I called and left a message for a quote on a sink basin replacement, and did not receive a response, although it was around the New Years Holiday. I found another plumber who did respond to my request within 24 hours, even though it was the New Years Holiday.

Called Mr. Fixit and left message that I had two small, non-emergency jobs. He called back promptly. He (and his son) arrived on schedule a few days later. They were quick and professional. Price was reasonable.

I called Mr. Fix-It after my washer machine backed up at 9:30 at night. I spoke with David and he told me he would come right over - which he did. Since my washer machine is in a tight spot in the basement, running the snake was difficult. But David stuck with it. As it turns out, this was no ordinary clog, and required over three hours of snake time. Throughout the whole process, David was courteous, neat and very persistent. I would highly recommend them!

I called and emailed several plumbers on a Thursday night. Mr Fix It was by far the lowest estimate and they were the only company able to come the very next day. What's more, when the job was done they disposed of the old toilet at no additional charge, which several of the other plumbers charged extra for. David installed my Toto Aquia dual flush toilet, which is quite a tricky job as you need to drill 6 holes into the floor to mount the toilet, and in my case the floor is tile. He and another worker were very efficient and professional, even though it was the first time he'd put in this type of toilet(the Aquia is a new model and is very different from other Toto installations). I was amazed that they were finished within the hour given the complexity of the job. They were very careful and cleaned up after the job. David also gave me an estimate for what I thought was a problem with a drain pipe and he showed me that it did not in fact need to be replaced.

David and an assistant came out and gave us the bad news that this was going to be a sizable job (there was a nail-head sized hole in a major cast iron drain pipe that served the first floor flat's kitchen, bath and bathtub drains. He estimated the job might be around $1,500 and a day's work and told my husband how to patch the hole (with epoxy) to buy us a little time (my mother, who lives on the first floor, was sick that day) to decide what we were going to do and get other estimates. They were very nice, and didn't charge us for the call. We are definitely considering having them back to do this work!

Mr. Aviksis was awesome. I called and described the nature of the problem, and he understood that this was a real emergency. He showed up quickly, identified the problem, and proceeded to fix it. I would call him again in a heart beat, money wise he was very reasonable. Simply no nonsense-experienced plumber. I can't say enough.

David, Alex's son, answered my call and said he could be out in 30-45 minutes. He was at my house in 35 minutes and completed the job quickly, explained everything, and was incredibly professional and polite. He found two sticks inside the toilet and suspected that there might be a third. He said that if it happened again, he would try to unclog it again with the snake, but we might need to replace the toilet. I am so pleased and impressed with this company that I would not hesitate for one second to call them again or to refer them to others. Outstanding!

We had a clogged drain that we had tried to unclog ourselves. We realized we were over our head and called Mr. Fix It. David came and cleaned the drain and installed a new sink. He was timely and very professional. That night we observed a small leak. The following day David came right over, repaired the leak, no additional charge and no questions asked. Overall we are very happy. We had previously had another plumber try to charge us almost $400 to do the same job. David was knowledgeable friendly and honest. We would recommend and use their services again.

David was terrific. He was able to come by the day of our call and quickly diagnose the problem. He installed a new disposal for $265, including labor, in about an hour. He left the kitchen in cleaner shape than he found it, along with our new disposal's warranty and product info. He also showed us what was wrong with the old unit. I would not hesitate to use Mr. Fix-it again.

Very pleased. Very professional, nice, and refused money when offered since they did come to the house and then arranged for another plumbing company (which was also good) to come and do the job. We will definitely be calling again with any other plumbing needs.

Felix was very pleasant, very up front about his billing method and charges, and the most reasonably priced plumber I have found. He worked quickly and efficiently on both visits, and was in and out in less than 1/2 hour. He said he always charges $90/visit + parts. I will definitely use him again and recommend him highly. He is quite accessible on his cell phone (the cell number is provided on the business line).

These two women were prompt, worked efficiently, and cleaned up well. They even spent more time than they originally said. They spent 5 hours at $25/person. The part that they cleaned up looks great.
