My garage door broke less than two days before my husband and I were leaving for vacation, so I called at least 3 garage door companies, and Jay was willing to come out the next day. He came on time, fixed the problem, and added some safety cables (the door is old and lacked them). He did the job quickly and efficiently, and my husband and I are very happy with the work! We will definitely use this company again!

really a great experience as he was finished in about 35 minutes.  he even gave me some advise on maintaining the exterior of th egarage doors and was not looking to get more work as he was describing DIY type of things.

They did a good job, The only complaint is that the doors are a bit too short in length and they had to put a strip if plastic molding around the edge of the door that makes it look a little cheap. Also, the door lands on the ground a little unevenly and this makes the door settle off horizontal which shows the unfinished edge of the door. I think this could have been avoided if the man who came out to measure had added an inch or two to the width of the door and tested the door once installed to see if a rubber bumper was needed to keep it horizontal.

I decided to use them over the competition because of their quick response back and it was a family business.  I don’t have anything to compare their price with.

We needed our 3 overhead doors replaced and called several companies.  Jay Goodrow was quick to respond.  Jay listened to our needs and concerns (my husband and I could not agree on door types etc.).  Compared to the other companies we felt Jay was the most knowledgeable and had the best prices.  Above all else Jay provided excellent customer service. Jay helped us choose the door that was best for our budget and our home.  He and his partner installed the doors and they look fantastic.  What a difference.  Of all the work we have done to our home I think we get the most compliments on our new garage doors.Since the installation Jay has even called us to check in and make sure everything was ok!  I could not be happier.  I would  highly recommend Jay Goodrow to anyone!

I found Jay, owner of Goodrow Overhead Door, in the yellow pages for the South Shore.  Jay came over to provide an estimate for the installation of new garage doors.  He was very pleasant and his price was very fair.  After meeting other garage door professionals and getting other estimates we decided to go with Jay.  He arrived on the promised date and time as stated in an email to me.  The installation of the garage doors was done within four hours and Jay did a great time.  Jay is a very nice man and I would recommend him to anyone.
