David called back right away after my first call. He told me he could come that afternoon and called later to pinpoint the time. David came when he said he would. He fixed the toilet and had me flush it to be sure it was to my satisfaction, He snaked out the slow bathtub drain and tested it several times to be sure it drained quickly. David then looked at the gutter drain pipe coming out of the ground which is 50 plus years old and has always been clogged. He thought it would not be worth unclogging it but recommended rerouting the gutter, then having the pipe sawed off and filled with cement. I have been using Mr. Fix It for probably the past 8 years. In the past Felix and David have replaced drain pipes from my kitchen (a major job), replaced a toilet, replaced faucet washers, and unclogged drains on a number of occasions. Of late David has done the work, he always promptly returns calls and often comes to my house on the same day that I call. He is consistently professional, and the price is always quite reasonable.

I spent close $100 on that service. He is good and I called him in the morning and he was there in the afternoon. He was really responsive.

David came out to look at a dishwasher that was not draining. He diagnosed a potential plumbing issue, but also thought that there might be a mechanical issue with the dishwasher. I am going to have an appliance specialist look at the dishwasher next, and then I will have David back to fix the plumbing. He was on time, did not charge me for his short visit, was extremely professional, and was very good with my cats (which I really liked).

I'm very happy with David's work. He came in to evaluate the situation and give me an estimate the same day I made the call. He also did the work efficiently and professionally. Compared to other plumbers I have called, he is the only one who was willing to come in to give an free estimate. His price, however not low, is in the lower range compared to others.

David is well spoken, polite, and prompt. He came out in the snow. Other plumbers I left messages for earlier called back hours after David left. It is $110 for a service call + $50 for an extra hour + parts + markup. The last plumber I used was $60 for a service call. David fixed the problem and I have heat again.

We had a toilet that wobbled and did not respond to tightening the screws on the base or a shim. We called Mr. Fixit in the late morning and soke to David Aviksis. He put us in contact with Shimon, who came over the same day, even though the problem was not an emergency. He was courteous, very efficient and professional. He showed us the flange and explained that it was not adequately screwed on the floor. He drilled deeper holes and used longer screws but changed nothing that did not required changing.

Felix came on time, was very professional, and pleasant. He had to leave to purchase a stopper as the old one was no good, he returned within the time frame he said he would. The work was done within a relatively short period of time. Even though he told me there was nothing wrong with the basement shower drain, he snaked it and didn't charge me for it.

Excellent. David arrived on time and got right to work, working straight for 1.5 hours (in hot & humid 90 degree heat). It turned out to not be the drain in my house (he snaked 75 feet clear out to the road), but an issue with the city sewer line. I called Boston Sewer & they are expected to come out and check their side of the line. David charged $260 for the time & work, and apologized for not being able to fix the problem for me. This was a very reasonable price considering the work he did, and now I also know that my main drain is completely clear. I will definitely use Mr. Fix-It again. David was courteous, polite, professional, and cleaned up after his work. I would definitely recommend this plumber.

I called after not receiving replies from two other plumbers that I had attempted to contact. My bathtub was not draining and was filling up with scummy water from both the kitchen sink and my bathroom sink. David answered right away and was here in less than two hours. He quickly found the problem and fixed it. It was fantastic.

Because the carpentry for mounting of the filter was already completed the plumbing work to install the cold water feed and test the filter for proper function and leaks went very quickly.

David was highly responsive replacing a broken water heater on a Sunday at no extra charge.

He responded very quickly. Though I offered payment he did not take money as the work was very simple.

Came on time, did the work quickly, was polite and friendly, price $110 seems just a little bit high but that's probably because I think all plumbers charge too much :-). I doubt I would have been able to find anyone to do the job for much less than that.

David responded promptly, came to the house the next business day to look at the work needed, and then send an e-mail quote the same day. We ended up doing the work ourselves, but David was prompt and professional.

I love them and he is great. David is just awesome. They were very patient with me. They are excellent at what they do. They were efficient and cost-effective. They do the work right. I would absolutely use them again and I have called them to do some work at my office.

Tech was on-time, efficient, and thoroughly professional. Problem was fixed and has not reoccurred.

We have great success with him. He is efficient and doesn?t charge $90 an hour. He is also readily available and comes pretty much the next day or so. He worked for us yesterday and it did seem a little expensive. I would use him in future if need be.

David is awesome - use him. From the beginning he was professional and very efficient. Assessed problems and instructed me on how to fix as it turned out they were not huge plumbing problems as I thought the unknown kitchen sink leak was going to be $$$ and instructed on fixing on my own going forward. Of course, I did have some issues (shower fixture broke after new installation- faulty fixture) and he came back right away and fixed next day. Two visits- 175.00 bucks- not bad for 3 issues solved promptly.

My kitchen sink was not draining, so I called Mr. Fix It for an emergency appointment on Saturday. They promised that they would arrive about 90 minutes later, and, in fact, the plumber was there 30 minutes earlier. He examined the issue, fixed the immediate problem, and then gave me some good advice about some possible repairs for the entire apartment building. He spent about 15 minutes here, but did not charge me anything. The promptness and professionalism was incredible - I have already told many of my friends about this experience and have encouraged them to call this company.

Their price was reasonable. They were prompt and professional.
