We had all the interior of our home painted and some carpentry work done as well. In addition, we had our kitchen cabinets painted white to modernize the appearance. We had a railing placed in our home. The Quality of the Painting was Exceptional. The painters did an outstanding job. Their work was of high quality and detailed oriented. They were always on time and extremely neat. It was a pleasure to have the painters in our home. Our home looks refreshed and beautiful. We would hire Quality Preferred Painting again. Steve and his crew do exceptional work - professional, reliable, conscientious and top quality. It is obvious that they care about the quality of their work and they understand that the key to a good paint job is preparation and attention to detail. Steve's crew worked extremely hard to prepare my home to accept its latest coat of paint, and the results speak for themselves as they produced a nearly flawless job. I have had my house painted 3 or 4 times over the years and Steve's work was by far the best - not even close. You cannot go wrong with these guys.

Steve and his team did a great job renovating our home on Cape Cod. It was a big job as it was basically a total gut due pipes bursting and going unchecked for days. His guys were prompt and professional and did very good work in particular custom carpentry work and exterior and interior painting. Overall I was very satisfied with Quality Preferred and would recommend them for jobs both large and small.

We picked Mr. Steve Austin and his company, Quality Preferred, prior to discovering he had already won this award. The reason we chose him was because he stood head and shoulders above a number of other bidders on the job, for three salient reasons. 1. He took copious notes on every aspect of the job; 2. he so obviously wanted to do the very best job possible because he discussed each part of it with us in detail, always encouraging us to make the best improvement possible in a given area; 3. Steve got back to us quickly with a detailed estimate which was crystal clear on what was projected to be done. Further, Steve started precisely when he said he would. As well, on the first day he must have been on-site a couple of hours, making certain his workers understood precisely what they were to do, walking through the smallest details with them, treating them with respect, entertaining their opinions. His workers were exceptionally professional, courteous, and punctual. They have worked a number of years for Steve. One of them detailed the companies he's worked for and said Steve was by far and away the best boss, better even than his own father! They clearly revere Steve, and the duration of their employment testifies to good working relationships. Steve proved flexible. An improvement in the kitchen he'd suggested--replacing tiles with beadboard--on which we initially demurred, once the job started, we decided Steve was right and he accommodated the additional work, doing a superb job. When this required us to bring in an electrician, Steve's workers cooperated with the electrician; hence, that additional, unplanned, piece of the project was accomplished with dispatch. The electrician, from a local company, complemented Steve's workers in adjusting what they were doing to his needs, thereby enabling him to accomplish his work faster. The quality of the work completed is impeccable. Steve not only started on time but ended on time, even given that we asked for a couple more pieces of work to be done along the way. He also subcontracted the refinishing of the floors; those workers were as prompt, efficient, and professional as if they worked directly for Steve. The work was excellent as well. We endorse Steve, his workers, and his company enthusiastically for this award with no reservation whatsoever!

Excellent quality work. The job was completed in a timely manner, and the place looks great. We have already rehired them to replace a few doors.

Overall a great experience., Steve Austin, the owner came out and reviewed what work needed to be done, and provided a quote. Each day Steve and the the workers explained what they would be doing that day. They did wonderful work as much of the house needed to be sanded and primed. Steve and his crew were excellent.

Excellent!! Anthony (foreman) and crew did an exceptional job removing wall paper and painting several rooms in our home. They were professional and meticulous. We would definitely recommend them as well as use them again either for interior or exterior painting.

Painters were professional and took pride in their work. It wasn’t an easy job as it was a stucco exterior and the paint had to be rolled on. I get compliments regularly on it.

Extremely well. When I met with Steve, the owner of the company, for the estimate, he gave me some great ideas & I’m so glad that I went with them. The painting is flawless. I couldn’t be happier. I also had my hardwood floors refinished. If I hadn’t seen the floors ahead of time, I would have thought they were new floors. They are just beautiful.

Today the Quality Preferred Painting crew finished another job on our house. This is the 4th time we've hired them. They repainted our finished basement ceiling after we had a mold issue fixed, then sealed and repainted the inside of an exterior-facing concrete wall that had some paint damage from moisture transfer, re-painted our front door, and then prepped and re-painted the exterior trim of our house around where we had a huge bay window installed. As always they did a terrific job, were always on time (early, actually) and meticulous in detail. Hire Steve and his crew -- they will do a fantastic job for you.

I would like to compliment you highly on your staff. Absolute top marks to the two of them! I appreciated you being able to start the job so quickly after giving us an estimate. Sagrado and Jimmy did a beautiful job and are a great team. They arrived on time both days they were here, took about 10 minutes tops for lunch the first day, stayed til they finished a large part of the work and finished the job the next day. They were very organized and neat in their work also, leaving the equipment and cans covered and moved into a corner for the night. The whole job looks terrific! The repaired cathedral ceiling and walls look like new and the kitchen and hallway ceilings are bright and clean. They masked everything with plastic and drop cloths for each stage of the project so the house stayed perfectly clean and dragged those huge ladders in and out without a scratch anywhere in the house. They were fun to listen to also, got along well, and worked very well together. The tinted shellac primer did the trick and the finished paint looks wonderful. I have used Quality Preferred Painting on and off for 15 years and I recently hired them to repaint the entire interior of a single family rental house in the Hingham. The crew was there everyday for two weeks as scheduled and on time. They performed magic to the interior of the house over that time. They made little mess and they cleaned up daily before leaving. I changed some of the work order mid-stream and they easily complied with my requests and performed the tasks with aplomb. They had good suggestions when I needed them and they helped me in paint selections when asked to do so. And they are terrific house painters! They were easy and pleasant to work with and I am planning to have them back this spring to perform their "magic" on the outside of the house.

Steve and his crew did a great job in our new house. We had a tight schedule after closing and we wanted to have hardwood floor installed and multiple rooms painted before moving in. Steve coordinated the whole process, so we were able to move in at the time when we planned. During the two weeks they painted the walls, ceiling, trims, and doors in multiple rooms and performed hardwood floor installation and finishing in every room. Having done everything at one time was much easier and I am happy that Steve could do the hardwood floor job as well. He was very responsive to emails and text messages and always kept me updated about the process. He handled the whole project professionally and his crew did a great job! I would recommend him and his crew to anyone!

I made two calls to Steve about a week apart, described work to his answering service receptionist and never heard back. Steve must be very busy. I went with one of his competitors instead. Best of luck, Steve.

As usual, I was very happy with the results. So happy I've recommended them to a colleague who will be hiring them in 2017 to do work in her home too. I already have a few other jobs for them to handle in the future on the outside of the house. I trust their work so much I wish they did more work - like bathrooms because I know it would be done the way I want it done.

This is the 2nd time I used Quality Preferred Painting to paint one of my apartment turnovers. The last time there was some tricky work to do. The walls were naturally colored red brick that I wanted painted white. Steve knew exactly what to use and the process to make these walls beautiful. I was so impressed with the quality of work and overall service the 1st time that I decided to get in touch with Steve again to paint another apartment. This time I was under a tight time line as the new tenant was moving in on Sunday, so I only had a few days to get the work done. Although this is a very busy time of year for the company, Steve assured me that the apartment will get done for me before the tenant moves in. The Quality Preferred crew worked late in to Saturday night to make this happen. Steve met with me to look at the job and agreed to do it on an hourly basis with an estimated amount of hours. When the job was done Steve sent me pictures of the finish product and told me the job went well and it took less hours than he estimated so the cost would be less than originally projected. Since I live down the Cape and had no knowledge of the time spent on the work, this honesty was especially appreciated. The work was meticulous, as usual and Steve made what is usually a chore, a very pleasant experience. Will definitely be using Quality Preferred Painting again the next time a project comes up.
