Description of Work: They performed a home inspection on a property I had offered to buy. I thought their voluminous report and comments were superficial. So many things were completely generalized or "not in their scope" or within their professional capacity. And there was always an excuse regarding why a particular issue couldn't really be evaluated. Many things were glossed over, and I thought they provided a very inadequate examination of the property. Have been told that most home inspection companies do very little specific evaluations.

Description of Work: Gianni was on time, actually he was early. He was extremely thorough and got the job done quickly. We appreciated that he wasn't one of those people who just talk to sound like they know something; he was to the point. In between sections he'd go back and work on the report as we went along to keep the content fresh. He made a number of recommendations, was knowledgeable, polite, and friendly. This is our second time using Tiger. Tiger had the most competitive price. Also, the home we are purchasing is only 7 years old; noting that perhaps it went more quickly and with less issues to address than an older home.

Description of Work: Wonderful! The inspector really took the time to go through every single nook and cranny with me. I asked a ton of questions, and he was able to answer all of them satisfactorily. Additionally, when he sent me over the report, it generated more questions on my part. I sent him an email of 18 questions and the next evening we spoke on the phone for about a half hour to make sure all of my questions were answered as completely as possible. After reading other reviews, I was definitely concerned. However, our inspector was professional, extremely detail oriented, and very nit picky (which, during an inspection, is appreciated). I'm sure it depends on the inspector you get, as with any company, but I would request him again if I ever needed it.

Description of Work: Scott was very thorough inspecting both the outside and inside of the condo. Explained issues as he found them and made sure I understood. The inspection took about 2 1/2 hours and I had a written report that evening.

Description of Work: I was greeted by an inspector in training who seemed to have a thorough understanding of home inspections. I only learned he was training when the senior inspector arrived. The gentlemen were timely, intelligent and pointed out some issue's the General Contractor should have know and eventually corrected.

Description of Work: THE INSPECTOR (FRANK) WAS VERY THOROUGH. IT IS A LARGE HOUSE AND THE INSPECTION TOOK ABOUT 4 HOURS. HE WAS GOOD AT EXPLAINING WHAT HE SAW AND RECOMMENDING THINGS TO WATCH.

Description of Work: NEEDED TO HAVE AN INSPECTOR SEE THE HOUSE BEFORE PUTTING ON THE MARKET. THE INSPECTOR SEEMED TIRED AND NOT AS SERIOUS ONCE HE FOUND OUT THAT WE WERE THE SELLERS. HE MISSED TWO VERY IMPORTANT PROBLEMS THAT WERE DISCOVERED SHORTLY AFTER. 1) HE DID NOT INSPECT THE ROOF AT ALL AND WE DISCOVERED A WEEK LATER THAT SOME OF THE SIDING WAS ROTTEN AND THAT THE FLASHING ON ONE SIDE OF THE ROOF WAS DEFECTIVE. 2) ONE OF THE TOILETS HAD A LEAK THAT DAMAGED THE CEILING OF THE ROOM BELOW. THIS WAS DISCOVERED ONE DAY AFTER THE INSPECTION.
