Chase plumbing replied to all of my emails and phone calls within 24 hours. Ian (Chase plumbing) - arrived on time and was very professional (covered shoes when working inside house, removed debris when left, mopped up water on floor, didn't try to up-sell jobs...etc). This is a great company and I would use them again without any hesitation.

Ian first came out to inspect our shower, which wasn't putting out enough hot water. He gave us a very reasonable set of estimates for different approaches we could take to solving the problem, and spent a very long in person and over email carefully and clearly explaining everything. We chose a medium-range option. He then returned promptly and installed an anti-scald valve, replacing our dual hot/cold valve. He was extremely professional (wore booties, cleaned up every speck of dust and debris), finished earlier than expected, and we haven't had any problems since!

Kitchen drain was clogged. We cleaned the trap and tried to open the drain by ourselves. It did not work out. I found Ian through the Angieslist. Since it was Sunday, I left a message through Angieslist's emailing system. It worked out. We got response promptly. He told me that he had schedule available for us the next day. He and his assistant showed up slightly late but it was acceptable. They went to work directly. It was a tough job and took them about 1 hr to open the drain which was much longer than the average. They were knowledgeable and keep the working area clean. We were very satisfied with their work and will keep they as our plumb contact for next service.

Had a good experience with Ian. Quality was very good. He came out on a holiday weekend to fix a leak we had in the sink. Slightly slow to get started on the project. Since he is very busy.

an Chisholm showed up early morning as agreed, went straight to work and had enough work done before I left for work that he could tell with high confidence that he would not need to open up the basement floor. The contract and estimate contained an extra $900 provision in case the connection to the main sewer line could not be made without jack-hammering the concrete floor and replacing the main sewer line around the connection point. The decision was entirely up to Ian and he decided the extra work was not required. It was a relatively simple job, but still it was nice to see that everything was done to perfection and that he even took the time to clean up the work area nicely after the job was completed.

I called ian explained problem as best as i could. He came out next day looked at the shower in the master bath explained it was a minor problem with the shower head showing me the problem an fixed the problem. I am currrently considering another plumbing project with Ian as I was completly satisfied with him and his work .

I had an old gas range in my kitchen. I ordered a new one from Home Depot and had it delivered to my house but the delivery people don't hook it up for you. You need to get a plumber to do that, so I called Chase Plumbing. I spoke with Ian the proprietor and scheduled an appointment for the following week. Ian the proprietor and an assistant (didn't catch his name) came. They disconnected the old gas range. This was a large stove that had a built-in space heater. They put a canvas dropcloth down to protect my floor from scratches, then they partially dismantled the range to make it narrow enough to fit through the exit, and they took it away. Ian removed the gas pipe & shutoff valve that had been for the old range, and connected a new valve and modern flexible gas pipe leading to the new range. He connected the new range, then tested that everything worked. Throughout the process I found Ian to be communicative, friendly and easy to work with.

I felt it was a fair price for the job they did. They responded well. They came on time. They did the work they said they would do. The transaction went seamlessly. I would recommend them.

I'm very happy with them. He was very professional. The price wasn't the cheapest, but it's all-inclusive. He is prompt, professional, organized, and polite. He is trustworthy in concern with money. He has done a free temporary fix to a valve until I have the money to do a complete fix.

Ian Chisholm (owner) is a top-notch plumber and was an absolute pleasure to work with. He did a rather complex heating system replacement/conversion for us, and despite the challenges of the job, he followed through on his commitment to provide us with an outstanding solution at a reasonable price. I had three other plumbers in to look at the job -- they wouldn't even touch it because of the complexity. Ian took the time to evaluate the current system and think through the possible solutions, and explained his plan in a very clear and understandable manner. The boiler and manifold assembly is nothing short of a piece of art (highly functional and efficient art) - everyone who sees it marvels at it. The job took longer than he had anticipated, yet he still held fast to his price commitment. In short, I would highly recommend Chase Plumbing for any type of plumbing needs you have. Professional, courteous, reliable, communicative, and fair are the words that most accurately describe their services.

He has only been in business for about a year. It is a small business that is very much in support of independent business. He is twenty eight and extremely polite. He came out and gave us a very good quote. He was timely and prompt with the work. I would definitely give him all A's.
