David and his crew are great! They also have fun while they are working and keep it lighthearted during a stressful time. I had two pipes burst due a quick freeze and thaw. I had a few plumbers who said they wouldn't even come out until next week. I called Mr Fix It Plumbing because of the Better Business Bureau rating, and David was over in two hours. Our water heater died and David (Mr. Fix It Plumbing) was able to come the next day to get us back to normal. David and his team were terrific and left our basement clean and tidy. We're very happy with their service and would gladly trust them again.

We've used David and MFI for several jobs at our 1800s 2-family house, usually it's urgent issue like a failed hot water heater or clog or leak. Work has always been responsive, timely and professional. He really cares about his customers. He installed a new Rheem HWH last year for our rental unit. When it failed under warranty Rheem told us 5 days to get their service tech out!. David came out on his own dime to try to fix it sooner. (PS - never will I buy Rheem again- worst customer service ever). David and MFI are great.

David was able to come the day after I called him, which was great. He didn't charge me for the disposal problem--he reached in and pulled out a somewhat chewed up dime. He had to drive to a shop to buy a new sprayer and then replaced the broken one. All very quick. He's a really nice guy; I've hired him before and definitely would again.

My hot water heater was leaking everywhere. They got back to me the same day and were able to replace the unit a couple days later, when that specific model came back in stock. For emergency repairs, I wouldn't hesitate to contact them. Their responsiveness was great. That unit wasn't easy to work with. They had to haul the old one down a ladder and haul a new one up that same ladder. They did forget to bring a pan for the new water heater, though. I had to send one of the guys to home depot to pick one up.

My house is 110 years old, so there were many challenges like non-standard, old or European fixtures and configurations. They fixed numerous problems. I appreciate the level of expertise and experience. I also appreciate that the owner has a strong network of experts he consults if needed. The plumber they sent is fantastic. He is meticulous in repair, record keeping, clean up and billing, and he is great to work with, for example when needing to prioritize or problem solve. The support staff is also excellent: prompt calls, scheduling, follow up, prompt receipts. I highly recommend Mr Fix It Plumbing.

Great job clearing out our slow-draining bathtub. A previous plumber had charged me $230 just to pour drain cleaner , promising to return if it failed. After 2 months, it failed and he never showed up again. Burn! Mr. Fix It gave me an appointment the next day, assuring me they'd clean it 'for real' (no drain cleaner). The plumber, Junior, showed up on time - he was great - friendly, competent, explained everything. I'd been burned by the previous plumber so I hovered and asked a lot of questions, and Junior took it all in stride and was gracious and friendly. He pulled out all the gunk by hand, got it working properly. Still, I still insisted he snake it anyway; he complied without a fuss. He also educated me about my pipes, clogs etc. I also asked him to look at a shower that had poor water pressure. He fixed that too - it was simply sand in the showerhead filter, and he educated me about showerhead selection and maintenance. All for one hour's labor charge. Great experience, highly recommend!

Very disappointing. I have used this company on several occasions in the past. When I had work done on my rental units I get called for my credit card details for payment or I have an invoice emailed to me for payment. For some strange reason on the last visit to fix the same problem, the plumber demanded payment from my tenants without first contacting me for payment. I would have been happy to provide payment details in advance. The plumber FAILED to show up for the last appointment ultimately resulting in mounting frustration for my tenant. This was a particularly difficult time for me because I was out of town dealing with family issues. The end result was my tenant moving out in sheer frustration. I find the whole situation baffling as I've had what I thought was a good long term relationship with David. Very unprofessional, inconsiderate and selfish attitude resulting in negative impact on my rental business. Not acceptable. Beware.

David and his crew showed up as promised and did excellent work. They were pleasant to work with and job was done right. Thank you.

Every aspect of the job surpassed expectations. David and team arrived on time, finished early, and installed the highest quality and best priced water heater compared to the 4 other bids we solicited. We will be calling him back for all our plumbing needs from here on out.

Mr. Fixit technician came promptly and replaced the pipe. This did not totally fix the problem, but the technician gave good advice about how to proceed further. The problem is now resolved. This was during a spell of bad weather, so prompt service was particularly appreciated.

David answered phone promptly, explained he was not available to come out right away, but suggest a quick fix that worked. Based on this experience, I would definitely call him again for a more significant issue requiring in-person assessment.

Assessed the situation, replaced stuck shut off valves and fixed leaky sink. Needed to coordinate with super to have main water supply turned on and off so it took a little longer. Also advised me on some things I asked him about regarding an upcoming renovation. I was going to have him fix the shut off valves under my kitchen sink to but he warned me that it would have involved cutting them off and soldering new ones on and I would need to do that again when I had my kitchen renovated so it made sense to not do that at this time. It wasn't inexpensive but seemed to be reasonable for what plumbers charge.

Both jobs were done highly professionally. The team showed up on schedule, performed the work in a timely manner. I recommended Mr Fix It Plumbing to friends in Newton for a water leak repair and they were also satisfied with the work

Both the removal of the old dishwasher and installation of the new one went very smoothly. We were very impressed by the experience, quality and reasonable price. I would hire Mr. FixIt and David for plumbing work again and already recommended him to friends and neighbors.

It was a good experience from start to finish. I was able to make a next day appointment and appreciated that they did not try to break up the service between an estimate and a second visit for the repair. They were respionsive, friendly and professional and Clyde even tried to train me on how to fix the disposal in the future.
