Mr. Fix It was very pleasant and accommodating, Since the job involved two trips, one to disconnect and one to connect, I was worried that he might not come back when I needed him to and I would have to wait. I was pleasantly surprised that he adjusted his schedule to meet our timing needs.

Went very smoothly, he even recommended which one we should get. Installed everything and cleaned the mess too. Took the old disposal with him so we didnt have to worry about it! Overall great service and responsiveness, especially over a long weekend!

Everything went great. The team from Mr. Fix It Plumbing was on-time, professional and fast. They were knowledgeable about all relevant city codes and provided helpful guidance to steer me into making the right decision. Dave (the owner) came out on a Sunday to give me a quote to accommodate my schedule. These are people you want to work with.

David was prompt in returning my initial call and came to our home the next morning to provide an estimate. The price seemed reasonable so we scheduled the work around when Yale would be delivering our new kitchen appliances. David and his assistant showed up exactly on time and the work was performed as promised in his estimate. He was extremely professional, friendly and courteous. As far as I'm concerned, I've found the plumber I will call for everything else is in the future.

My kitchen faucet was loose and dripping. To tighten it he needed access from under the sink. Unfortunately, after two attempts to get access and even going out to buy a new tool, the adjacent cabinet was still in the way. Now I need a carpenter to cut a hole in the cabinet before I can have the faucet fixed or replaced. Putting the tub drain back into place was an easy fix. After spending about an hour trying to help, when I asked how much, the answer was nothing! Since he couldn't fix it, he didn't charge me anything. Resetting the tub drain in place was simple and he didn't want to charge for that either. I wish all business people operated like this. Of course, once I get a hole cut in the cabinet, I will call Mr. Fix It Plumbing. What goes around comes around.

David and his team do good work. They arrived on time, completed their work, got their inspections. They were clean and professional. I would definitely hire them again for any plumbing work.

David returned my first time customer call immediately. Seems to man phone consistently and direct work of his team. Arranged a visit that day. Technician came at appointed time....assessed tasks - said he would have it wrapped up that day, including procuring parts and did so. In short, professional, punctual, skilled, accurate, can-do, no fuss..DONE! Invoice came later and seemed reasonable. Would definitely use again.

The lever on our kitchen faucet recently came off through wear and tear. I called David Tuesday and he sent one of his workers out the very next morning. David said the worker would arrive at 9:30 and he arrived exactly at 9:30, was very professional, and fixed the faucet in ten minutes. This is the second time I've called David/Mr. Fixit. The first time, I had a number of small plumbing problems, including a leaky hose from the toilet, a clogged bathroom sink, and a useless sink stopper. A different worker arrived exactly on time, was very professional, and fixed everything quickly. He even gave us some helpful hints on how to avoid problems in the future. I definitely plan to make Mr. Fixit my go-to plumber. This kind of responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism just doesn't grow on trees!

Dave and his team did a great job!! Very professional and backed up his work. I wasn't here for the work and he followed everything I want. I would recommend him to anyone

David was great to work with, did a great job, and was very reasonable with his pricing I am sure I will use him again in the future.

I called on Monday and he arranged to come first thing in the morning on Friday (it wasn't an emergency). He arrived exactly on time, fixed all the little things I needed done quickly and explained exactly what he'd done. I really appreciate that explanation, as I've found that many (male) plumbers and electricians often treat women clients as too stupid to understand what they've done, and tend to provide explanations only when there's another man around. He charged just the price of a service call, which was very reasonable for Boston/Brookline. Bottom line: he was professional from beginning to end and we will definitely call him again for any plumbing issues that arise.

They recommended a drain cleaner for me. I would recommend them. They are very good. They return the calls right away. I guess their pricing is no better or worse than others. It’s reasonable. The quality of work is excellent.

Last year we had a problem with the volume of hot water coming from our shower head. We tried to change the diverter valve, thinking that it was old, but we could not get it done properly because it was stuck. We called David and after he replace it, he told us that the problem was not the diverter valve. He went directly to the water heater and removed sediment and flushed it. That solved our hot water problem. David and his crew were extremely polite, knowledgeable and very efficient. They were able to diagnose the problem correctly and solve it. I would highly recommend him.

This was a difficult toilet to install--not the standard 2 bolts to hold it to the floor. Soooo, the plumber said it would cost more than the quoted and agreed upon installation price. Seemed reasonable for the extra work involved. Be sure to DOUBLE check the model you are getting an installation quotation on before assuming that all toilets are the same.

The work was done quickly and done well. I would definitely use him again but now that we have moved to Wellesley he does not do this area.

We had a leak from our bathroom through the ceiling, and called David to come and make an estimation. He was very responsive to return our phone call, and gave us an estimation the same day. He took a look at our bathroom, and found one place was leaking, but at the same time, he noticed a few other places might also be the problem. Instead of a thorough check, David just stopped from the first thing he found, and came back next day with a replacement pipe. One hour later after his "fix", the leak continued through the ceiling. We called him right away, he came back an hour later, but said he could not find any reason for the leak, and suggested us to continue using the shower and see what was wrong. It turns out to be a bad idea. The leak in the end pealed off our ceiling from a small spot to an ugly hole a week after his "fix". We called his cell again, and this time he pretended he was not "David", and asked us to call their office number which no one answered. We ourselves took a look at the bathtub, and found there was some water remaindered in the drain, so very likely that is the problem. If we could notice this, how could a plumber miss it? In the end, we called another plumber, he came an hour after our call, took a thorough look at the bathroom, found the problem is actually the drain & valve. There might be no need to change the pipe David changed and charged us for. F for professionalism. No for using him again. A for responsiveness the first time, but it seems many other plumbers hold the same standard on this one.

Provider was responsive and used good communication. He completed the work quickly. Very professional. Toilet is fixed.

He looked and told me that it was probably a pan issue, but that trying to fix the grout first would save me a lot if it wasn't the pan. He was professional and did the estimate for free.

Peter was very efficient and courteous . Cleaned up and did a nice job. Was very experienced and knowledgeable about the procedure. Hope to be able to call him in the future.

He came in was neat, removed the old things and put all the things in the box. Called to say he was available to come earlier and it took a few days from the time the call was placed to come to my home.

David and his partner, Sean replaced the faucet to my kitchen sink which has had almost no water pressure for a while. They were able to navigate the tricky parking in Chinatown and they arrived between 8/8:30 AM like they said, which was awesome! The faucet was replaced quickly, they didn't leave a mess and they were very nice! I highly recommend Mr. Fix It Plumbing if you need a reliable, punctual and skilled plumber.

David was great. I reached out to 5 or 6 different plumbers in the area, and David was timely in getting back to me and was able to make an appointment to come see us the same day. His price was lower than all the others we heard back from as well. We will definitely use him again!

David is honest, friendly and above all does a great job. I called him at 630am and he was there by 9am and out by 10am after promising to be here at 10am. He's good people.

I broke the CPVC piping that was running from my water meter and supplied the rest of my house in my basement. I was able to turn it off before too much water was released but it shut the water down to both my unit and the other condo in the house. He came out first thing the next morning and assessed and found another leak in the lead piping that ran from the street to the water meter. He was very professional and patient, but did not want to do the work because of the lead pipe and the fact that he could not shut the water off from the street. After a call to Boston Water and Sewer, a torn up sidewalk, and a new copper pipe replacing the old lead pipe to the house, I called Dave and he said he would have no problem coming back after Boston Water and Sewer was done to connect the rest of the piping that runs from the meter to supply the house. Dave not only came back earlier in order to make sure BWSC did a good job, but replaced all the cheap CPVC piping with brass fittings and copper piping. He made the whole project clean and air tight. He even caught a small leak from the new fitting that Boston Water and Sewer put on, which they ended up fixing. Even the BWSC guys were impressed with how good of quality and quick Dave was. He has a new customer anytime we have plumbing issues in our condo units from now on.
