They got the job done, it was great.

Very professional and quality service. I had to reschedule several times (my fault, not theirs), and Peter Tomasetti was very patient with me throughout my many changes. When I explained what I wanted done, Peter recommended I buy an Angie's list coupon from him (3 rooms for $99) and then pay separately for the carpeted stairs to be done. Mark showed up a little early because he hadn't realized he was to call 30 minutes in advance so I can leave work to meet him at the house, but he patiently waited as I made my way over. He worked quickly and efficiently and did a great job. He also managed to not track in dirt like other contractors who had come over by then. Overall we were very pleased and would hire them again.

Awesome. The carpets hadn't been cleaned in years, I was amazed at how good they looked. Fantastic job on the chairs, we never thought the dirt would come out!

There were 2 people, but I only spoke with one and he was very cordial. They did a good job. They were businesslike and professional. My expectations were high, but they did the best they could. I purchased a coupon through Angie’s List and that was great. I wouldn’t hesitate to have them come again.

Two cleaners arrived promptly at the time scheduled. They surveyed all of the carpeting to be cleaned on both the first and second floors before beginning. They worked efficiently as a team bringing their equipment in and setting up. My first concern arose when they finished the cleaning of the wall-to-wall carpeting in all three upstairs rooms and a downstairs room, as well as two large area rugs in less than half an hour. I don't know whether this is normal, but it seemed almost too fast. I would have thought "cleaning" would have taken longer than the time to simply vacuum, but they moved fast. They were courteous and charged what they estimated - there were no "extras". When they left and the carpeting had dried some, I took a closer look at their work. The carpeting is not "new" (5 years old), but I found several places where the carpeting still had what appeared to be embedded dirt, which I was expecting to have been cleaned up. The cleaner in charge indicated that where one door was rubbing along the carpet, that situation sometimes dislodges some "carbon-like" particles from the hinges, and that there was one place in particular where he was unable to remove all of the "carbon". I have no reason not to believe him, but I also have no knowledge of that kind of situation and its effect on carpeting. All in all, I was disappointed that the carpets did not come out cleaner, but I'm willing to say that maybe my expectations were too high. If I were to have them again, I would pay closer attention while they were doing the work, and would have them work over the less clean areas more aggressively until I was satisfied that the carpets were as clean as they could be in the circumstances. While one could argue it was my own fault for not following them around and insisting on a more thorough attempt to clean the carpeting, it shouldn't be necessary for the customer to supervise the vendor - the vendor should do the job thoroughly in the first place without having to be prompted.

We are putting our house on the market and needed carpet restretching fast. I talked to a rep over the phone and explained the problem. He gave me a range of cost estimate over the phone and told me that a contractor would contact me. Herbert Campbell contacted me in a few hours and we set up an appointment for the next day. He arrived on time, surveyed the project, and got to work. He was professional, efficient, and friendly. The scope of the work was actually more than the estimate, but he stuck to the given price.

What I liked was that they called me the day before to remind me that they were coming, and if that was OK. They were extremely thorough and very professional on the phone. They arrived on time. They gave me a window of time and they were very punctual, very professional. They explained about the carpet treatment that they were using and how long it would take to dry. And they did a good job. I don't know what we paid, because my husband treated it. But my husband looks for bargains, so I would say the price was good.

AJ Rose did an excellent job beginning to end. Their communication was prompt, service friendly, and they worked with us diigently despite the small scale of the project. The installers were terrific- the whole thing looks great!

Very disappointed. I purchased an Angie's Big Deal from AJ Rose for a carpet cleaning. I tried to schedule an appointment in late 2012 but AJ Rose never got back to me. My coupon has now expired as of this week, so I essentially wasted my money purchasing the deal. Will not be wasting my time to reach out to them again.

They came with at least two people and were perfect. I bought an Angie's List Big Deal for this transaction but I paid a little extra for doing a little more.

We engaged AJ Rose for their $99 3 room special, but with the stairs and oriental rug, it totaled about $280 or so. I knew what the total cost would be over the phone prior to the service, so not a surprise. Mark and his crew member arrived on time, and immediately got to work in pre-treating the many stain and heavy traffic areas - we have 2 large Labrador dogs who are 'less than tidy'. Mark is very friendly and explained the process, and gave me a couple of interim updates for feedback. Even when still wet, the differences were instantly notable. They put a lot of effort into getting deep into the carpet, especially the stairs - quite a workout. They were done in a little over an hour, and while it will take 10 hours or so for the rugs to completely dry, I can say that I am very satisfied with their demeanor and work ethic.

It went very well. Team arrived on time and went right to work. We had removed most furniture except for the large heavier pieces. The job took just over an hour. Carpeting looks very nice.

I got the Angies coupon a second time and had them come right at the end of the year. The kids were at home and utter chaos abound on a day that was not running well. One, the guys showed up early and I was not home.No problem, they waited the 15 minutes until I got home for the scheduled appointment. They were there with smiles on and because they did my home once before and it was the same two great guys it went quick and efficiently. Kids moved out the way, they helped get things going. The dirt on the stairs was gone, all that tracking mud in and out, gone. When I began to say in my daughters room "Its gone, we took care of it!". I did a quick sweep through and everything was cleaned. Fast, efficient, kind and courteous crew.

Scheduled, arrived when promised, thorough job and clean up.

They came when they said they would and did a fast, efficient, and quality job. I will certainly use them in the future.

They did the three rooms and the furniture while they were here too.

After we took a sample home with us from the showroom (in Bedford) and decided on the make and color we wanted, we made a deposit and waited. We waited over a month just to schedule the work after the installer had come to measure and had given us an estimate. This waiting is the only thing I could fault in the whole transaction. When the installer - Shawn - came, he was efficient, careful and fast. The basement was full of furniture and books, etc., so the floor was installed on one day and half on the next day. In between, I moved stuff from one half of the basement to the other. The floor looks wonderful, there have been no problems with it and, based on our experience, we'd have no hesitation in going back to A.J.Rose for any flooring job.
