Poorly. Contact was unresponsive and had a difficult time giving us a date that would work. When we finally did nail down a date and time, the cleaner showed up three hours late, and did a shoddy job. We found cheerios left behind after she left. Cheerios!

Really really well. Note from the tenants, "we came home to a sparkling apartment!" Catia was responsive to my multiple phone calls and texts, and helpful in working with my non-usual request. She did a great job. I purchased her services through the Big Deals, but I will be looking into scheduling her regularly with both the tenant's place and our own home.

I purchased the 4 hours of housecleaning big deal for Smile's Housecleaning since the price was right and they had favorable revies on Angie's list. They were booked several weeks out (likely due to the populatiry of the deal), and they just provided services today. Catia showed up promptly at the scheduled time with two helpers. Since this was their first time at my house, I gave them a walk through and they quickly got to work. I was impressed with the thoroughness of their cleaning. They moved pieces of furniture, dusted blinds, even vacuumed the uphostery of our sofa. They showed up at 8AM and were done by 9:30AM (we have a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath house -- approx. 1725 square feet). They did a great job and I'll likey use them again.

Pretty easy to deal with. Agreed upon a time and date. House was immaculate when done.

I have given up--I think it would be easier to schedule a meeting with President Obama. After multiple back and forth phone calls and then finally an appointment where she cancelled at the last minute by leaving a message on someone's voicemail other than mine, I decided to eat the $79. Actually, I would like my money back, but I'm not sure how to go about it. Some feedback for Catia and her team: Buy a calendar; use it. Buy a notebook; use it.

They did a fine job. They had to reschedule twice because we were little bit further out than their typical zone. They are Boston based and we are about 4 suburbs out. They realized they had to reschedule their dates to allow for the transportation and all other kind of stuff. I would tell my friends that they are perfectly adequate. They did what they were supposed to do; they placed a sparkle. The house was bigger than they expected.

They were very friendly. They finished in an hour. They were really nice. There are better companies out there. It was kind of difficult to get a hold of them.

The team did great work. We will now be using them monthly. Thanks again!

Smile's Housecleaning were very, very nice to deal with and work with. We weren't totally satisfied with their service so we moved on to another company. They were really nice to work with and schedule. They did a fairly decent job. There was just some areas where their attention to detail could have been a little bit better.

Smile's Housecleaning Co was very, very good. They were fantastic. They're very easy to reach, organized and are good listeners.

Four women came and had the place looking spotless in an hour. I would definately use their services again,

I have been very pleased with Catia and her Smile's Housecleaning Service. I hired her after buying an Angie's list coupon. I was very pleased by her professionalism and her service that I have hired the company to clean for me every other week. I am so happy to come home to a clean house. Smile Housecleaning Company is very efficient, professional and respectful of my home. I highly recommend this business

I really like them and have used them twice. They're great and do a great job cleaning the house. They're quick and efficient. I couldn't have been happier with their service.

To be fair: I have a old kitchen. The floor has long since past shiny and new. That said, I report the reasons for the "F" rating. Bottom line: The team left my old, tired kitchen floor with bleached out, permanant blotches. They said they would bring all cleaners but took one of my cleaners without my knowledge, pouring puddles of the cleaner (that should have been diluted and was not designed for floors) directly on the floor and then "scrubbing" it . Trouble booking the appointment: The team was supposed to come on 1/19/13. I had asked for a Monday 1/21/13 but was told that was not available so I rearranged my schedule to receive them on a Sat. morning. There were 3 phone called in the week before making final arrangements and confirming the appointment for 10 am on 1/19. On the morning of the appointment, without a phone call, she canceled BY EMAIL. I was waiting for them to come or called but Catia did not pick up. I left a message. An hour passed (waiting for a phone call or arrival) and I finally checked my email and discovered her cancellation. When she did contact me to reschedule, she suddenly had Monday openings but I was no longer available. We re-scheduled for Saturday 2/2/13 at 10 am. I asked her how many cleaners would come (If it were one cleaner then I would have to clear 4 hours and it were 2 cleaners than it would be from 10-12). I also asked what I needed to provide. She answered that there would be 2 people coming for 2 hours and they would bring everything but paper towels and garbage bags which I was to provide. I also asked her to communicate by phone. Despite my asking for phone communications from then on, an email confirmation was sent out 2 days before. The day of: Three (not 2) cleaners arrived at unexpectedly a half hour early @9:30 a.m. No notice or phone call about the early arrival was made. By the time, I got to the door, they were walking back to the car. (If I had been the basement or bathroom, they would have been gone.) They came in, I asked for the my old kitchen to be the top priority. I admitted:"I know it's old and tired and will not look new.." and asked, "Please, just wipe down all surfaces from top of cabinets to floor." I also asked for inside of frig and microwave to be done also. "If there is time, please dust and vacuum the living room, but only if there is time after the kitchen is cleaned." The cleaning was uneven: cabinets, counters, inside of frig were cleaned well but the range hood, window sills, stainless steel garbage can were not cleaned. Their big mistake was to pour one of my cleaners (without my knowledge or permision) that IS NOT DESIGNED FOR FLOORS directly on sections of the floor. (Again, they said that they would provide all cleaners.) The results were bleached out permanent large blotches amid the rest of old floor. One of the workers, after cleaning in the kitchen for 30 minutes, did dust and vacuum the hallway, dining room, and living room. The cleaning was fine but I discovered (hours after they left) 2 nicks in a glass the coffee table (left by vacuum wands dings??). I did not tell Catia of them when I called an hour later because I did not notice them until after I did the follow up call. Follow up: I called Catia about an hour after she left (when I saw the blotches) to tell her of the floor blotches and asked if she have used bleach on the floor. She said that she had used my cleaner, pouring it full strength directly on the floor and scrubbed those areas. When I told her of the resulting damage, she said that often, after a week, the color returns and to call her at the end of week and she would come back and "see what happened." After a week, I sent her pictures of the clearly permanent blotches to the floor. She called and did offer to come out but having found the unevenness of the quality in her team's work, 2 nicks in glass of coffee table (a table that has survived decades and 5 children without a nick) and damage to the floor, I did not want or her service back in the house. I had no confidence in her or her service and quite frankly feared more damage if she tried to fix it. Though the price was a special deal coupon, the cost of their service is obviously going to be much more than the coupon price.

I was very happy with this service. The girls came in, were nice and friendly, took a look around and we discussed what would be done. They cleaned pretty much my whole house (about 1800 sq ft) in the four hours. It was a general cleaning. It seemed like they would be easy to work with and they were reasonably priced (even if not using the big deal). I will most likely use them in the future.

We have a 3 floor house and we did the $79. trial. After the trial, you're never really sure how they are going to do. So we had their team come back for a non-trial, trial. If you will. They do a fantastic job and i couldn't recommend them more. They do the windows, the areas you can't see, they came the day after the blizzard in the snow. So far they have exceeded our expectations and they are now on a bi-weekly basis for cleaning our house. I've recommended them to friends and they will soon also start using their services. Highly recommended.

I bought this as a Big Deal and initially had a hard time scheduling an appointment due to the popularity of the deal. Then we set up and appointment and it had to be changed because of medical issues (no one's fault: I broke my foot, she got the flu!) But when we eventually connected it was a very good experience. The crew of 3 was early and arrived ready to go. Catia was very nice and very professional and the house was thoroughly cleaned in a short period of time. Even though her regular price is slightly higher than the cleaner I had been using I intend to stay with Smiles; the cleaning job was better and the same crew will come each time. (My other cleaner had a different person with him each time and I felt like I had to re-explain what I wanted over and over).

It took several calls before I received a call back from Smile's Housecleaning Service and was able to set up a date for a representative from the company to come out an give an estimate for cleaning my home. He did come at the time we'd arranged and looked around and wrote things on a clipboard. He answered some of my questions, and told me that I'd be contacted by phone or email with an estimate for cleaning my home. I never heard from the representative or company either by phone or email following that visit, and needless to say....never utilized their services.

The day before the appointment, I called to confirm they were coming as I've had bad experiences with previous companies where I had cleared my schedule for the appointment only for the cleaners not to show up. I got an email reply cancelling because Catie was sick. I said ok, hope she got well soon and asked her to give me other available dates. After 2 days of no response, I called to say I needed a response within 2 more days of I would just cancel and fund with Angie's List. She emailed back and we were able to work out a schedule. This time, Catie's crew made the appointment, although I had a mini-heart attack when I got home 5 mins. Before scheduled arrival to a message asking what my address was and what time she should be arriving and I was foreseeing a no-show again. But when I called her back, she was already on her way (running a few minutes late) and knew what time the appointment was. When I asked her later about it, she had left the house without my address and appointment time so she called me to get the info again, but later returned and was able to retrieve it herself. The crew arrived 20 mins. late and after a brief introduction and explanation of what to work on, went to work. I got an Angie's list coupon for 4 hours, so 3 women worked for 1 hr. 20 mins. and they made up for the late arrival. I have to say, they are the most thorough crew I've worked with, very quick and efficient, a tornado of activity, moving furniture out of the way, and getting about their business so that I was almost afraid to walk around and get in their way. They did an excellent job cleaning, but they didn't return some furniture, left lights on, etc., etc., which is not a big deal considering I was happy at how well they cleaned. All in all, Smile's is a good company--- maybe a little tweak in the professionalism/communications department (her emails are also terse) and punctuality and she'd be an A- level company.

We were in a pinch with old tenants moving out and new tenants moving in on the same weekend. Normally, I clean the apartment myself, but I saw this offer from Smile Cleaning on Angie's List and thought I would save some time and have them do the cleaning. The offer was for four hours of cleaning for $75. I called on Thursday to see if they could come on Friday morning. They were busy because they were getting a lot of calls from people who had bought the same offer. But, Smile Cleaning was able to change their schedule and come the next morning, which I greatly appreciated. The one bedroom apartment was empty because the tenants had already moved out. The Smile Cleaning crew of two women came and did a relatively good job of cleaning the apartment in 2 hours. I quickly looked around and was generally satisfied. I gave them the groupon plus a $10 tip. A day later I got a phone call from the new tenants. They said that the windows were very dirty when they moved in and they spent a lot of time cleaning them. Although I did not specifically ask Smile Cleaning to clean the windows, however, if they noticed they needed cleaning, I would have expected them to do them without me asking, especially since they had two hours left of cleaning. Now that I have some more experience with cleaning companies, I would not recommend them because they were not thorough in their work.

It was the first time I had used them. It went well. They were very thorough. They did something to the kitchen sink that made it sparkle like it never had before.

My experience with them was okay. It was neither bad nor great. I wouldn’t use them again.
