Description of Work: They painted my kitchen walls, and ceilings in kitchen, dining, living and one bedroom. Very professional, punctual and they did a good job cleaning up when they were done

Description of Work: They provided an estimate that was the highest of 3. He also suggested a primer coat that the other companies did not feel was necessary (more $). The responsiveness was slow. During the walk through they were professional and thorough. I am confident that they would have done an OK job. I had a much better experience with the company I selected.

Description of Work: I received an estimate to paint my entire condo. Thought it was too high. Then I asked how much for just two bedrooms and the master closet. I wound up saving hundreds of dollars going with another company.

Description of Work: I needed my condo painted as well as the cathedral ceilings(which had smoke damage from my fireplace). I called several painting companies and then turned to Angie's list for painters. I picked Quality Preferred as it was close by and called. I spoke with Steve Austin regarding the work and we set up a date for him to come by and look at my condo (July 17th) and him gave me an estimate on the work as well as a couple of other items that I was interested in having painted. When he came back with the estimate I noted that I had a coupon for using Angie's list. I was looking for the work to be completed as soon as possible and we set a date for the first week of August, as Steve had a job to finish. I picked out my colors for paint from California paint sample and Steve was able to match the color. I was quite pleased with the results and his professionalism. He called me, as I was away at a family wedding, that the job was complete and to call if I had any questions or if there was anything that I was not happy with. I would recommend Quality Preferred Painting and would used their services again. This is my second pleasant experience using an Angie's listing.

Description of Work: Steve Austin, owner was very accomodating. He was quite busy when I initially called him for an estimate, and didn't think he could take on another job. However when hanging up, I thanked him and told him that I'd try another "Angie's List" preferred provider. After mentioning Angie, Steve quickly reassessed his schedule and although he was very, very busy, he made time to squeeze my job in. The project was a repair after a flood from the apartment above. Ceiling needed plastering and painting. Floors needed to be stripped and refinished. Walls need wallpaper removed and replaced. Steve and his crew did it all. Everything was perfect, but if I could chose one of the several items done by Quality Preferred Painting, it would be the wallpapering. The worker worked so fast that I was concerned about the end product. My concern was quickly replaced by elation. Wallpapering seems to be dying out, replaced by painting. It is difficult to get a good and experienced wallpaper hanger. Just love the finished work. In addition, I had a small foyer stripped and walllpapered- beautiful vintage Victorian wallcovering- perfectly matched. Just lovely!
