This was my first cleaning appointment with Caita's company, Smiles Housecleaning. Booking the appointment was effortless. Caita is responsive, professional and punctual. She is soft spoken and quiet. My two-bedroom condo had not been cleaned professionally in over a year. In 90 minutes she and her team of 2 transformed my condo from a dirty, dusty and dog hair strewn minefield to a sparkling clean, neat and fresh (very light - not overpowering!) smelling home. She even made my unmade bed! I have hired her to come to my home once a month.

Catia's team arrived on time and worked efficiently. Did a thorough job. This service was a special, but the fee she quoted for regular cleaning is below what I've paid elsewhere.

I do not think the windows were done as was supposed to be part of the package. The work that they did was good.

Scheduling was a huge pain. Catia picked a date, we prepared for her arrival, and she cancelled on us hours after the start time because of an emergency of some kind. As we tried to pick a new date, there were repeated miscommunications - beware language barrier. She also asked for my address about 5 times (I gave it to her each time). When it came time for the cleaning, it was super thorough and all around excellent. The window cleaning wasn't really a "PLUS" after all - it was part of the 3 worker-hours of cleaning. I would love to have Smile clean my house again, but I am not willing to deal with the scheduling process again.

I was most interested in window cleaning, paid in advance because of an Angie's List bargain price listing. I set up times for the service with Smiles but I canceled twice. I never rescheduled after my vacation and never asked for a refund. Smile's Houskeeping never followed up with me, either. The woman I originally talked to, though willing to make appointments at my convenience, seemed tired of me rather than enthusiastic.

Overall, the house was cleaner when they left than when they arrived, but despite the fact they worked hard, there were too many shortcuts that I was disappointed with.

They are very responsive, listen to what you want done and do it

I was very pleased with the service once it was done. I think these women are hard workers, and deserve every penny they earn. We would definitely use them again. My suggestion to them would be to respond to phone or email messages more promptly. Otherwise, it was great!

It went well, except one of the two cleaners "put things away" so my husband and I couldn't find these things. overall, good cleaning, but too expensive.

We settled on a date for the cleaning. Staff arrived promptly and did a basically good cleaning job.

I used them for three or four months. Very nice people who I think wound up with more customers than they could handle. I used them for several months and they became erratic about arriving when they said they would. The cleaning started out just fine but deteriorated over time -- nothing horrible I would just find piles of things shoved into corners. I am not someone who micromanages or even gets too worked about housecleaning but this was just something I didn't want to have to deal with.

According to my daughter who received a Smile house cleaning gift from me last year, there were no problems and the work was excellent

Smiles came to clean my house and I provided a specific list of items for them to accomplish. They completed the work, but didn't do what I would describe as full/deep cleaning. I had problems with scheduling/completing an appointment. First they gave me a date, but didn't show, and when I called they told me it was for another day. When they did show up, they were on-time.

From an angies list Big-Deal - 4 hours of housecleaning for $69. I'm not sure how much of a deal this was because they had multiple people cleaning and were only here for maybe 1.5 hours. I've hired housecleaners in the past and it was a similar deal $70 for multiple people cleaning for about 1-2 hours. Regardless, it seems to be the price for this service so I'm not upset about it. They called to schedule the appointment, which was nice. They are the only angies list big deal I've purchased where the other person called me to do that. They did a good job.

After attempts at scheduling completed went very well and pleased with services

We scheduled an appointment but they never came and didn’t call and didn’t return voicemails/emails. My daughter kept calling the next day and the house cleaner said that she had left a message saying that she was going to miss the appointment and that she had been in the hospital. We rescheduled and then she didn’t show up again. When my daughter called back she said no longer worked on Saturdays anymore. I read other reviews from other members and she had used the same hospital excuse the day before. She was rude and annoyed and had no intention to find another day that worked or talk about a refund.

Wonderful service. Two lovely women came on time and were extremely efficient. They were professional and personable. I have signed up for ongoing cleaning service from them and have been very happy.

They did a good job cleaning. Some items were hard to find after they left, because they put them away in unexpected places. They are nice women (2 or 3 sisters come to clean) who take their work seriously. We found it difficult to schedule them, partly due to language problems (Spanish is their primary language). It would have worked better if we had a regular time for them to come, but that didn't seem to be possible due to their schedule. For that reason it became too difficult to schedule their visits and we stopped using them. However we suggest to anyone thinking of using them to give them a try. Depending on your personal schedule they may work well for you.

They did everything I asked in a timely, professional manner. I was very pleased with their work.
