Description of Work: They came out to my house. I had various things that need either work or replacement. The prices they quoted me were outrageous... I purchased a toilet seat, I think they wanted $40.00 just to install it. I needed a shower faucet replaced. They were exceptionally high in what they quoted - got it fixed for much less. I got all the work done for a lot less money than Papalia Plumbing & Heating Inc. quoted me. Their deal sounded good, but really wasn't a good deal!

Description of Work: Contractor came on site and gave me an estimate on following. - Two (2) outside faucets are leaking and need replacement. Replace it with frost free faucets. - I have a booster pump (with tank) in the basement. Motor gone bad. Please remove the pump & tank. Estimate was $1000. This is three times more than the market value. He said they are big company and do no do small jobs. Please refund my money.

Description of Work: I needed an outside faucet replaced or repaired but the cost was higher than I wanted to spend. The worker would need to get under the porch to do the repair and the cost was too high.

Description of Work: The company was very responsive and able to come the day I called (non-emergency situation) ...there was a snow storm so I was home from work and maybe they had cancellations! The young plumber was relatively on time and quite pleasant. He replaced the old mechanism from a toilet which seems to be working fine now. However, he gouged up a very expensive bathroom faucet handle and didn't blink when I mentioned it when I had to call the company to have him return as he left the repaired handle almost falling off. I would expect that that would have been checked before he left the house.

Description of Work: There was a water pressure problem with the shower head in the bathroom. The technician repaired and improved the water pressure. The shower valve had to be repaired. The technician was very knowledgable and wrote up a quotation on future plumbing services that need to be done. He was very helpful and made several suggestions and offered ideas on future plumbing work. He was very professional. The service completed would have cost me $308.00 except for the fact that I purchased a coupon for $99 . I would have him back to complete other needed work in the future, except that I find their prices to be high. I will have to compare prices with another service to decide.

Description of Work: We had the plumber out for 3 tasks, replace an outside faucet, replace a kitchen faucet, repair a basement utility sink faucet. Of these 3 tasks, only ONE has been trouble free: the outside faucet. The kitchen faucet has issues with the water temperature being overly sensitive to the location of the handle. The basement faucet no longer leaks, but it makes a terrible noise when the water is running.
