One of my heating zones was not working and I contacted Papalia services because of their high ratings and got an appointment after 4 days. Brad came on time and was able to quickly identify the issue is with one of the circulator and thought it is best to replace another circulator as it is not in a good shape and will give us a discount if we get both circulator done. Brad was able to complete the work and also took care of corroded hye vent in less the 2 hours since he came to our house. I found later online that the cost of the Taco 007e circulator to be less then 125$, I.e the total cost of parts was less then ~ 250$ and the cost of labor was more then 400$ per hour. I think the service was good, but the cost is astronomical and is not a fair cost. I was expecting about 200$ per hour to be a very good rate as they also carry parts in the truck but 400$ plus per hour is just too much. The work was done over the period of 3 hours methodically and successfully. The price might have been a little bit steep but I believe it was worth it.

It went very well!!! The cost below may seem high but they had to do a bunch of work in my basement to get access to the outdoor pipe.

Installed water tank and expansion tank. Very professional, showed up when expected.

Do not recommend them. Paid $79 call out fee to know they can’t fix it immediately and that too for a very expensive quote ($500+) than I got from anyone else for free. Not a tough job by any means. The leaky pipe is exposed and fully accessible with no restrictions.

Everyone at Papalia is professional, courteous and attentive, from the sales person, to the manager, plumber, scheduling person, etc. The sales person responded to my many emails and questions before I engaged them. The manager and sales person came a week before the work started to inspect the area and respond to any concerns I had. When the plumbers arrived to perform the work, they took care of all the requests I had asked for before. They were very organized and they cleaned after them everyday. Work was performed exactly as expected. I could not be more pleased with their service.

This place wants to charge almost $80.00 dollars for some one just to come by and see what needs to be done! Hey its not landing man on mars, its changing water heater that I presume you have done hundreds of times.

They did a fine job and were very professional. They were on time. However they charged me $400 and it only took him 10 minutes to do the job.

Our plumber (Corey?) arrived on time (maybe even early), did both jobs efficiently, and explained to us what he did, including the problems he encountered. On the water filter valve, he identified a separate potential problem with the well, and recommended we call our pump company. With the toilet, he pointed out the old toilet had been glued to the floor with silicon, and asked if he wanted to continue even though it might damage the tile to remove it. We said to go ahead. Three tiles cracked; he reduced the bill (taking off the initial visit charge) to compensate for the damage (even though it was unavoidable). He was friendly, polite, and professional.

Excellent! Incredibly flexible! I had to change appointments a couple of times and Papalia just rolled with it. They are very responsive and did a great job keeping me up to date on who the plumber was and when to expect him. It can be difficult finding good, reliable, responsive, polite, professional services, but Papalia doesn't disappoint. I'm going to have them back to do electrical work next.

My 83-year old Dad needed a plumber to fix a leaking pipe from a bathroom. My Dad had already turned the water off to stop the leaking from the bathroom and told the plumber exactly where the problem was. It took Papalia Plumbing 1 hour and a small amount of copper pipe to fix the leak; however, Papalia charged my Dad $770! My Dad regrets accepting this crazy expensive quote from Papalia and we'll never use this plumber again. Papalia took advantage of my 83-year old Dad who couldn't wait any longer to get this plumbing fix done!

Like clockwork. John arrived in the time window with a huge truck, which allowed him to diagnose and perform the repair in less than an hour. The cost for part and labor was quoted up front, so there are no surprises. Note that a dispatch fee does apply.

Corey P from Papalia was very professional and friendly. We had a lot of work that needed to be done after tenant left. Everything was done exactly as requested and in a timely manner. We would highly recommend them

The register was successfully reattached to the vent. They also confirmed that the drain pan was set up properly.

We had Pappalia do some plumbing work, including an inspection of our steam heating pipes prior to putting our home on the market. They were professional and the work done was more than satisfactory - we would have loved to have hired them to do some plumbing remodeling in our new condo, but we are now out of their service area.

Went well, longest wait was parts had to be ordered.

They didn't have the motor in stock, but were able to get it overnight and install it the next day.

Called to inquire about getting a new water heater put in my home. Scheduled time for a tech to come check it out and give me an estimate. Not until after I scheduled and got a confirmation, did I realize that I was going to be charged $90 for the estimate. I had plenty of people willing to come and check it out without charging me. They might be good, but charging almost $100 for an estimate, no thanks.

The tech replaced the handle.However the cost was much too high. I could have bought a new toilet for what I paid.I would have but It was a repair that couldn't wait.

Great! I had another company out prior to Papalia and they wanted to charge a lot of money to add an additional return. Another solution (the one Papalia provided) was changing the system settings which solved the noise issue and still cooled our house. The other piece was an emergency cut off that was as advised to be installed as our unit is on the 3rd floor and if the system leaked it could mean serious damage to the ceiling of our 2nd floor. I appreciated Branden being an honest professional and he was willing to explain things to me. I couldn’t get a breakdown of the cost from the other company which seems shady to me. As far as Papalia goes I was pleased with the service quality and price.
