They were easy to deal with and they were always responsive. They came when they said they will come. They were reliable and did a great job. We even lost power during one of the installation when they needed power to do the work. They were very patient in waiting for the power to come back on but when they didn't, they were able to finish the job the next day without making us wait so that was very accommodating.

I purchased a big deal for AJ Rose Carpets & Flooring. I didn't have them do a third. They did a pretty good job in an area where there was lighter carpet. Unfortunately, the carpet didn't last but it wasn't because of them. They were nice enough. They did it really quick and I was happy.

The person who answers the phone was very professional. The day we had scheduled was just after the Boston Marathon Bombings when they shut down Watertown and all surrounding towns. They called to see if they could come earlier in the day because more and more roads were being closed. They were able to get here and get the work done despite such a crazy day. The carpets looked very nice and they were done quickly. The only issue is there was some misunderstanding over the cost and using the Angie's list voucher. I thought the cost was the total they gave me minus the $99 voucher but it was the cost in addition to the $99 voucher. Not sure which side the error was on but it may have been my own.

We converted from an oil fired boiler to a gas fired boiler. The old boiler had been removed as well as the old oil tank. The old floor was individual vinyl tiles. Many were missing, particularly where the old boiler was located and the old oil tank had been installed before the concrete floor was poured. As a result, the people who removed the tank just cut the legs of the tank off about 2-3 inches above the floor. In short the old floor was a mess. All of this was addressed by the installer. The gaps where the old tiles were missing were filled and the protruding legs of the old oil tank were pounded flush with the old floor. The sheet floor looks great. The installer was very professional,and exceptionally easy to work with. None of the difficulties mentioned above phased him. Would definitely use AJ Rose again.

The carpets were very difficult and had pet stains. It was excellent. I can't get over how well it turned out.

The guy that came did an amazing job. They're easy to talk to and they communicated well with their customers. They have a really lovely showroom. I didn't buy on their store because of the price that they charged was quite high.

The cleaning crew was on time, professional and extremely fast. The off-white carpet looks as good as new and they were able to remove a number of stains. We purchased the 3 rooms for 99 Angie's List Deal even though we only had one room because it was a better deal than just hiring them straight out. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

Went very well. Even cleaned some throw rugs at no extra charge. Have used them several times and recommended to friends.

A 2 man crew arrived within the promised time window. Both gentlemen were courteous and professional. They gave the areas to be cleaned a quick visual inspection and set off to start the work. They were done quicker than expected (35-40 minutes). Room 1 & 3: Good Room 2: Initially looked clean, but as the carpet dried dirt streaks appeared that weren't there beforehand. They had to return to redo that room and claimed it was leftover residue from a clogged vac. Stairs: Were left very wet and took over 24 hrs to dry (initial estimate was dry within 8 hrs). Most of the tracked dirt was lifted but much of it still remained. Overall: Quality was on par with the big franchise carpet cleaning companies. I'm glad they came back to redo the 2nd room, but wish it had been done right the first time.

He did it for the price I had purchased from Angie's list. The man who cleaned the floor was on time, very professional in his dealings with me, and did an excellent job.

The deal was $79 for 3 carpet areas. All I wanted done was the exposed areas of one bedroom and a 12 foot hallway. I asked the cleaner to include a3'x5' braided area rug in the bedroom. He charged me extra for the area rug even though I was asking for only 2 small areas to be cleaned. The rug also was dirty after cleaning. Despite this experience I might use Rose again because my prior experiences were positive.

Carpet cleaned through Big Deal. All went well. Very thorough and professional.

Pete who scheduled my appointment was very knowledgeable and this company called a day before to remind. they called to let you know that they are on their way. Carlos the cleaner showed up right on time. He is super friendly, professional and helpful. He went beyond his carpet cleaning duty to help me carry out an old shelf that is sitting in a closet, and he offered to help with stain remove marks on my hardwood floor. He did an exceptional job on the carpet. I couldn't wait to write a good review about him. People with that kind of can-do attitude and personality are diamond in the rough.

They arrived 3 hours later than the scheduled window time. They raced through the cleaning barely concentrating on the stains. Most of the stains came back within a few weeks

We had AJ Rose (who was recommended by a contractor) install carpet in our basement, up the basement stairs and in 2 rooms. We also purchased wood flooring from them at this time and had it installed. They have a nice showroom with a good selection to choose from. Unfortunately, the installers did not seal the seams on the carpet, so when we vacuumed, lines of carpet ripped up-- in 3 separate places. We called AJ Rose and was told our "beater bar" was too low on our vacuum (by several different people), and that this caused the problem. Fast forward 2 years. We were thinking about having carpet replaced on another stairway, so I purchased the big deal from them. I got an estimate that seemed a little high based on my own measurements, though stairs are hard to measure. I also had them measure and give me an estimate on replacing the carpet that got ripped up in the basement. Again, the measurements were on the high side-- one room is 12' x 12', but their measurements made it 14' x 15' because of the entry way and small closet. Sure, there might be an extra small piece of carpet needed for those, but the other numbers (such as removal and padding) are all based on that. So we were being charged to remove more carpet than we had, and so on. All the numbers seemed to go in their favor. I didn't have them do the stairs, but I did have them fix the room with the ripped up seams since they had the carpet that matched the rest of the basement. The installer (who was great) was the one who told me that the seams had never been sealed in the first place. I feel like the AJ Rose salesmen should have admitted that this could have been the problem originally-- apparently they have to fix it if it's within the first 2 years, but I had the original work done in August of 2009 and this was October of 2011, so I was out of luck. I ended up paying $750 to fix a small room and I still have to live with the other seam (in a larger room) that I have to hide with a throw rug. And I can't vacuum the larger room without worrying more seams will rip. Also, they couldn't seem to get our phone numbers correct-- they called my husband's work cell twice after I told them not to bother him. Were they trying to deal with him instead of me? It was strange.

The sales people were helpful and professional...They had ready access to my order so if one person was unavailable I didn't have to start over with someone else...I wanted a blue, medium priced wall to wall rug to replace one that my elderly dog had damaged before he passed away...They said my old rug was "out of style" and they only had one variegated blue sample to purchase. It was mid price but not as thick and rich looking as my last one, which I had purchased at AJ Rose some years ago.. I ordered it anyway because it matched my wallpaper, although I wish I'd had more choices of blue variegated rugs. I don't blame the company if that color is "out of style" .When installed, some of the pattern looked like it was stained and dirty in certain lights. Most of the other variegated rug choices were very light in color, mostly in the beige color group...not practical for my family and pets.They had beautiful oriental- style stair runners, however, and I was very happy with my choice. The men installing the rug were young and seemed inexperienced, but they did a really good, precise job..They were tactful about the dog damage and allowed me time to wash the hardwood underneath after they got the old rug up. They did the stairs while I did that so they could stay on schedule. The whole experience was pleasant and I would recommend this company.I can't imagine that it would have gone so smoothly if I purchased my rug at a "big box" store.I had a coupon that they honored in calculating the price, which was exactly what I had been quoted before the work began..

Two workers arrived as schedule - we had pre removed furniture for them so they got right to work. They cleaned all three rooms of beige carpet in about 2.5 hours including stain removal. They also provided me with recommendations for more difficult stains. I will definitely utilize them again.

It went great. I have an aged, light tan, wall-to-wall carpet that had never been cleaned. Two men arrived within the promised time frame. One sprayed the rug down with a cleaning solution. The second man dragged the carpet cleaner across the carpet. They paid special attention to spots where there were some old coffee stains. They did a good job getting them nearly erased (I was satisfied). They also had an excellent result around a back door entrance that was very soiled from foot traffic. That area came out totally clean. Overall, this cleaning added some new life to a tired, old rug.

Best cleaning my carpets ever got! Excellent value! Technicians were fast, professional and thorough. I have since recommended AJ Rose to friends. I will definitely use their services in the future.
