They arefirst rate and are the only company we go to. In the past, we've obtained estimates for previous jobs and although Socelvic are not the cheapest, I get the sense that you get what you pay for. They're prompt (arriving 15 minutes before they say they will, at least), friendly and entirely reliable. The quality of the work is superb. They work fast and extremely neatly. Walking around the exterior of the building after the job was complete, they were happy to come back and attend to the tiny details I asked them to (small spots that needed an extra touch up, one railing or shingle that needed an extra nail). At this point we don't even get estimates from other companies. Why would we? Socelvic is exactly what we're looking for, and we've recommended them to many people.We're previously had them repair the slate roof on our house, re-lay new asphalt roofing on another part of the roof, and replace the decking at the front and back of the house. They give the same, consistent, high quality, reliability and friendliness each time.

THey responded quickly to our original inquiry and came in with the low bid. We had to wait a while for them to start after that, but we expected that. Once they started they moved pretty quickly. It was just a 2 man crew and one more worker would have wrapped it up more quickly. In the summer, you want to have to smell the painting process the least amount of time possible. They worked hard and almost continuously. There were some drips that I had to get on them to clean up and some other drips on the foundation that we just had to accept. There was a spot that needed to be retouched and one of the downspouts came off and needed to get reinstalled. In both cases they responded quickly and did what they needed to. The house looks really good and maybe it wasn't left completely spotless, but the paint job looks excellent and it was done for much less money than any other company wanted to charge.

Socelvic was great to work with. They were patient with our decisions to postpone the painting project multiple times as we looked at the feasibility of putting an addition on our house (using another company). They quoted us several times based on our potential scenarios. We eventually elected to not do the addition project and had them do the painting and restoration project they had originally quoted us on. They performed the work this past April (2012). Aside from some minor confusion with contracts, things went smoothly. The team was terrific - hard working, pleasant and they did a nice job of keeping the work site clear everyday. We're happy with the finished product.

Socelvic did an excellent job, as they did the last time that I used them, three years ago. They are very efficient. The carpenters and gutter-hangers worked late and completed all their work on Thursday, June 28, so that the painters could come on Saturday, June 30, and paint the new gutters, fascia boards, and the bottom of the garage door. (The painters would have come on Friday, June 29, but it rained most of the day.) One painter primed the new wood on the garage door and another painted the white fascia boards. A third painter painted the black shutters and gutters, and by the time the primer was dry on the garage door, he had finished the shutters and gutters and was ready to paint the garage door. The painters were finished in less than two hours, and I had the rest of the day to myself.

From the initial contact it was a pleasure and easy. Celio came quickly and gave a fair quote for the job. His office kept in touch to set up a painting date. And his crew, led by Renand was beyond excellent. They were the the hardest and most careful working workers, coming day after day till the job was done. Renand took every one of my questions seriously, and quickly took care of anything that needed to be taken care of. He said he would not leave the job until I was perfectly happy, and he kept his word. (I did not experience one moment of frustration or stress during the job.) At the job's end, he checked the house several times, he and his crew chasing every little thing to make sure the job was done to his and my own satisfaction. And, they left my home and property cleaner than when they arrived. A wonderful experience!

They were great. Some days they were here from 7:15am to 8:00pm. They are remarkable.

They do all the little extras, this is our second job with them and there will be more. They are the best!

I called Socelvic to ask for a quote, and Celio Vicente (owner) visited our house within a day or two to get it done. The quote was very clear and detailed, and they were completely upfront about the high possibility of minor carpentry work being required (to be identified prior to priming). Shortly thereafter, they generated an entirely separate quote for the carpentry work they felt was required before initiating the paint job. We agreed to move forward, and they diligently and efficiently moved forward. It is notable that a long stretch of drought like weather ended the moment we signed the contract, and it basically rained for a month. This made the timing of our job quite challenging, but they communicated with us the entire time to let us know what was going on and what we could expect. Throughout the job, the team was very professional, polite, and clean. They put everything away before they left and they were very careful with our garden and landscaping. Eventually, the work was completed and it was worth it! They did a remarkable job, and exceeded our expectations in just about every way. Upon completion, Celio came back out to the house (on a Saturday no less) to walk through the property and make sure we were pleased with everything. He also made it a point to let us know that they would be back out immediately if we notice any problems. Overall, I would recommend this company with the highest enthusiasm.

We hired Socelvic to scrape and paint our house. They were very quick and efficient with their estimate. Initially they said they would schedule us in June. I mentioned that I hoped to do the work earlier and they fit us in within a week of our decision to proceed. In preparation, we had our wooden gutters repaired by another contractor, but when the crew from Socelvic started the work, they pointed out some additional rotted areas that the other contractors missed. Much to my dismay, the other contractor would not come back so I added this work to their painting job. I wish I had all the work done by Anderson and the Socelvic team. They did a clean replacement/patch of the gutters and boards in question and it looks perfect. They also scraped and painted the whole house including the porch. During my initial inspection, I pointed out a few touch ups which they fixed them immediately. The house looks lovely now! The always arrived on time and the work area was cleaned up each day. Truly a pleasure to work with. My neighbor came over after they were done to tell me how impressed he was with their work. I am very happy with them and will definitely call on them again.

This company hires the best crews and treats them well. The crew working on my house showed up on time - stayed late - were pleasant - precise and thorough. Their work was excellent and my house looks great! They did an amazing job of scraping and sanding and powerwashing and then priming and painting. Excellent!The carpentry was done quickly and precisely. My front porch pillars and railings had to be replaced - this work was done expertly.In fact that's a great word to use for this company. They did by roof and my paint jobs expertly for a good price.

Celio Jr. worked with me to find the right color and available composite that would work for us. They built a pressure treated frame for the deck, and then built the composite deck on top. We have a brand new rubber roof and didn't want anything drilled into the roof, and they respected that wish and set the deck on rubber pads. When they first started building the deck, they realized there wasn't enough support for the middle of the boards and they were bowing, but they quickly corrected this. The project took a couple of weeks, but was mostly delayed by the rainy Boston weather, and they worked around that and finished in reasonable time.They were very responsive, punctual, and did a few extra things for us. At the end of the project, they cleaned the area and disposed of all trash. They had some materials left over, and are in the process of returning them to the supplier and will provide us with a credit. We very much appreciate their honesty on that matter. They also went above and beyond and power-washed the area, which really makes a difference. Thank you!I had initially asked for estimates from several contractors recommended on Angie's List, and Socelvic had the best pricing. Despite the lower prices, they provided high-quality work, and we're very happy we hired them. The only reason we gave a B for the price is that they originally quoted approximately $9,700 for the work using composite. However, when the time came to buy the composite materials, the final cost jumped to $13,200 (but this was still lower than the other estimates we received). We understand that the prices for composite have generally increased, but it would have been nice to have a slightly more accurate price up-front, especially because the deck frame was already built by the time we received the final materials price. That said, we're still extremely satisfied with their work, and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you for all your hard work, we have our deck just in time to enjoy the summer!

The cred did an amazing job. They are extremely hard working, working long hours, quickly and detail oriented. They go above and beyond, even painting the whole interior of the porch, which was not included in the contract. We would definitely recommend Socelvic.

The work was done in a very time-efficient and complete manner which allowed me to stay on pace with the selling process for my condo. The team was punctual and reliable, and had good attention to detail. They cared about the work and when there were small issues, they addressed them in a direct and fair way. They did an excellent job. We did have to remind the painters that we had agreed to paint a duct. Overall we were happy with the work but thought it was expensive. We agreed to the price because they were able to meet our request to do the work immediately.
