The guy was fine. He spent about 6 hours on my doors. They were about 50 years ago and he showed me what was wrong with them. I was really happy with what he did. It was a little pricier than expected, but the work was done. He did substanitially more than what the deal was supposed to be for. The original door was never installed properly, so it was a much bigger job than expected.

They were excellent. They were very polite. They have given me instructions on what I'm suppose to watch out for.

I purchased the big deal coupon for this service and it was fine. They did a good job. They actually called me to schedule the appointment and they were there. They responded very fast. This is the first time I think I’ve used them. They were okay and definitely not bad at all. I would recommend them. I actually wasn’t at home when they came, but I did not need to be home for them to do the work. I haven’t had any issues since they replaced my garage door opener. It’s all fine. I didn’t have to call them but they called me.

He did many things to correct which were not completed by the last provider (Angies List, also). Jason went clearly beyond the routine reconditioning, and fully explained the proper workings of my garage door. I should add that the owner, Jay Goodrow, was most professional in handling this job, communicating with me without waiting for me to call, and most helpful in selecting a convenient time to meet.

The installer arrived as scheduled and was very courteous. He completed the removal of the old garage doors and installed the new garage doors and re-programmed the remote controls for the door openers in a day. He also installed a key pad on the garage for exterior access for both doors. The only issue he had was the weather stripping for around the doors which wasn't the correct size so he told me he would return the next morning and install the weather stripping to complete the job. he returned the next morning as scheduled and completed the job.

I WENT ON ANGIES LIST FOR GARAGE DOOR SERVICE PROVIDERS. THIS COMPANYS NAME CAME UP SO I CALLED AND ASKED FOR A PRICE TO REPLACE THE SPRINGS ON ONE OF THE GARAGE DOORS. THEY RESPONDED RIGHT AWAY AND I HAD THEM DO THE REPAIR. THE FOLLOWING MONTH I DECIDED TO HAVE THE LOWER WEATHERSTRIP GASKETS REPLACED AND WHEN THE OLD ONES WERE TAKEN OFF WE FOUND THE BOTTOM OF DOOR ROTTED. GOODROW DOOR COMPANY ORDERED A NEW SECTION AND THE FOLLOWING WEEK CAME BACK AND REPLACED IT. THE COMPANY DID A VERY GOOD JOB AT A FAIR PRICE AND I WILL USE THEM AGAIN FOR FUTURE SERVICE.

Everything went really smoothly. They were very professional...on time, and they left the place very clean. I'd highly recommend them. :)

Jay and his team were great from the start. They arrived for the estimate at the planned time and spent a good amount of time getting all the details needed to ensure a proper fit. This was key for me as the door size was not standard and there were obstructions in the way of the rail system. They had a large variety of doors to choose from and we were able to get the door I wanted. On installation day they were again on time and completed very quickly and removed all of the old door and left nothing behind. The door fits perfect in our non standard opening and looks great.

They performed as expected. Good job and would recommend.

I felt like it really did not help to be honest. Our garage door still makes a lot of noise. It was not as useful as it was made out to be. They were fine and did what they were supposed to do. I feel like I spent money on something that was not going to work. They did not say that it was not going to be helpful. Which I would have preferred to here that. I would have rather heard there recommendations, like the deal was not going to work and I would have preferred to get the garage door opener replaced. I paid more because they did both garage doors, so it was $300. Getting them to come out was not a problem. I would not use them again.

I bought the $50 package and the man came, looked at it and told me i was in trouble with my door. Rather than risking it Ihad him do what he recommended and he applied the coupon value to it. He did it quickly and well. Now no more problem.

I was very pleased with the service performed to tune up my garage door. After the tune-up my garage door is no longer sticking. The provider was professional. The only issue was just trying to find a time to schedule the appointment with them in the beginning but once that was done everything was great. Would highly recommend this company. \

came early, after checking with me, explained what would be done, explained extra services that would eventually need to be done but was not pushy when I rejected them at the present time. I was pleased with the service and would use the company again if the need arose.

The tech was supposed to arrive between 10 AM and 12 noon. He did call close to noon to say he would be arriving within the half hour. He was late due to traffic. He apologized and explained that he had had difficulty programming the remote on his last job due to a faulty motor. The temp was about 96 with high humidity, so I felt bad for him. He accepted some cold water and paper towels to wipe the sweat away. He worked quickly. When he finished the installation, he explained the remote, safety features, etc. If and when I decide to replace the other garage door opener, I will certainly contact Goodrow again. I had planned to call an make an appointment in the fall, but a rep call me. This was a surprise, but I guess getting the business earlier was good for the company.

It went ok. Although the ad made it seem as though the cost included the repair parts. So we were surprised that it was more than the ad quoted. The tech was polite and professional.

Purchased the Angie's Deal for garage door reconditioning. Company was very good about scheduling as I kept having conflicts and needed to change the date of service. They were very accommodating. They came when they said they would and performed the reconditioning and even changed the battery in our outside pad for no charge. The only negative (call it more a non positive) was that we didn't get a good description of what they did during the service. We have two garage doors and I am not sure if they reconditioned both or picked the one that was in the worst shape. The doors are working fine and the battery pad is much better so overall a good experience.

They did very good. They came out on time and they did the work they promised. The staff was very knowledgeable. I used the big deal. They called right back. They came out when they said they were going to, which is huge with contractors.

They're easy to work with. They were friendly and seem honest.

Two men came within a couple of hours after my initial contact. I believe they were both principals in the company. They diagnosed the problem quickly and went right to work. They obviously knew what they were doing. (It was no surprise to me that the original motor needed replacing, since I had had it installed in 1990.) They had with them all the tools and parts they needed and they completed the job in about an hour. I was present while they carried out their work. They answered all my questions and were courteous and good-humored. My garage door is now operating as it should, and I am satisfied with the results. I recommend them to others with garage door problems.

Big Deal was to replace rollers, lubricate, and inspect. Additional repairs were needed which they took care of on the spot. Not inexpensive but work was good. Minor beef was sticker with their contact info affixed to glass window of garage door (especially as two other such stickers attached elsewhere in less obtrusive spots.
