AJ Rose Carpets & Flooring

This the 2nd time I use AJ Rose. Carlos did a fantstic job. he knows what he is doing and was very thorough. he arrived on time and was professional and polite the whole time. I would definitely hire him back next time.

I rated this provider an A overall for how everything has been handled so far and I know we'll be handled well throughout the final service and the boss will make sure of it! Our painting is done, so we plan on having the work done this month of June. I had to press in any date because it wouldn't let me go to a later date!

AJ Rose was very accommodating to my scheduling needs. I had to reschedule once and they were very professional about that. I rescheduled for today. The staff person they sent was very professional and courteous and showed up right in the timeframe AJ Rose had set. He did a fantastic job. One of the rooms he did has a nice, fairly new rug, but the other room has a rug that is pretty old and had some stains that I was not expecting to come out fully. We just wanted it freshened up. To our glad surprise, he somehow got that carpet to glow! None of those long-term stains remain. I would have him back in a minute (if I had any more rugs! :-) ).

They responded to my wish not to see the lines going in all directions.

White carpet with dark discoloration near baseboards. Common problem not sure if anyone can get this out. Room looked clean and fresh but stained edges remain. Is there no cleaning product to take care of this issue?

I selected this company due to the high ratings it receives on Angies and could not have been anymore pleased with them. Their staff are exceptional. There was problems with using a wool rug in a sunny glass sunroom and they worked hard to solve the discoloration issue. Ended realizing wood carpet does not hold up under intense sun, but the work they did on the carpets was wonderful and they performed far beyond expectations. Highly recommend them. Peter at the store and the two men who came and performed the work were great. Very professional, kind, and knowledgeable.

Scheduling was alright. There was one technician here doing the work. I was a little disappointed that they did not move the furniture, like the couches or chairs, to get the carpets cleaned underneath.

The installers came in right on time and did an excellent job installing the carpet on our entire 2nd floor and stairway. We purchased a patterned carpet, and they were able to match the hallway to the bedrooms, pretty much perfectly, I can't see the seams! They did however, miscalculate the amount of carpet needed and had to come back at a later date to finish the job. They were apologetic for the oversight and did not charge for the material/install in that last room. I'm very happy that I went with them as they were great to work with through the process!

They were here on time. They always do an excellent job. Very happy with the results. AJ Carpet is the only one that we use. They were polite, and courteous. I had no problem with them. They did their job.

Called us the day before to confirm the appointment time, and stated they would be 30 minutes early, however they arrived within the last 10 minutes of their appointment, 3 hours hours after the confirmed time. They never called to say they were running late and I had to make a call to find out what was going on and request an updated time. They were in and out un 20 minutes and seemed frustrated as they stated "we have been driving all over today, and we were the last call for them, so it felt rushed. However, they were pleasant and the carpets appeared clean, however they were 2 years old, so no WOW factor. I would use them again, but would ask for an early day appointment.

It was easy to make an appointment. They were prompt. They did a fantastic job for a fantastic price

I was unable to utilize this Big Deal due to scheduling as well as other issues. For example, I learned that the Big Deal did not include stairs, which would have been an additional charge. I know the entire job would have cost significantly more than $89. AJ Rose was very courteous on the phone.

My high ratings are primarily due to the professionalism of the installer. He was prompt, punctual, a good communicator, sensitive to my needs, professional, and left the place looking spotless. A truly great guy. I was less impressed with the help I got in the showroom when I went to look at flooring. The sales person who eventually helped me after I had to ask someone to help me ..was not all that helpful. Apparently, he is not someone that is usually in the store or at that location (?). The salesperson I got assigned to to handle the actual sale, follow up was someone I had never met etc. So that part of it I was not happy with. However, overall a great experience!

The driver got lost and called once but I missed the call. He didn'tto call back so when I realized the the called it was 45 min into my 2 hour window. The guys were friendly and very experienced at what they were doing. But.... My complaint is that they did not move any thing. They worked in such a hurry that they missed some areas of the carpet. Very disappointed and when I want my furniture cleaned I won't be calling them. They have Groupon deals. watch out.

I was very pleased with the service. The sales Rep was very helpful in directing me to the best product for my needs.I got to take home sample tiles which was very helpful. I had taken advantage of an Angie's Big Deal so I saved on the materials. The installer they recommended came out and took measurements and gave me an estimate for the installation. The installer actually charged me less than the estimate because the job took less time than he thought it would. I was amazed by his honesty as I would have paid the quoted amount and not questioned it. I love my new floor. It looks amazing. I am thinking about having AJ Rose do the floor in my 2nd bathroom.

I purchased a "big deal" 3-room carpet cleaning for $89. When I called, they said the stairs were an additional $50. The cleaners arrived toward the end of my 3-hour time window. I had everything picked up off of the floors and inside closets, etc, so they could get to as much of the carpet as possible. They completed the job in about 30 minutes, and I guess my carpets were not that dirty, because I could not tell much of a difference before vs after. The workers were very polite and professional. I guess I expected more WOW, though.

The two carpet cleaners were right on time and nicely called me when they were 30 minutes out so I could make sure I was at home. The same individual who cleaned my carpets a year ago came back and he remembered everything. I found that very impressive. They started by working on the furniture for which I paid extra - $180 for a sofa with ottoman and a reclining chair. Both pieces were significantly stained and dirty, but when the gentlemen finished it was as if I had just bought them. My son's comment " I never knew how white our carpets were or how clean a sofa could be." They moved on to the carpets and again did a great job. They completed all the tasks and were done in about 1.5 hours. I would definitely hire AJ Rose again to clean my carpets and furniture. Excellent work.

It went very well. There was a cat living in my condo before I purchased it and the carpet cleaning was effective at removing most of the cat hair.

The workers were on time, very professional and extremely hard working.

I thought I was going to have to replace the carpets but after they were stretched and cleaned they look really good.

The price was of the laminate was ok. Installation of the flooring was a little rushed towards the end. Could have done a better job at re-installing the baseboards.

The installation went as smoothly as you could ever expect. Surprised that only 2 guys showed up at my house to do the work. However they certainly got it done. Started around 8:30 and were done by 4:30 pm with my furniture all back in place. These guys really worked. Very happy with the installation. From the time we selected the carpet on site at the AJ Rose store until installation was only about a week. Would definitely use again.

From the very beginning they were professional, well coordinated, used email and followed up in a very timely manner. This installation went flawlessly and exactly as they told us it would. I am very happy with the entire process. I would definitely use this provider again.

They were professional and informed us promptly that their company would not be able to fulfill our service needs. I am getting a refund from Angie's List for this Big Deal but have nothing bad to say about AJ Rose Carpets and Flooring.

It turned out fine. The carpets are looking fine. They did a good job. It was a big deal purchase. There was no extra charge. I thought the price was fine.
