Description of Work: This is my first bad experience with this company, which we have used for years. I asked them to clean the cold-water inlet screen on the Navien on-demand water they had installed, and they sent over someone who was unfamiliar with the unit and needed the manual to assist him. When he finished, the unit leaked. During this first visit I also asked him to show me the screens on the kitchen faucet head/sprinker they had also installed so that I could clean them when needed. He did, but reassembled the unit so that it also leaked. The leaks we only discovered later. The kitchen leak wet all the cleaning supplies under the sink, and after tightening the faucet head I cleaned that one up. The next day a second plumber was sent to correct the water heater leak, but he knew nothing about the Navien and did nothing. Two days later the first plumber came back and repaired the heater leak. For all of this we were charged $254, no parts, only labor. (Incidentally, the Navien is so complicated that cleaning the filter, which any homeowner ought to be able to do, requires outside help, at least in my case.)

Description of Work: Our hot water heater broke on Christmas morning. Kirkland Shaw had someone there within 2 hours. They tried to get a hot water heater immediately, eventually getting one and getting it installed a couple of days later. They did everything they could to help us with the situaion. I have used them in the past for smaller plumbing jobs. They have always been responsive and done good work for us. Tony DuBon
