Description of Work: Great! My gas fired boiler was not working. Fortunately the weather was not really cold so they were able to come out the next day. The texhixian explained up front that there two likely causes for the trouble. He gave up front estimates for both, then inspected the boiler and explained which of the two potential issues was the problem. In this case the problem was less expensive of a repair than the other potential issue which would have cost $600.

Description of Work: They installed a humidifier on my furnace. They came in, they added it, we had an initial issue where the centers were put in a place that was too close to it and it wasn't working but they came back as soon as they could and fixed it.

Description of Work: Installed a new dishwasher and checked plumbing in all the bathrooms for leaks. Did a thorough excellent job. Waited for actual dishwasher delivery which was an hour late due to the truck breaking down en route to my home.

Description of Work: The last contact was an annual checkup of my plumbing. The man arrived promptly and went through the whole house, tightening one fixture that I had installed and hadn't gotten tight enough, and informed me that I would need new shut-off valves for the kitchen sink if I ever wanted to change the faucet, but it would be fine until then. I signed up for another year's service.

Description of Work: Replaced (broken) mixer value in shower, replaced leaking values in three faucets. Went smoothly and quickly; only complaint is cost; it's kinda hard to pay out that kinda money when the repairs go so seemingly quickly. But they know what they are doing, so they make it look way too easy. We've always been very happy with their work.

Description of Work: Our shower started leaking and turned into a torrent of water that could not be turned off. Our usual plumber could not get to us for several days and several others were backlogged as well. Papalia came out the next day. They were on time, quick and efficient. My only complaint would be that they are not cheap. But when you're in a bind like we were it's worth it.

Description of Work: Replaced one circulator and re-soldered a heat pipe. Jobs were well done. The circulator costs more than what on the web. This price includes a dispatch fee around $50.

Description of Work: Had an emergency water leak in the main in my basement. Only plumber I could find that would come out on a Friday night. Showed up bery. Late but in their defense the guy got caught on another emergency and they did not have their usual backup on. Dia a great job fixing the leak very quickly. Only complaint is they price by the job not by the hour. He was here about 1 hour, cost $485 plus the emergency call of $150

Description of Work: In addition to a minor plumbing job, I had requested an estimate to replace the hot water tank since it is gettting old. Papalia's plumber inspected the tank and said that it did not need to be replaced yet. Thanks for the professional opinion and putting the customer (and not sales) first!
