I spoke to Ryan on the phone and he answered all of my questions, he said the tech Eddie would be out the same day in a two hour window and Eddie was here within that window. Yes! Eddie was very professional, explained what was going on with my door and it was fixed very quickly. Goodrow Door Solutions is definitely going in my phone contacts!! Ryan and Eddie thank you very much - I now know first hand why you guys have so many A ratings!!

The doors are phenomenal, and the battery backed up openers are almost completely silent during operations vs. the old chain driven versions before. Good services and great work with excellent cleanup after the job. I would recommend Goodrow to anyone looking to have their garage doors updated and replaced.

Our experience was very good, of course, I expected it given the long list of Angies List reviews. I was very impressed when the guy I spoke to on the phone (Ryan) spent some time with me seeing if I could fix the door myself. Rather than sending out a tech for something that could have been easy, he gave me a bunch of his time to walk through a few things. That really impressed me. In the end, it wasn't simple and I wasn't able to fix it, and the tech had to come out. Ultimately the problem was a bad circuit board. They ordered it and replaced it; All went well. They were extremely flexible about schedule, and always were there right when they said they would be. The tech was very nice, and it all works well now.

They were very good. They were very professional. It’s a small company and, you know, the owner and maybe one employee own it. It felt like it wasn’t a subcontractor or anything. They seem to have a personal interest. They do a good job.

It was a little scary because I had icicles hanging down. They helped me put down salt and said that after it warmed up, they'd come back out to work on the garage door. They were very helpful to me. They were fantastic. They'll be back out today to finish up.

I was very happy at the time, but since, my door won't go down without popping back up automatically. I have to close it manually. I don't know that they have anything to do with that. When they came, they were very prompt and helpful, and I think of them very positively. I would recommend them to anyone who asked.

The technician was great, and the service performed was fine but my understanding of the price quoted me was well below what they charged, despite there being no additional work needed. The company will surely respond here and say that I was mistaken, but if I had known the true price I would have chosen another provider for this basic job. Be sure you know the charge before they come out.

The tech, Jason showed up on time and got right to work. He was very professional. He checked both door openers and gave me report for both of them with recommendations to replace them in the future. He also adjusted both doors so that they closed with less space at the bottom. He replaced the rollers on one of the doors as per the deal and one of the sheaves on one door which was shuddering when opening and closing. I would definitely call on Goodrow Doors again to service my garage doors and probably to replace the motors in the future.

I requested a quote from Goodrow. Visit for Quote was scheduled for the next day. Tech (Jason) was on time and explained the process. Scheduled a date & time through Eliot for the work. (called Tuesday, scheduled Wednesday) Jason was early, thorough, answered all my questions and demonstrated the openers. Left the job site spotless and in 2.5 hours. Pleased homeowner with the entire process.

Very professional and on time. After analyzing the doors (heavy), he recommended replacing one of the openers. The doors are running very smooth.

Jason came to my house and said they don't need a tune-up because our garage door is very old and what we really need is a door replacement. It's going to be a much bigger job, so I spoke with Elliot and Jason about planning the replacement work next year. I'm so glad I met them! They're wonderful, extremely reliable, and I feel they were very genuine. They were also very efficient for scheduling and very responsive. I'd give them an A+ if I could!

While we had made it clear that we simply wanted the existing door repaired, we were given the full court press "new door upsell" from the first moment. The technician did show up on time. However, rather than looking at the door, he first handed my wife a glossy brochure full of brand new doors. When she told him we really just want the existing one fixed, he went and had a look. He then pronounced the door unfixable - it would take hours and cost hundreds of dollars. Today we had Mortland come by and in 60 minutes the door is as good as it was before I accidentally broke it and it cost me only $125. That's more like it. Because of where we live, we're used to vendors seeing dollar signs when we call. But we're not all bleeding money and we appreciate getting value for money. Thanks, Mortland!

Jason came within two hours of my initial call. He spent about an hour diagnosing and repairing the problem. He was courteous,, knowledgeable, thorough and professional. He even checked the adjacent bay's motor operation. I would definitely call Goodrow again for future garage door issues. Superb service, particularly as compared to my previous service provider, who has since gone out of business.

It went really well! They were right on time and he was very skilled. He was helpful in recommending a few safety considerations for my older door cables, which I had him implement. The door has held up fine since they came out to do the work, and it sounds much quieter. I also appreciate that he didn't try to upsell me. He was polite and professional enough that I felt very comfortable with him at the house, and even leaving him alone. I'll definitely be calling him again if needed!

They arrived on-time to do the estimate and explained and showed samples of my options. They had to get a contractor to look at one of the options I was considering, but they were the only one that took the time to do that. They emailed an estimate, I gave them a deposit, they ordered the door. The door came in within the timeframe they told me. They send an email to schedule the installation. The guys arrived promptly on the installation day, work well, and cleaned up after themselves.

The technician installed new nylon rollers on both of my garage doors and new sheaves on one door. The extra cost over the initial $89 offer was to install nylon rollers on the 2nd door and to install the new sheaves on one door. I didn't realize at the time that the $89 offer included replacing the rollers on only one door. Overall, my technician (Jason) was very professional, answered all of my questions and did solid work. Doors work great and I am considering having them back out to install new (quieter) garage door openers

Oustanding results after a clear explanation of the job. I had a special order door so it took a little longer but Jason and Elliot kept me informed about the process through email and phone calls and provided a clear invoice of the project. The installation was top notch and the garage was cleaner after the job than before.

It turned out fine. They were very responsive, fair, easy to work with, and were good guys. I would use them again.
