Rare was great. Not only was their quote the most reasonable that we received but the service was excellent. They sent us a crew of 3 people: Larry, Nate, and Brandon, and they showed up on time, were very professional, efficient and took really good care of our stuff. They were also willing and able to hoist all our big items over the 2nd floor balcony. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone moving.

They were great! They were actually cheaper than their estimate, so I was really happy about that. They damaged nothing and were very careful with everything. They were very professional and friendly. I'd definitely recommend them and use them again!

They contacted me the same day and told me to contact them at their Boston site for an estimate. I told them I didn’t want an estimate from the Boston location due to additional mileage fees, but they were very nice about the whole situation.

Perfect...this is the second time I hired Rare Moving and naturally things went well the first time and it did this time as well. The guys are very friendly...polite and work well with each other. They arrived in uniform. So there was a couple of damaged pieces of furniture...and this is were I think the whole experience went from very good to GREAT. I called 2 days after the move when I had discovered the damage and I thought maybe I was going to out of luck...(because we did not spot it the day of the move) . I talked with Kamaul, I emailed him some photo's..no problem he said, they came and picked up the headboard and table. About a week later they where back as good as new...no way you could tell or see any damage ! No hassle they were great...I thought the price for the move was very fair..the guys moved a lot of stuff. They were with me all day..9AM till a little after 5PM. I would recommend to friends and family

They were good and hardworking. They were careful with our stuff. I had two people watching them but they were careful. Their price was same as everybody else. It was a very difficult work.

They were very good workers. They worked hard. They seem to take of the chair when they moved it. They claimed that it took them an hour and forty five minutes to get to our house, which did not actually happen. I was disappointed with that. They left us with one piece of furniture that we moved to our house by ourselves.

Every aspect of the service was excellent. Office staff got back to me promptly and were courteous and professional. The movers themselves were also ultra-courteous and professional. When the 3 guys assigned to the job were struggling to lift the refrigerator over the deck, Kamal promptly came himself with backup. Everything then went smoothly, with not a scratch to the new fridge.

I had a very good experience. The price ended up being more than the estimate, but they showed up on time, were very caring, and did a good job.

They were kind, courteous and thoughtful of all our possessions.

It was my pleasure. It was pricey but well worth it. Nothing unpacked was damaged.

We can't say enough wonderful things about the team from Rare Moving. The owner often answers the phone and gets to know all his prospective customers, reassuring them with knowledge and kindness. The packing team was friendly, helpful and encouraging to my elderly inlaws, even though they weren't completely ready for the move. They packed two trucks and moved it 180 miles south with nothing noticeably damaged. We can't say enough kind things about the team. Tevon, John ("Jay"), Kevin, Jerome and Paul - all of them were so nice to us and so nice to each other. They were a great team and actually looked like they were having fun with the challenges of too small doorways and tight corners. They were very professional, polite and willing to do whatever it took to get the job done properly. I did notice that they did not put paper or boards down on the carpeted hallways like I'd experienced with a premium mover a few years back. If it had been a rainy/wet day, that would have been a problem but since it was a sunny, dry day, it was a non-issue. But if you are looking for that extra clean service, you might want to inquire specifically. Our parents' move required an additional truck and many additional hours, but it was all made enjoyable by the helpful team from RARE. I would recommend them to all.

I called Rare Movers from all the good reviews for getting large, heavy objects in tight spaces. Final Mile Services tried to deliver my large new fridge twice but could not get it up with two different sets of movers/guys. In fear of getting it "sent back", I had them put it in my backyard with a tarp over it. Ugh. I had already ordered the custom cabinets and measured the fridge going up the stairs with a cut out -- it should have fit! Fearing need for a crane delivery, I called Rare Movers and they were excited to come out the next morning to see what their competition could not accomplish. They relished the opportunity to move it two days later, had it up in no time, effortlessly took of the doors of the fridge, and put them back on in record time. 2hr minimum with all deliveries was very reasonable at 110/hr and $50 travel fee. Much cheaper than the alternative! I will definitely be using them again.

They were absolutely excellent - on time professional, cared about their service and did a fantastic job. Came in under the estimate & very reasonably priced. Very fast too.

Kiaran visited 2 weeks before the move at our request to provide an onsite estimate and offer pointers as to the procedures to assist in providing for a smooth moving day. Rare Moving provides this free of charge. This began the process of calming our fears and doubts about our first move in 21 years. Larry and his team of Christian, Andre and Jay were everything we could have hoped for and more. They arrived early and performed the job with a continual pleasant and professional attitude. On a warm August day they moved heavy pieces of furniture up an down stairs without benefit of an elevator flawlessly. Everything was carefully wrapped as needed whether a nice furniture piece or a big screen television. They filled numerous garment boxes they provided and made moving very filled closets a smooth procedure. All the time while doing these tasks they were unfailingly good natured and responsive to our questions which were numerous given that our last move was 21 years ago. Larry and his team turned an insurmountable task into a completed job and a family of happy customers. And when the job was done the price actually came in under estimate. You simply can't go wrong using this company

I first contacted Rare movers on a Sunday and got someone right away on the phone. They were very responsive. The day of the move, they arrived on time, were polite and worked quickly. We experienced no problems and would definitely use rare movers again.

Went great. We were very impressed with how fast they were and they did a great job wrapping up all of the furniture so it wouldn't get damaged. Very professional and nice. There are probably slightly cheaper movers out there but I would definitely use them again.

Jerome and Christian were a pleasure to work with. They showed up on time and got to work immediately and pretty much never stopped until the truck was loaded. Both maintained a professional attitude even while moving some very heavy, awkward pieces down three flights of stairs. The end price was a bit more than I had anticipated but the quality was great.

Working with RARE was great. The on-site estimate was thorough and quick and very accurate! And significantly lower than Gentle Giant's. The owner and office staff were friendly and professional. The crew was fantastic. They came prepared to get it done and, with my Angie's List coupon, we even came in a bit under the estimate! Everything was wrapped and then reassembled at our new home. Minimal damage (none that I didn't expect from some flimsy items), and they got all the boxes/furniture in the correct place. They were a pleasure to work with and even made a long day fun. I would recommend RARE to anyone who asks!

It went well except they were very slow with everything they were doing which caused the cost I was quoted to be exceeded. I was impressed with one of the two people that moved me. It just took too long. I wasn't thrilled about that. They were good in not breaking anything and doing what I asked, though.

wIt went very well. They were on time, executed the move flawlessly and were very polite.

The initial setup was really easy. They came out an did an onsite estimate. I made the initial deposit later in the day. On the day of the move I realized that I had not received a confirmation email and called them up early in the morning. Turns out their office admin had made an error and neglected to schedule me in. The owner took ownership of the mistake and still managed to assemble a 4-man crew and they arrived out our place on time. These 4 guys worked tirelessly and were very professional throughout. Overall the move took about 7 hours and was executed without any issues whatsoever. The fact that the owner stepped in to fix their mistake speaks volumes of their drive to please and serve their customers.

We had a great experience with Rare!!! The were right on time and nothing but friendly and professional from start to finish. Our 5 year old was romping about and they were great with him! We are using them again to move our stuff from storage to our new home in September. We've already recommended them to our friends! No need to look further than these guys.

The guys from RARE were outstanding. They worked exceptionally hard without much of a break over the course of the 10 hour day. They were extremely friendly and courteous and were meticulous with they way they handled our belongings. The guys on the crew were all top notch - Wayne, John, Paul and Tavon. My mom, who was there assisting me, loved them too! I highly recommend using RARE and would do so again in a heartbeat.

Excellent company. This is because the employees involved in our move treated us professionally, took very good care of our possessions and worked smoothly as a team at both the loading of our goods and the unloading at our new home.

These guys were good. A crew of three. Were careful about wrapping things that might break, removing bulbs and shades from lamps, taking apart beds frames and putting them back together, etc. The day got off to a rough start when the driver backed the truck in and broke off a couple branches of our new tree. But everything else went smoothly. They coordinated a crane to lift my piano onto the 2nd floor deck and lifted it in. The whole job turned out to be more expensive than I expected -- about another $1000 over the $500 AL coupon I had purchased. But I had a lot of stuff to move they did a good job.
