accomodate my emergency. That person agreed, and Mike was at my house within 15 minutes. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He put my lock back together with all the million tiny pins and springs that had exploded all over. He adjusted the lock untill he was satisfied that it ran smoothly. He was also very easy to talk to. I am very satisfied with his professionalism and wish all service people had his ethics.

Mike Crowley was personally referenced by a friend when I said I needed a locksmith. I had also checked on Angie's list after I had Mike's name and number. I called at 8:00 AM on Thursday morning and spoke with Mike and explained the problem. He said he would be at the house by 9 AM. He arrived early and removed the lock mechanism from the front door and then took it out to our kitchen table so he could open it while I was there to check what was wrong. We found the broken spring wire inside and he said he would be taking back to his shop to repair it but should be back by noon. Mike arrived back at the house around 11 AM and put the mechanism back into the door. While testing how it worked he noticed that the key used to lock the front door did not turn smoothly in the lock cylinder, so he took out the cylinder and replaced the tumbler pieces. Mike very personable and he made sure that I understood what was wrong in each case and what had to be done to correct the problem, Based upon my experience, I would strongly recommend Mike for any locksmith needs

Mike came to my house to rekey the garage door. While he was there he noticed that the mechanism bars werent sliding into spot properly, so he fixed the mechanism for me so the door would lock at no extra charge. Most locksmiths would have probably rekeyed the door , taken their money and run. I couldnt be happier with the service and result at the price. I will definately use their service again.

It was GREAT! Had originally had another locksmith (from the yellow pages) come out to let us into the house when we got locked outside with our 5 month-old. The locksmith ended up being sketchy and totally gouged us on the price (over $200). We wanted to redo the locks with someone we trusted and, based on his Angie's List ratings, went with Claremont Lock. He fit us in in short order, came exactly when he said he would, and went way above and beyond the call of duty. He not only replaced the lock, and made extra keys for me, but provided lots of education and advice on our particular lock, and ways to protect ourselves in the future. He was friendly, amazingly helpful, and I felt from moment 1 that I was in the best of hands.

He is everything you want to have in a contractor. He is responsive, he is friendly, he is easy to work with, and he is reasonable and fair. If you can get something cheaper at the hardware store down the street, he’ll tell you that you can get it for less. You rarely find that in a contractor. Any time I need a locksmith I call him. I even had him fix a door for me and he did it for free.

The actual service was simple--re-keying a pair of locks. What I liked was the approach--not just prompt and efficient, but willing to talk about locks and security with tips for handling my own problems.

Mike showed up early or on-time for every appointment. He explained what he was doing and why he was doing things to correct the problems. He also made extra keys for me on the spot. I guess I had such low expectations because of past experiences with other locksmiths. I did not know locksmiths could be so knowledgeable helpful and professional. Mike was a pleasure to do business with and I strongly recommend him.

Mike couldn't come out right away, but it wasn't an emergency so that was fine with us. He was very friendly and nice with our kids. He seemed quite knowledgeable. Gave us additional security advice about keeping our house safe. I would use him again without hesitation.

Mike did great, fast work, convinced me of the importance of dead-bolting, showed me some techniques burglars use to get into a house, and was a pleasure to talk to while he worked. He showed obvious knowledge and skill in his field and educated me about general security issues he knew of in my area (times of year and times of the week burglars are more active, etc.). He also suggested a few non-lock precautions to improving the general security of the house. All in all, very professional, skilled, and friendly. I highly recommend him.
