Kirkland and Shaw Plumbing & Heating Inc

Went with a 12-year American water heater model. The service was on time and professional. Kirkland took the old heater and I guess they dealt with warranty aspect.

It was a very good experience. They came when they said they were going to come. The plumber was very efficient and knew what he was doing. I was pleased.

We have used their services before. They are efficient, kept to their estimate, and installed the toilet the same day that they called to schedule and were done by noon. They did a great job.

NEVER HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR! We bought a house and asked Kirkland and Shaw to come look at a plumbing problem. The plumber seemed annoyed at coming out. Furthermore, once here he couldn't be bothered to look around the house and then suddenly declared he knew what the problem was. Based on his diagnosis of the problem we continued other work on the house, planning on doing the plumbing last. Now that we discovered the real problem, we have to rip out some of the work we already serious money on. When we asked the plumber about the misdiagnosis he became angry and unprofessional. Maybe some of Kirkland and Shaw's plumbers are okay, but the one we got was a dud and has ending up costing us quite a bit of money without having even hired him.

Terrific. I felt I got great service, when expected, and wasn't taken for something more than necessary.

It went very well. They were polite and professional on the phone and in person. Although the job was not complicated, they did it well and efficiently. The plumber arrived on time, answered all my questions and did his work well. The price was reasonable too.

It was the best experience I have had with a plumber. Came promptly and at the time they said they would. Andy was courteous, pleasant and left the area spotless.

He came immediately after I called them. Steve and his dad have owned the company for fifty years now and they are skilled plumbers. He also does preventative maintenance for me and lets me know what to do to prevent things form occurring. I really like to use them and I call them for all my plumbing needs.

They were very quick to come over. It was a short term thing. They were very punctual. They told me they were going to be at my house at a certain hour, and they got there on time. The quality of their work was good.

They are very professional, fairly priced and exceptionally competent. They are very nice people and you don t mind having them in your home. I would highly recommend them to others in my area.

We called one day and they were here the next morning. We will be using them again for some additional work, for which they gave an estimate. He repaired the hose spigot very quickly. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent from start, telephone contact was friendly and knowledgeable to the finish, young man arrived exactly when expected, worked quickly and cleanly and was both friendly and polite and cheerfully worked around us. He finished in under two hours despite the need to make some unexpected adjustments because of the tight space available.

They were prompt and responsive when we called. They gave me the cost of the heater plus installation over the phone. They have done a lot of work in our house and they are reliable, prompt, and honest. A very good company!

Steve Kirkland did an excellent job with this project, which was complicated by a number of factors, including a difficult site to work on. He did not implement the most expensive solution but one that worked very well and within our budget.

There response time is great and everyone is nice. I think their pricing is good.

Excellent. The plumber was on time. He heard the entire problem (that the leak starts 10 minutes after the second floor shower had been used). He explained that he had seen similar problems previously and opened the shower controls and found a leak. He replaced the part.

The plumber arrived on schedule and was very professional. He diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly.

THE PLUMBER WAS PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, PROVIDED A DETAILED EXPLANATION OF THE REPAIRS MADE AND SHOWED ME WHY A PART NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. HE ATTEMPTED TO FIX THE STOPPER IN OUR SINK, WHICH COULD NOT BE DONE, AND GAVE US INSTRUCTIONS ON WHAT TO LOOK FOR SHOULD WE DECIDE TO REPLACE IT. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND WILL USE THEM AGAIN.

THEY WERE ON TIME, HAD ALL OF THE PARTS NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE JOBS AND CONFIRMED WHAT WAS TO BE DONE BEFORE BEGINNING.

GOOD. EXPENSIVE. FAST. TWO NICE GUYS WHO LET ME BE NOSY AND SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON. THEY HAD A SENSE OF HUMOR AND GOT ALONG WELL. THEY TESTED THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS BEFORE THEY LEFT AND MADE ADJUSTMENTS. WE HAD HOT WATER WITHIN THE HOUR. P.S. THE WORK WAS DONE IN FEBRUARY 2005 WHEN IT WAS FREEZING COLD.

EXPERIENCE WAS EXCELLENT. K&S HAVE BEEN OUR LOCAL PLUMBER FOR YEARS, AND EVEN THOUGH THEIR PRICES TEND TO THE HIGH SIDE, THEIR WORK IS EXCELLENT, CLEAN, AND RELIABLE. THIS LARGE INSTALLATION WAS TRUE TO THEIR FORM. COST WAS NO HIGHER THAN OTHER BIDS, LESS THAN SOME. REAL TEST WILL BE NEXT WINTER, BUT SO FAR WE ARE VERY PLEASED, AND PLEASED THAT WE WENT WITH THEIR BID.

WHEN I CALLED, I WAS ABLE TO SPEAK TO A PERSON WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE. MOST FIRMS USE AN ANSWERING SERVICE OR MACHINE WHERE YOU LEAVE YOUR MESSAGE AND WAIT FOR A CALL BACK. THE PERSON I SPOKE TO WAS VERY HELPFUL AND RESPONSIVE. THEY WERE ABLE TO HANDLE THE JOB ON A EMERGENCY BASIS. THE PLUMBER AND ASSISTANT WHO CAME WERE VERY PROMPT, COURTEOUS,AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM QUICKLY.

KIRKLAND & SHAW'S MAN WAS POLITE, EFFICIENT AND HIS WORK WAS EXCELLENT. THEIR CHARGES WERE FAIR AND I WOULD CALL THEM AGAIN FOR ANY OTHER WORK NEEDED.
