It's a small company. He was very cooperative, in terms of scheduling. Very, very pleasant to deal with. I called several places, I did a search on the computer. He really stood out. The other places would say, "Oh, I don't schedule things. I'll have to take your number and have so-and-so get back to you." And then they wouldn't get back to me. Or they'd say they don't want to come to Cambridge because it was too long of a drive. I called five or six places and they were very unpleasant. It ended up coming down to this company, Crystal Clean, that seemed reasonable in terms of scheduling, in terms of not making me wait weeks. I was the person at home and he actually came and did our home. He was just really excellent and a delight to deal with. And we're going to have a whole bunch of things that need cleaned and without a doubt I will be going back to him. I also thought his prices were very good. They were either on-par, competitive, or slightly lower. I didn't really research that very, very heavily. When I would call each place I would ask, "How much do you charge to do one couch and one 8x10 rug, for example." Some of them wouldn't even come to clean just one thing. So if you just want one couch upholstery cleaned, they wouldn't even come over to do it. I think he was absolutely terrific and did a great job. And as I said, I planned, without doubt, use him again. The sooner the better, once we make up our minds what we are doing with our living room. And I might have him come do our bedroom rugs. He left with us a spray bottle with the solution he uses when cleaning to get a stain here or there when you don't want to have the whole couch cleaned, you can hang onto this and it will take care of it". It was amazing. He's a relatively young man, I think he's probably under 40. He was very professional and just a delight. He was punctual. He made sure he had clear what I wanted done. When he was done, he handed me this spray bottle and said, "This is what I used on your particular fabric, so if you have any little problems you can use it." I thought it was above and beyond. He is very smart. I would have given him straight As, even if he hadn't left it. My husband came home an hour later and I said, "What a great company! This is it. We've got our company." If we had friends looking for this, I would tell them to save their time calling other companies and use them. I just hope he doesn't get too busy. He happened to be the owner/operator. He does have other people, but since I was in a timeline trying to squeeze this in, it had to do with a renovation we were doing, I didn't think I was going to have a long wait, you go online, do a bunch of searches, and I'd find someone. This wasn't a precious couch, so I wasn't too worried, but when I reached him and I said the reason I am trying to get this done in a week or the next two weeks is because we're about to have an upstairs bathroom totally gut, renovated, and I may want to have this sofa to sleep on every so many nights because they'd be upstairs sawing and stuff, and he came himself because I believe he was responding to my circumstances. He really is outstanding.

There were no issues whatsoever. The work was excellent quality and was completed quickly. The price was very reasonable. This was the second time I had used Crystal Cleaning and I have no doubt that I will use them again in the future.

Chris was prompt, professional and did an excellent job. He was very reasonably priced and left us with a bottle of his spot cleaner. We would recommend him and hire him again without hesitation.

Very satisfied. Chris Hickey arrived within the appointed time slot. He was very courteous and professional, and took exceptional care to wear "booties" over his shoes so as not to track-in outside dirt. Drop cloths were placed under his equipment to protect our carpets. The chairs were very light colored "Ultrasuede" that had become very soiled over several years [newsprint etc.] and he put a lot of effort to make them like new. He has also done carpet and upholstery cleaning for our condo association with similar good results and professionalism. I found him very accommodating and good to work with and would highly recommend Chris Hickey of Crystal Clean [877-272-1995 Burlington, MA. While I have no direct experience with his work in these areas, I would believe the attitude and diligence seen on my work, and the condo association's, would readily carry over.

Had my carpets cleaned today and can't recommend any higher. A+ A few years ago the carpets done by another company and they left them not able to get them looking clean. Today the carpets look brand new! The quaility of the work, the professional manner is totally wonderful. Wonderful job...thank you!

Fantastic! I discovered while vacuuming wool moths in my expensive oriental. I called crystal cleaning on a Friday - after providing the sizes of all our orientals - I received a quote and an appointment for Tuesday morning. I could not be happier across the board with the genuine care and quality of the service Scott at crystal cleaning provided. I will now have my carpets cleaned once a year especially knowing how reasonable it is to do so!

Excellent. Chris Hickey returns calls and for both appointments was there on time. The first time he was away and one of his associates did the carpet cleaning. The second he and an associate were there and everything came out amazing. His prices are reasonable and I highly recommend calling Chris. You won't be disappointed. I found his company on Angie's List. Highly satisfied.

Called Monday of that week and needed the cleaning done within two weeks because we were having a party. The owner , Chris, indicated his schedule was full ,but could squeeze us in that Friday at 8AM. Chris arrived on time with an assistant and went straight to work and finished in just over an hour. They did an outstanding job at a reasonable price. I will definitely use Chris again.

If I could give a grade higher than an A for responsiveness I would. After another cleaning service failed to show up Chris worked with me to show up early before our movers got there and got our carpets all cleaned. They turned out great. Chris was easy to get in touch with and schedule, and performed a great job. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone in the future.

We managed to schedule a cleaning within 3 days of notice before moving into the house. Chris gave us a rough estimate for the basement cleaning, and actual price was less than what he had quoted after he saw the size of our basement. Chris was polite and punctual and did an impeccable job with our carpet. We had pet stains, rust stain and paint stains but Chris were able to removed those stains. Our carpet now looks and feels new. I would definitely use Crystal Cleaning for any carpet or upholstery cleaning. We are definitely happy to have a professional do the carpet cleaning instead of ourselves.

Very punctual, professional and pleasant. At the end I asked if they could clean the oriental carpet and they were very accommodating, even after they had removed the equipment. They inspected all the furniture, wore booties to protect my hardwood floors and not track dirt in.

Chris arrived at my home exactly on time. He covered his shoes when he entered the house and took a look at the areas that I wanted cleaned. I asked him if he could do a few extra areas in addition to what I discussed with him over the phone. He said he would try to get it done but had another appointment following mine. He got right to work and was very quiet and professional. When the job was complete, I found that he had finished all of the areas that I had asked for and had even gone above my request to spot clean some areas in the bedroom to a complete cleaning of that white carpet and it looks fantastic...just like new! He also did a great job getting three pieces of furniture in our family room nice and clean, far better than I was expecting, since they have been used every day for the past 13 years. They are perfectly clean now. Couldn't be more pleased! I would hire him again without hesitation.

Chris (the owner) was excellent. He was punctual, friendly, and neat. The carpets and couch look great after being cleaned.

He was very professional and did a great job. He wore covers on his shoes when he entered my home and was extremely careful while doing the cleaning. He left my cream colored couch looking almost brand new.

I have 2 kids, a dog, and a treadmill all of which cause multiple stains in my house. I called Crystal Clean to clean my carpets and was able to get an appointment quickly. They arrived when they said they would, and removed the grease stain below my treadmill and other spots on my carpets. They are completely professional, putting on shoe covers prior to entering the house. I will use them in the future and recommend them to anyone.

"Carpets look new" per my husband. He called as soon as the job was done, gushing about what an incredible job Crystal did. And the carpet in the common areas needed help...I plan on having Crystal come back on a regular basis to keep things in good shape. Great job, great value, great company.

Chris showed up on time and cleaned the chair well, even leaving behind a bottle of cleaning solution for upholstery/carpets. Fair price quoted via email; easy to set up an appointment--and the cost ended up being slightly less than what he'd quoted. What more can you ask for? Highly recommend.

Great, as usual. Very dedicated company

Chris was great. He was on time and very thorough. Chris cleaned 3 rooms 2 hallways and a set of stairs. And not only was it a great service but he also came in less than his original quote.

Chris and his team member were very punctual and polite. The cleaning was thorough and efficient. The item being cleaned was a full size micro fiber sectional. We have owned the couch for about 10 or so years, and spot cleaned it but this was the first time it was being professionally done. Chris was done in just about an hour, pillows included. The couch looks the best it has in years and smells great as well. I had him do an estimate for cleaning our bedroom rug before he left and I have already scheduled him to come back and do that rug for us next week. I would recommend his company to anyone looking for upholstery cleaning. I have no doubt the rug cleaning will go just as well.
