My On-Demand doesn't work all the time and they came out and fixed it, but it still doesn't work. I had Verizon and I liked them a lot better, but I don't have that choice here.

They went above and beyond to help me. There was an issue with the previous installation. When they came out he took the time to re-rout the cable.

I don't have a choice but to use their service and they are just okay, and average. I might have had problems with them but definitely they are not cheap. I have had their service personals come and they were punctual and professional. As I don’t have a choice and it could be a lot worse than their service, so I would continue to use them.

The service is pretty good. Their prices is average and the quality of service is excellent. I haven't had any problems with them. If it does go out, they get it fixed right away, and give me a credit on my bill. I recommend them. They're professional, responsive and punctual.

They are awful. I use them because they are the only one in the area; I am stuck with them. The guy, who came out the last time, was excellent, but the regular service from the company is awful.

They are way overpriced and I don't like the services they offer. The customer service is pretty good but since there is no competition in my area they have me right over the barrel. I have no other choice and I'm trying to get away from them.

I spend too much. I think it is way too expensive for what I get. The phone service is reasonably priced. I used to have another service for $70 and Comcast offered it for $40. Everyone needs internet now and everybody thinks they need cable because there is no other option. They get you. I think the prices are outrageous and now they want to raise them again. I called them last night because I was having a problem and they remedied it on the phone; the fellow was very helpful. Whenever I have needed them to come out they give me a window like between 8-12 or between 12-4. Of course they come at 11:55 or 3:55. For what I get for the service and cost, it’s just expensive. I have to keep using them because I have no other choice.

The price they charge seems fair, and the customer service is quite good. We have had outages and had to give customer service a call. They seem to be professional and they treat us politely when we have to call for service.

I purchased a bundled expanded basic TV and high speed internet service from Comcast that was for a set price monthly for 12 months. In addition, I asked for and received the right to add on the Sports Entertainment Package (SEP) for an additional $7.95 a month. 3 months later, on THE DAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS, my access to the SEP was arbitrarily discontinued. I phoned Comcast and ultimately, the access to the SEP was returned. After Christmas, upon returning home on the eve of 12/27/2011, I realized the access to the SEP was discontinued again. A message had been left on my phone by a Comcast operator informing me that the SEP was NO LONGER ALLOWED with basic cable, but that I could upgrade my cable to the premium tier and then add the SEP on again. Of course, the premium tier would be an added expense. Any change from the basic with the high speed internet makes the bundle price null and void. I know because I asked at the time I placed my order about upgrading to the premium level. I could not add that on because there isn't a separate price for the premium level. I would need to pick another bundle, and all the options were much higher than the special I was ordering. What Comcast is doing is reneging on their bundle, hoping I'll bite on spending more. It's a fraudulent business practice. I'm elderly and my SSI is all I have to live on. I've already dropped my landline, which I prefer,and opted for a cheap cell phone I can't really figure out how to use to cut the cost of phone-TV-internet down. I'd rather give up TV than internet, but really wanted the Turner Classic Movies that is included in the Sports Entertainment Package. I don't even watch sports. So now I'm paying for expanded basic I don't watch. I think that any reputable company would honor what was agreed to at the time I placed the order for the entire 12 months.
Description of Work: A bundled expanded basic TV service and high speed internet service price was agreed to at a set price for 12 months with an addition of the Sports Entertainment Package (SEP) for an additional $7.95 per month. 3 months into the 12 months, Comcast NO LONGER ALLOWS the addition of the package to the basic bundle and cuts off access, even though the current bill with a billing date of 12/15/2011 due 1/7/2012 includes the extra $7.95 for the SEP.

They are fine. I also use another service provider and I have one of each. I have been with them for a long time. Their quality is very good most of the time. I have had some problems with my internet as far as running slow and losing the signal. They have been very good at doing things to help speed it up. The fact was that I had five people on the computers downloading things and it did not help. I was troubleshooting one and somebody was downloading movies and somebody else was chatting. I had three computers going myself. I challenged it.
Description of Work: I use Comcast for my internet, cable television and phone services. I contacted them on the 12th of December 2011 as my cable was out. They fixed it before they even had to come out to fix it.

The cable box that Comcast provided was busted from day one. I spent hours on the phone convincing them that it was no good until they finally agreed to replace it. They gave us a 4 hour window to deliver it, then never showed. After 7 calls and talking to 6 different supervisors, we finally got a functioning cable. box. Worst. Customer. Service. Ever.

The monthly rate is very costly. The service is poor. The tv is always tiling, the phone frequently drops calls, and the internet is very slow. We've had numerous technicians come out for service since we've got it. They always tell us to call them if we experince a problem, and when we do call they never answer. When we call Comcast outright, we always have to go through the direct department, which is a hassle. Some representatives take good notes when we call, and some take nearly no notes at all. I never have confidence that the problems will be fixed.
