Description of Work: We will NOT be using Mr. Leary's services again. For the simple task of flipping a tripped circuit breaker that required less than ten minutes of his worker's time, we were charged full price. Our arguments that the amount billed was excessive fell on dear ears; Mr. Leary insisted emphatically that the full amount be paid and threatened legal action (!!!) in a call to my wife if any lesser amount were made. Our older home needs much additional electrical work. If Mr. Leary had been reasonable and cooperative, we would have supported his firm with this business; because of his obstinate and insulting attitude, we will look elsewhere for a more professional service provider.

Description of Work: The pull chain on a light came off for the umpteenth time, and Frank came by in a few days to make the fix. He suggested creating a regular on-off switch, since the price diff. was @$40. He did the necessary drilling, reconfiguring in about one hour, and cleaned up nicely afterwards.

+ -1 moreDon't ever use this guy! Twice he didn't show up when he said he was going to, and twice he showed up unannounced and unscheduled, without calling. Completely unprofessional. I also found out the price he quoted me was 50% higher than I ended up paying.
Description of Work: I called the contractor and we agreed on a time to do the work. He didn't show up on the first day he supposed to, but showed up the next day. I work from home so my schedule is somewhat flexible, and when he did show up he just 'evaluated' the situation and said he would be back, so we agreed on another time. He didn't show up the second time, and then showed up AGAIN on a different day. This time I was headed out, and told him that this wasn't going to work. He told me I 'didn't really have a choice'. I told him I did, and then shut the door. He proceeded to screem swears at me through the door and windows, calling me a 'f king b ch', a 'g'damn c t', and everything else.
