I have known Pamela Lloyd-Baker for a period of 15 years. I have happily availed myself of her decorating services in two different locations during the course of that time. I was so pleased with her helpful and creative ideas in the planning and remodeling of the kitchen of our Brewster Cape Cod home that I sought her out when we moved to a second home in another town, The first and foremost commendable trait is her ability to look at a room and instinctively size it up as far as design elements are concerned. I was so grateful for her suggestions for the first house that I fully trusted her taste and judgment for the second and was not disappointed. Secondly, Pamela is most attentive to detail. She could be counted on to keep her word on every business dealing that we had. She always ferreted out information for me and called me with it in a timely fashion. She attended to every detail in ordering fabric, carpet, furniture, window treatments etc. and always called to explain a delay if such was the case. She kept on top of everything. Thirdly Pamela listened to me and did not try to f**** her own taste on me. I feel that my new home reflects me ..... my lifestyle and possessions, rather than be a show case for her ideas only. She guided me, very tactfully and respectfully, to make choices that were in keeping with my practical needs but with good taste. When she saw a drapery installation needed correction, she took care of the problem by having the sewing company re-do the sewing of the drapery, Her attention to detail pleased me because she had my satisfaction uppermost in her mind and did not hesitate to go 'to bat' for me. All in all, I would highly recommend Pamela as a trustworthy, fair, sensible, businesslike, dependable, conscientious, highly creative woman with a wonderful sense of humor. We were looking to redesign the interior of our Victorian Style Beach House to give it a more elegant look and comfortable feel. While searching for an interior designer, I came across the website for Beautiful Spaces by Pamela Lloyd-Baker and immediately fell in love with her style and use of color. Considering that we only use the house during the summer months and holidays and we are also considering renting the house, we challenged Pamela to give us that beautiful elegant look with the durability to stand up to renters within a reasonable budget. We have been working with Pamela for two months and she is a joy with an infectious passion for life that clearly shines through in her work. Her eye for color and design layout, combined with a natural artistic talent is quite evident at every step of the process. Pamela's expertise, passion and focus have made this experience fun, efficient and easier than we ever expected. Pamela presented us a vast variety of wonderful colors and style choices for each part of the design to ensure that our preferences would be incorporated and fit nicely with the historic attributes of our unique home. Thus far we have ordered the furniture, fabrics, rugs, lighting fixtures and art work and have changed the paint color of the walls. While we are eagerly looking forward to seeing the final design, we could not be happier with the design process and friendship we have forged with Pamela!

Pamela Lloyd-Baker did an outstanding job updating my living room, dining room and family room. She worked with me in the selection of furniture, fabrics, drapery treatment and accessories. Her many years of experience in the design field have provided her with the knowledge and ability to create the pefect setting. She did an incredible job and exhibited true professionalism throughout the entire project. I had seen Ms. Baker's work in a friend's home where she worked closley with the builder to incorporate her expertise in placement of windows, electric outlets, closet and kitchen design to meet her client's needs. The result was that my friend had absolutely no issues when her home was completed. Once Ms. Baker had finished decorating her home the minute you walked into it there was a feeling of comfort - yet understated elegance done in a very tasteful manner. I wanted to move in immediately - unfortunately, it was not my home. So I entlisted Ms. Baker to assist me with my project. Ms. Baker worked closely with me to make sure that the budget she was working with was closely monitored. She went out of her way to provide me with a lovely selection of fabrics, furniture choices and whatever was necessary to create the desired effect that I was looking for in my home. There was never any issue with her accountability. I would not hesitate to recommend Ms. Baker for any aspect of design work that you might be considering. She is an extraordinarily talented and gifted interior designer. The client's needs are foremost in her mind and her honesty is impeccable. She is a true leader in the field of interior design.

I am pleased to recommend Pamela Lloyd-Baker for her interior design and decorating services. My husband and I recently moved to Cape Cod from Connecticut and downsized from a large home to a condominium. Pamela was able to vision and articulate a new look for our contempory Cape style home using most of the furniture and accessories that we chose to keep. She has a talent for leveraging our personal taste and incorporating new ideas to compliment our colors and style. Pamela is very creatiive and provided new ideas for coordinating colors, fabrics, furniture, lamps, rugs and accessories to achieve the overall look and feel that we wanted to accomplish. In addition to her creative talent, Pamela is flexible and easy to work with. She was always on time for our appointments and worked efficiently to make the most use of our time with her. I left Pamela to stage my new home, rethink paint for the walls, hang art work and provide window drapery. I was nothing short of astonished when I returned to my apartment to find it completely reconfigured with furniture so artfully placed that the space seemed larger and airier than the original home I had left. I think one of the most impressive features was how a collection of art was rehung to accent the shades of my new walls and the color and texture of my upholstered furniture. Pamela had suggested "less is best" and by eliminating items that no longer worked and by introducing some charming new accents to pull the rooms together, I am left with a new home that has drawn many very favorable compliments. A talented designer I have recommend to many friends.

The first time we worked with Pamela we went over the current paint colors for each room in the house. She helped us pick out new ones that create a flow and helps the house feel more like a home. In addition to paint colors we have laid new rugs, curtains, and art that truly complete the space. We have used all of her input and she has never pointed us in a bad direction. We are now re-doing our kitchen and have asked Pamela to help us devise the plan for the cabinets, counter tops, and floor. We created what looks like to be a great plan and I am excited to see the finished product.
