The Papalia crew came out in force for the large 5-day job. Despite the complexity of the job (new furnace and two heat-pumps), the work site was completely cleaned up at the end of each day and the disruption was minimal. Well organized operation and had nothing but good interactions with the entire team. Excellent communication and support with the main office.

We needed emergency service on a weekend when our basement sump pump stopped working. Tech was here within an hour. He was very friendly & knowledgeable and installed a new sump pump for us. There was an additional fee for the emergency service on a weekend, but this was expected.

This was a continuation of work that Papalia did before. The pipe from our house to the septic tank had to be replaced and part of the pipe was under the screened in porch. Nick from Papalia coordinated the work, got two excellent subcontractors in EmRay Excavating andn New England Pipe Restoration to replace part of the pipe and reline the rest. The work was done very professionally and at a high quality. Nick managed everything and was in constant contact with me. An excellent job all around.

As always the service and cost of service from Papalia was top notch. Our Technician Mike was a pleasure to work with as is the entire staff at Papalia. We had what I would call a minor issue with the Hot Water Tank and this was repaired without incident and to our complete satisfaction. I would strongly recommend Papalia to anyone looking for a responsive and trusted plumber.

We have used Papalis for all our HVAC, water filtration, and plumbing needs since we bought our home in 2012. Over multiple projects and regular maintenance they have been outstanding in products, value, and, most importantly, customer service!

Papalia replaced our furnace and air conditioner with a new heat pump. The estimate process was easy and prompt. The installation was done on exactly the date promised. A good-sized crew did the entire installation and removed all the old equipment in about 7 hours. They explained everything we would need to know, and they connected the thermostat to our wi-fi for remote controlling. Six months later they did the seasonal inspection. They didn't just change the filter and dust the equipment, they actually performed electronic diagnostics on the equipment. The system has worked flawlessly and we will continue to use Papalia for maintenance in the future. They also provided us enough documentation to get a state rebate on the heat pump purchase with no difficulty at all. We chose Papalia because one of our neighbors had a great experience with them, and we were not disappointed.

By FAR, the BEST service that we have ever had from any contractor… and, over the last 45 years, we have owned 6 homes in 5 different states! Our project manager, Roger, was/is OUTSTANDING! As was/is our Electrician, James. These gentlemen, and the rest of the crew, were professional, respectful of us and of our home, attentive, concerned that all of our questions were answered and that we were satisfied with every aspect of the job as it progressed. Roger is a stickler for doing things right and takes pride in his work which, clearly, is required from and is impressed upon his young crew. They understand his expectations that are conveyed in a strong but non threatening manner, leaving no room for misunderstanding. Roger brings the perfect combination of leadership qualities to his job. James, is knowledgeable, patient and professional well beyond his years. He is truly a young treasure who will likely achieve great success in his career… he “gets it”! Congratulations to Mr. Papalia for doing an outstanding job of creating a wonderful Corporate culture that has permeated through the ranks of his organization. Nick was a cool guy and really knew what he was doing. Worked very quickly and efficiently. Prompt service, they came right out the next day after I called. Quality work for a reasonable price.

Our plumber and his assistant were professional, highly knowledgeable, and highly skilled. They cleaned up afterwards, too. We are very happy with Papalia and look forward to their servicing our furnace and air conditioner in the future as well as attending to our future plumbing needs. A great find.

Excellent service, quick response, great guy! Affordable!

I had a water heater die on a Saturday a couple of week ago. I reached out to Anglies List and promptly received four replies, this was the first one. I understood that being the weekend there would be a premium charge to replace the water heater. I own multiple properties and have been a homeowner for more than 35 years. I have had water heaters swapped out a number of times and have a good idea of the cost. When the plumbers arrived they saw a very accessible heater vented directly into the chimney. The venting did not need to be replaced, all that was needed was to remove the old heater, hook up the new one, and remove the old one with the addition of putting it on blocks so it would not sit directly on the floor. They showed me the tablet with a price of $2,450 which I said was "crazy" and I wasn't interested in having them do the work. They asked how much I thought it would cost and I said $1,500 at the very high end. He said there was no way they could do it for that. I still had to pay the $150 weekend surcharge that I believe should have applied if I had hired them, not for coming out and giving me an estimate. Every contractor is entitled to earn a fair profit, but suggesting a price totally out of line with costs and overhead is absurd.

Papalia was great. Very quick turnaround time from when I called until when they could setup an appointment. The technician, DJ, arrived as scheduled and was very polite and nice. DJ did a great job. A bit pricier than I thought it would be, but it was worth it.

My water heater broke on Friday evening and left us with no hot water. I went online Friday evening and requested emergency help from Papalia Home Services. I got a call the next morning around 7:30 from Papalia. They could send their guys that morning and replace my heater. They arrived around 9:00 AM. Everything worked out great and I would definitely use their services again.

Excellent! The company replied quickly to my request. The technician came on time and the job was done on time as well. Both Crystal and the technician, Seamus, were friendly, professional, and articulate. Seamus even didn't mind doing an extra work my mother asked him to do. Such a helpful guy. This is an excellent company to hire, especially if you are worried about the COVID-19 spread. This company respects our concerns of it..

The two plumbers arrived early and got right to work and did a through job. I would say they are on the higher side of price range but you definitely get what you pay for, professional, thorough, friendly service done right the first time.

Everything went great and was seamless particularly in light of managing someone coming into my home during Covid.

The technician Branden Young came in time to check the issue, and identified the problem: damper went bad. He went to get one (only one mile from my house), and replaced it. All work was done within one hour and 15 minutes. He is capable and very professional.
