Description of Work: I called them requesting a visit and quote for a whole house remodel. They scheduled the visit and showed up on time. They were friendly and conducted themselves well during the walk through, but then I never heard back from them. No email with a quote. I tried contacting them several times, but they didn't return phone calls or email. I guess they were busy and not interested in doing my job...

 + -1 moreI have used Narrow Way for almost 10 years, for myself and tenants who live in my 3-decker. This call was for my 2nd floor tenant. They were basically there to fix the things my general contractor had done wrong: connected the hot water to the new dishwasher (contractor had used cold), reinstalled the toilet properly (contractor had not secured bowl to floor), and they also removed a clog in the tub. Two hours of labor and parts for $200. I generally find their pricing to be fair, their workers knowledgeable and timely. When something isn't going smoothly, Matt has been available to come help them finish up.
Description of Work: Installed compression tee for dishwasher; connected dishwasher to hot water supply; removed drain clog w/ air ram; secured toilet bowl to floor and replaced wax seal.

Description of Work: Narrow Way Plumbing & Heating did work on a blocked drain pipe in my main bathroom. They used an aerator to unclog the pipe and fixed a minor flushing problem on two toilets as well.

 + -1 moreFirst visit- Fast scheduling and showed up promptly. Plumber uncommunicative and it seemed a long time, but it got done. Second visit- Different plumber, discourteous and wouldn't listen about the burner, he left and it went right out, had to return to fix as I'd suggested. Didn't use them again. 2005: Over a year later, another plumber found the 2nd flr toilet HAD NOT BEEN INSTALLED PROPERLY, missing a bolt, and no seal, and was responsible for extensive wall and ceiling leakage which we'd thought was a roof problem. Narroway did not return my 2 followup calls.
Description of Work: Two visits: 10/28/04 and 11/08/04 Removed 3rd flr & reinstalled on 2nd flr one toilet; installed new toilet (owner provided); removed single faucet and installed owner-provided one. $494. labor, $27.70. Changed thermocoupling on boiler and test. $145.
