They were very responsive and called me right back. They scheduled the appointment very quickly. They were punctual and showed up on time. They did the work very efficiently and cleanup once the job was done. Their pricing was fair as well.

He was neat as well as efficient and effective!

Felix did not install the part correctly and ended up shorting out our whole furnace. We had to pay a lot of money to someone else to repair the damage. The damage was caused by Felix trying to jam a part on and cause electrical polarity to reverse -- shorting out our whole furnace.

This was the third time that we called upon Felix (and son David) for assistance, and like the previous two it was a pleasure to do business with him. Felix is extremely responsive to telephone calls, will go the extra mile to work you into his schedule, is very knowledgeable and skilled, and performs meticulous work. He is a consummate professional, and a high integrity businessman. Felix instills confidence when he arrives; I can't think of any reason to call or consider calling anyone else.

Mr Fit It did a fabulous job. The damage to the hot and cold water pipes were quite extensive, because the pipes had burst not only above the ceiling, but at the upper vertical plumbing wall in the floor above the ceiling. Mr Fit It had to partially remove the ceiling and walls in order to access and replace the damaged copper pipes. The did a tremendous job at minimizing demolition to the walls and ceilings so that they could easily be repaired later. They replaced all the copper pipes that were damaged and cleaned up beautifully when they finished. The job they did was excellent in my opinion as both a landlord and architect. The cost was $860, totally reasonable taking into account the extensive scope and the emergency off-time nature of the call. I have used several plumbers in the Boston/Brookline area in the past 27 years as a landlord and Mr Fit It has been the most dependable, competent and reasonable-priced plumber I have ever used.

I had tried to install my own connection using a self-piercing saddle valve, but it went badly and I had a leak whenever I tried to open the saddle valve. Mr. Fix It came over within a few hours of my call (impressive!) and trimmed the pipe back so that I would never have leakage in the future. Then he installed a ball valve so I could turn off the water for that connection alone, and lastly, connected it up to my ice maker. The price was very reasonable in my opinion and I thought really quick and efficient. He also cleaned up after himself! Very courteous and professional.

He is good, sometimes a bit slow in responding to a call, but better than most. His son also works for him and he's pretty good, too. Work was done competently and the price was fair.

I had tried to put a new garbage disposer in but had trouble with setting it in. I called and they were here in 1 hour--which was fantastic--and had it completed in 5 minutes. They charged only for the service call and double checked some of the work I had done. They even said that if I could have explained it on the phone they would have just been able to tell me how to do it. Now I know how to finish installing one. And I would definitely call them again for more work.

Everything went extremely well. I called Mr. Fix-it and spoke with Felix, the owner. He made an appointment for the next day, and showed up right on time, with all the materials required to do the job.

He was very professional and accurate. I didn't go with him because he was very busy to do the work right away, but he recommended me to go to another company for a cheaper amount. That was incredible.

The contractors from Mr.. Fix it were prompt in returning my phone call and came out to give the estimate within a coupe of days. The people were pleasant and did their best to be as unobtrusive while accomplishing the work. They cleaned up everything very well as they went along and I have had no problems since they were here. I would feel comfortable referring them to friends and family.

When I called Friday to describe work and that soon would be good as drywall off and pipes exposed, he scheduled a Tues. appt to give an estimate (he would have come Monday but I was busy). He called 20 min before he arrived on time and he looked at the work, gave an estimate, and he and his assistant completed work all at the same visit. He was extremely thorough, asked questions and made sure he knew what I wanted and then did exactly what I requested. I had received 2 other estimates on the project, one (non-Angie's list plumber) estimated $1300 to $2000, another estimated <$300, but then never showed up to do work and I don't think even realized he would need to move the drain vent. I will definitely call this plumber again in the future.

They were very responsible, punctual, professional, and they offered good quality work. They were very nice people. Even though the price seemed a little too high I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

He came the day that I called. I needed some additional work, he that he would come the next week, but when I called he said that I would have to wait another week because he was busy. The faucets that he installed were installed improperly and needed to be reinstalled.

My hot water heater had a very slow leak, and I knew I'd have to replace it before it turned into an emergency situation! I called on the afternoon of August 6th and explained what I needed, and Felix called me back around 5 pm with an estimate. We set the appointment for August 10th, and Felix called me that morning to confirm his time of arrival. He and his helper completed the work in a little over an hour, including draining and hauling the old heater up the cellar stairs, installing the new heater, and sweeping the area clean. A very thorough and professional job.

I called Felix at 8:30 a.m. for an estimate and he told me he would try to be by at Noon the same day. Well he called me back at 11:15 A.M and told me he could be at my home in 10 minutes. Felix and his helper arrived right on time, he took a quick look at the job, gave me a price and told me he could pick up a new water heater in twenty minutes. They left to pick up the heater and of course were back on time and went right to work. From the time they started the installation until cleaning up and hauling away the old water heater took only about an hour. This was by far the best experience I've personally had with a plumber. The professionalism and the quality of their finished product is top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to re-hire Felix for another job and will use him again in the future.

He was able to come the same day I called him and completed the small job quickly.

The estimate that Mr Fit It gave me was excellent. It was less than what my regular plumbers had previously estimated. Dave installed the shower assembly in about 1 1/2 hours. The work was done neatly and cleanly, with minimal demolition to the tile wall. The partial opening in the wall was temporarily sealed tightly with plastic. (I had scheduled another company to come the next day to install new acrylic tile wall surrounds, so immediate repairs to the wall were not necessary).

I contacted the company and was was able to reach someone immediately. They were able to set up an appointment, to come the following day. They contacted me in advance, as promised, to confirm the time and were already there, as I arrived at my house. The installer was very pleasant and professional. Completed the work and left the area clean. A very positive experience. I would definitely use the company again and I am happy to have a reliable plumber to call on the next time, I need one.

The company responded very quickly to our phone call and were able to come the same day. They charge a flat fee ($110) for unclogging drains.

We called in the evening and someone picked up. He scheduled an appointment for the next day and gave us an estimate of $110 to replace the pipe. He came on time the next day and fixed the hot water pipe. He said it was rare to have a break like that. Because we were worried that we might just have a bad batch of pipes, he volunteered to replace the cold water pipe also for no extra cost. We would definitely call them again!

Called Mr. Fix it at 9am. He called back within 30 minutes and said he could be at my house within an hour. He was five minutes early. He diagnosed the problem (frozen pipe) and suggested I try to thaw it out with heat before he did it (since he would need to go through plaster). He said call him again if it didn't work. NO CHARGE!!!!! Very polite and nice. I did what he suggested and it worked fine. BEST PLUMBER EVER!!!!!! I'll go to this guy for all plumbing problems in the future.

Job 1: They came and checked out the job and gave me an estimate. I scheduled the work for Tuesday the week of Thanksgiving. My sister was upset about this because we had 20 people coming for Thanksgiving, and she felt that if there were any problems then we would be without a kitchen to cook in. I felt bad but when Felix and his helpers came my brother-in-law kept asking questions instead of asking them to re-schedule the job until the following week, Felix said he would be glad to come back next week to do the job. I got the feeling the Felix felt that we did not think he could do the job. I try to tell my sister and brother-in-law that Felix got great reviews but they still did not believe me. Felix did reschedule and came the following Monday. David and the other plumber came back (sorry I forgot his name) and completed the job -- THEY WERE GREAT -- NEED A PLUMBER CALL THEM -- these guys have great karma!!!! I finally found a plumber that I will always use!!! Job 2: Great guys.
