Beautiful Spaces

This is our third interior design project with Pamela. She is an absolute pleasure to work with and a true professional. She has an exceptional overall design vision and an exquisite eye for color and detail. Pamela's passion for design is evident in the beautiful spaces she creates. We are thrilled with our finished condo and would highly recommend Pamela's services.

We were expecting to hire an interior designer as a member of the rebuilding team, but received so much more from Pam than strictly interior design. After we hired her in 2017, she quickly became our valued partner in visualizing solutions to make our burned-out house a home again and MORE! She knew this was an emotional and challenging time for us, and made every effort to help us streamline a complicated list of decisions. Whether advising us on architectural design/layout, new furnishings, cabinetry/carpentry, fabric/wall colors, art placement, bathroom tile and décor, and other finishes, Pam's deep experience with building projects and interior design was immensely helpful. She was constantly looking for solutions that would save us money and still meet our quality standards. Budget-minded, resourceful, well-connected to subs, creative, hardworking, responsible, respectful, fun and, above all, supportive, Pam is a gem. Whether you are looking to trust someone with a major project or a simpler one, Pam will deliver excellent customer service and stay on task until every aspect of the job is completed. We moved back into our home in June 2019, and Pam continues to consult with us on ongoing interior decisions. She's earned our sincere gratitude and friendship. Call her before calling anyone else!

My husband and I are downsizing and moving to the Cape. We needed advice regarding how to best utilize furniture from our larger home and specifically how to place it in the new home. We also wanted a professional opinion regarding new furniture and its placement in a sunroom. We had not worked with a designer prior to this, so were a bit apprehensive that our ideas might not be in step with a designer's. We quickly shelved our worries when we met Pamela. She listened to us and incorporated our ideas into her plan, yet was not afraid to disagree (very pleasantly and correctly). We are now able to move forward with specific guidelines for furniture purchases, paint colors and drapery designs. We enjoyed our consultation with Pam and will continue to work with her in the future. Her pricing is reasonable and she made us feel that our small project required as much professionalism and attention to detail as a much larger project.

We really enjoyed working with Pamela. She was very flexible and available to meet our schedule, her rate was very reasonable and she was prompt and responsive in getting quotes. She understood that we were looking for advice. We handled many of the purchases while she provided her designer account access/discount for other items. We would choose to work with Pamela again and recommend her to friends.

It went beautifully; Pamela clearly knows how to design a room and make it flow cohesively right into the next room. This was our 4th home, but our first with an open concept. She helped us obtain new window treatments, get favorite pieces re-upholstered, order new furniture, and have all the fabric intertwine together to make a beautiful effect in the 3 rooms we decorated. Many times Pam would arrive laden down with swatches from the Design Center, and we pored over all the choices, as she guided us in selecting materials. Pamela also told us when she thought something was fine as it is, and to leave it be. She was very helpful, as she led us in this process, e.g. when she thought some things, that I assumed I needed, were unnecessary. Pam has a great eye and pointed out areas in which we needed to soften our angles by using round shapes. She was able to work with some unique decorating preferences of mine, and use the color palette I had planned, so we could achieve a welcoming, light and airy look. The professionals Pam brought into the project, from the trade, were excellent. My reupholstered pieces are stunning, the window pelmets are fabulous, and the new furniture is gorgeous and comfy. We were grateful that Pamela was available to work with us and would do so again in a heartbeat!

Wow - my house has been transformed! Ms. Baker toured my house, gave recommendations, and then we shopped for the necessary items to pull the house together. I am so grateful to have found Pamela; she has extensive knowledge about interior design, and is kind and fun to be with. The stress of decorating melts away when I am with her. Looking forward to working with Pamela on additional updates in the future.

Pam is a great resource for remodeling. She has a good sense of the customer's goals and works well with them. We were impressed with her offer to show us work that she has had done in her own home. Seeing in person is much better than looking at photos. We are really happy with her style. It Is very fitting with our vacation home. I would use her again if we have another project.

My wife and I found Pamela to be an exceptionally professional, no-nonsense interior designer. She listens and communicates very well. She took our desires and tastes into consideration and gave us many ideas that are within our budget. Pamela has good instincts and she speaks her mind. We found her approach to be quite refreshing. She has an excellent feel for style, fabric and color, and how to artfully blend all these together. She didn’t tell us what we wanted to hear; she told us what we needed to hear. She opened our eyes to several helpful design ideas. We both felt we got much more than we expected with Pam and we look forward to continuing to work with her on our home upgrades.

Pamela is professional and knowledgeable. She is easy to work with and has wonderful ideas. It didn't take her much time to assess the areas and make recommendations on décor and furniture placement. She has a pleasant and warm personality and a wonderful eye for color. It was a pleasure working with her and I will reach out to her again for future projects and ideas.

extremely well. firstly, pamela has a very pleasing personality, very knowledgeable in her field of interior design, straight to point without a lot of excess, unimportant verbiage. pamela takes into consideration what is already in the house and works with the situation very well and made my husband and i feel very comfortable with the process. i look forward to a continued professional relationship with pamela.

Pamela came to my home and we spent a couple hours discussing my objectives and style preferences for redecorating several rooms. She was intuitive in understanding my specific tastes and what I wanted to achieve. She followed up quickly with a detailed written assessment and recommendations. I was pleased with her working style, follow up, and professionalism and so we engaged in a further working relationship. To date, she has been very helpful in guiding me and suggesting solutions for window treatments in the living room and dining room which have since been installed. We collaborated on a basic furniture layout for a very small living area and its challenges. She worked with me on a sofa style and helped me select a fabric that would blend well with the decor. I desired two leather sitting chairs and she provided good advice and options given the space constraints in the room. She also provided an excellent catalogue of nautical art to browse through and I immediately liked the one she suggested for one of the walls which would be over a console table. Pamela also found the console table for me. She offered to get the art piece framed and matted for me, and I couldn't be happier with her choice. I also sent her a web link displaying several styles of buffet lamps for the console table and she quickly responded with her favorites which matched a couple of my favorites. I ordered two of them on line and they look great on the table with the art work above. In summary, I am very pleased with Pamela's energy and follow up. Her sense of style, color, and texture as well as her portfolio of resources has helped me immensely in navigating through this process.

The process went very smoothly and very quickly. Pam was able to place the art the right room and with appropriate other art work. she also knows how to organize groups of art. I was surprised that she was able to locate all of the 60 or so pictures in less than two hours. I wish we had her help years ago. We would have enjoyed the house so much more!

Pamela was wonderful. I purchased the 90 minute consultation which also included a written report. I was amazed as to how much we were able to accomplish in the time allotted. Pamela has a great eye, much experience and it was so easy to convey and define my style preference with her. I highly reccommend Pamela!

Pamela Lloyd-Baker is an outstanding professional. She came at the agreed upon time and has the most charming demeanor. She listened to me and asked appropriate questions. She had wonderful suggestions for me and tried to incorporate my ideas along with her ideas. I would wholeheartedly recommend her for any interior decoration job, large or small.

We were able to meet with Pam within days of requesting a meeting. She was very flexible with our schedule and met on a Sunday morning. We needed help choosing new paint colors for an entire house. Pam was able to assist us with this and more. Everything that we had hoped to accomplish was done during our meeting. First, of all, Pamela was an absolute delight to work with....professional, incredibly knowledgeable, fair, discussed everything beforehand with me and was more than willing to make adjustments needed. What stands out in my mind was the easy (and frequent) communication between us. Second, Pamela is truly an "expert" in her field. A few examples: I had one small kitchen window looking over my backyard and the contractor was going to keep the same size window, but put in a window box. Pamela said your backyard is lovely and you should see it, so why not put in three windows which would also allow much more light. Great idea! Another example: I have a very small den off the kitchen and it had three small windows, which the contractor had suggested replacing with one large picture window. Pamela said the three small windows that you have perfectly fit in this small room and if you put in one large window, you would be looking at your neighbor's old shed! She suggested keeping the windows and with the money saved to buy a beautiful French door for the den leading out to the backyard. What a difference! I had the upstairs bathroom completely gutted by a different contractor. Once he met Pamela, going forward, he discussed everything with her and commented to me how fortunate I was to have found her. I absolutely love my bathroom and so many of my friends have raved about it. I could go on and on, but I'm sure you get the picture.
