I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was mediocre. There were a number of issues. It took about four phone calls to make it happen. We made an arrangement for them to come and then they did not show up. This happened several times. Finally they came and did arrive on time. The deal was supposed to be for four hours of work and three people came and worked for about an hour and 20 minutes each for what was supposed to be for four hours of cleaning. But it was not as if it they did a good job of cleaning in that allotted time. They did okay on some things, but other things not so well. It was not awful, it was mediocre.

Nothing, they never responded to my purchase of the bundled services despite a confirmation email that they would do so and a follow-up email from me asking for scheduling.

They were unable to schedule me until February and were not apologetic.

On the second visit, the owner sent two lovely women, neither of whom spoke any english...literally NONE! This service was *SO* disappointing I have never used an Angie's List house cleaning service ever since.

It didn't seem any better than what I do and there was still dust on various surfaces.

I gave some specific instructions which they followed well. Prior to their arrival I called to set up an appointment, and Katia was very responsive and reliable. Communication was easy and effective. I don't remember the cost of the Big Deal that I purchased so I can't fill in the amount above. It was definitely under $100.00.

The service provider was prompt in response on Angie's List. However the provider said she is fully booked for two months so there isn't any service to comment on.

only one vacuum was used as they cleaned the house in an hr and a half only - they did not vacuum under the rugs or remove them- overlall light ly vacuumed- bathroom was cleaned very well

I have six children and I try to pick up before she comes. However, she always picks up with no hesitation. Every time I come home, the house looks great and guest appropriate. She is thorough and does great work. She really helps me maintain my house which is especially great because I have a big family.

They did a great job cleaning our house.

They did exactly as I asked without supervision as I had to leave... 2 bathrooms & thorough kitchen cleaning. They missed a small area (window treatments) but I think this was miscommunication.

They are cheaper than other services I have used, but I find no matter how much is charged by any cleaning co. they all do the same level of cleaning. These ladies are all pleasant and do a reasonable job, its good for the money, I found I got the same level of cleaning as a co. that charged me $200.

Hard to schedule but did a very good job once they got there

The only communication was via email. Scheduled an appointment for tomorrow and the company canceled via email. When I called she said she couldn't do it until the 23rd. I am having an event this weekend so I have to hire someone else

Some parts of the house I was not satisfied with. The kitchen was not done as well as I was hoping.

I tried to engage this cleaning service for 11/1 or 2 on 10/8/ 2013. I was going to be traveling the rest of the month and was planning for an event at my home on Nov. 3rd. I hired a caterer and was trying to arrange for a deep cleaning of my house. I wanted get everything in placebefore my trip. I never heard from SMILE. I did hear from Angies' List on 10-11-2013 asking if SMILE had returned my email. I replied in the negative to Angie's List. Then I did not hear from either Angie's List or SMILE. I hired another cleaning company on Oct. 27th. I heard from SMILE on 10-28-2013 and told them I would not need their services. I used SMILE thru Angie's List in 2012 and was satisfied with their work. Their response and professionalism was an F, this time. If they could not schedule me weeks before my need, it would have been fine if they had simply emailed me and told me.

The cleaning was average. She came with two young ladies who were not very professional.

This was my first experience with any house cleaning services. Catia arrived an hour late but did apologize, stating the traffic was bad. She came with two helpers Fabiola and Ana. This was a special for 4 hours of services for one provider or 2 hours for 2 providers. There were 3 and they finished up in just over an hour. They did a good job. My cabinets shined, which made me very happy. She did not do the one above the refrigerator, perhaps because it was harder to reach. As I look around, I am quite satisfied with the finished product. They were all very pleasant and accommodating. My house has a fresh clean smell!

Difficult to communicate with provider - seems to be a language barrier. Short, stilted text messages poorly written are about all I have gotten. Left VERY specific instructions both times - generally followed. Mediocre results tho. If it isn't quickly/easily noticeable - it doesn't get done. They did accommodate my request for Saturday cleanings - although it was difficult. Not bad for the price - not really good and nowhere near great.

We had a good experience with Smiles. They are very friendly and quick. They left our house very clean and they were professional. Three very nice ladies come to clean, so it helps get the work done more quickly. Their communication is a little unreliable at first, but, now, when we text them, we get a response pretty quickly.

Did not show up on October 10th, the first time we had scheduled (and confirmed, via email), and did not call. I put a call in to her on that day to ask if she was running late, etc. Did not hear a thing. She just didn't show. She called a couple days later, and said she had been cleaning someplace else, and locked her keys and phone in that house. So could not come and could not call me. We rescheduled for today, within the 10:30 - 2:30 timeframe. She emailed to confirm this time, choosing it from the two dates/times I had offered for rescheduling. It is now 3:00 and she's not here, and has not called. This is a completely unreliable and unprofessional provider. I really don't believe the excuse she gave me the first time. Think she just makes up excuses when she doesn't show.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this provider. We purchased a deal for the 4 hrs of cleaning and the first time they arrived approx 1 hr late. They did a decent cleaning job however so I bought a second deal and scheduled the service for a day that we were hosting a party in the evening. My wife called during the week prior to confirm the date and time. On the day they were scheduled to arrive, after waiting 2 hrs beyond the scheduled time, my wife managed to contact the owner who tried to say she had left a message needing to reschedule. Not only did she let us down but was not prepared to change her schedule to accommodate our scheduled time. Very disappointing.

This is my second experience with this provider. The first time, she was over 20 minutes late, with no explanation or apology. I tried again with this latest hire. First, she failed to make note of a change in date, and failed to schedule my appointment. i had to call her after waiting all day to find out what the issue was. I rescheduled, and again she and her team were late. Smiles does a good job at cleaning, but they need to improve their customer service and inform clients when they are going to be late.

I bought the "bargain" deal of 4-hours of cleaning. Two women came and cleaned very quickly. They finished in three hours and did not do the windows. I felt they had done such a good job (even wiping out the refrigerator) that had received my money's worth and more. They worked hard and I felt it was "pushing" it to ask them to take on the windows. I wonder if they took notes on my place. I'd like to get a quote for future cleaning.
