From the sales to job completion, the personnel were amicable, very helpful and accommodating. The sales representative, Brian, is extremely professional and knowledgeable, answering all of our questions intelligently. I did not detect a BS aspect to his presentation. An estimate was delivered to us in a timely manner. We selected his estimate over several others (all had excellent reviews on Angie's List). because it was reasonable for an excellent product and promised many extras not provided by others that would result in a more complete installation. From the time of signing until the start of the job was several months because they had a backlog and we were already into the winter season. Once they started the job it took about 2 calendar weeks, during which the weather impeded progress. All materials were on site before the work began and the crew of three were on the job every day, weather permitting. The crew were fantastic, all the way from Mark, the field supervisor to Kim Su and his crew. They were always extremely pleasant and responsive to my questions and requests. Kim Su did much of the onsite management. while "performing his magic" with the aluminum he used for trim around the windows and doors . He did a magnificent job with our porch. Our house looks fantastic now. The O'Sullivan Installs team provides a complete installation, having paid attention to fine details from the provision of "boxes" around electrical outlets, faucets, etc., and enhanced window/door moldings to organizing the electrical and cable wires coming into the house. i highly recommend O'Sullivan Installs.

Paul, Tim and Mark all were excellent to work with, and the crew was awesome. They did a really great job with the siding to make it look really nice. When they removed my existing siding they discovered I had no plywood (just drywall!) underneath my old siding, and were very reasonable about replacing all of the plywood at a reasonable cost and I'm very happy with the solution they came up with. Any minor issues that arose were dealt with promptly, and I'm very pleased with the results.

Excellent communication and support every step of the way. A representative came to the house and showed us the various options, including actual samples of door sections to demonstrate different quality levels and finish choices. After we had made our decisions, there was continuous contact about additional order details and updates on the expected delivery. It was very easy to reach somebody at O'Sullivan either by phone or email, and if we had to leave a message it was answered in less than a day. When the door screens we chose turned out to be unavailable, O'Sullivan substituted more expensive screens and charged us the same price as the cheaper ones in the original estimate. The work took place over two days, and the installers were punctual, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. A company troubleshooter was here the following week to make sure everything was OK. We would definitely use O'Sullivan Installs again!

We could not have been happier with the job from begining to end. We had requested esitmates from mutilple companies and they all wanted us to buy the door and then they would come out and install. Not what we wanted. Called O'Sullivan Installs and made arrangements to have sales come to the house and go over all options. Process went smoothly from there. We did not have to worry if the door was measured correctly or not because if it wasn't they would correct it. We are very happy with both our selection of the door and O'Sullivan. The only problem we now have is the new door makes are other two exterior doors look bad.

Initially, before excepting the estimate for a front entrance door and 2 sidelights installation, we had to check out other options, even though the product as presented had the qualities we were looking for. After checking out other estimates, although not the cheapest or even the most modest estimate, O'Sullivan's was not the most expensive. Given the quality of the product and other compared products we chose O'Sullivan to perform the installations. Thankfully we made the right decision. The quality of the work was impressive. The craftsmen were attentive to every detail and we would definitely call upon O'Sullivan's services if needed again.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for a better company to deal with. Quote was very clear and accurate, installation smooth and quick, follow up was friendly and personable. Windows are great! We checked several other companies and the service and the products could not be beat!

We are really happy with the product and the service installing. Our house is older and it was a little tricky to get the door to look straight. There was a lot of effort put in to getting it as level as possible.

In Novemeber 2014 we decided to start looking for 5 or 6 new windows for our family room. I mentioned somehting to a friend at work that we were looking for windows and he referred to Tim O'Sullivan. Over the course of the last year we replaced 18 windows, two doors, stripped off all of our old vinyl siding and replaced it with LP Smartside siding. We did it in phases starting with the windows then the doors and finally the siding which we completed at the end of the summer 2015. I'm not sure where to begin. I guess it's best to let you know I am a pain in the a** and most contractors hate working at my house because I am over bearing, needy, and constantly on top of them. After doing multiple house projects in 2010 with alot of bad experiences I turned into a paranoid freak when it comes to contractors. With that being said you can be sure I interviewed and got quotes from more contractors then you can imagine before selecting O'sullivan Installs. On a side note Tim's pricing is very fair based on the qaulity of the work. I do beileve what you pay for is what you get. I can not say enough good things about Tim and his team. Tim (the owner) is extremely professional and personalable. Over the course of the three projects he probably came to my house 5-10 times. The project manager Mark was fantastic as well. Here is an example of how I knew they cared about the work. We had our windows installed in late Jan 2015. During the Siding project in July 2015 Mark noticed that the caulk on a few of the windows could use some touch up. The window project was over 6 months ago and without me even asking he took it upon himself to do touch up work to many of the windows they installed 6 months prior. From my experience most contractors do not operate that way. I can go on for ever about how cool these guys were and how great the work was but your probably bored by now so I will just tell you one last story. Becuase I am the biggest pain in the a** the new england rep LP Smartside visited my house to check in on the project. I asked him to do a walk through and point out any areas he would suggest having the contractor (Tim) touch up/fix before I made my final payment to them. He told me this was a text book install and could not find anything that needed to be addessed. I take my hat off to Tim and his team for the great work and the patience to put up with me. If you read this review and want more information just ask Tim to talk to the pain in the a** client in Needham and I can tell you more. Thanks again for everything!! PS: Forgot to tell you we spent 50K with Tim. Based on that I had the right to ramble in my review ;). Last thing don't be cheap pony up the extra $$ for the LP Smartside. We were very close to going with vinyl to save $$ glad we didn't.

Overall we are pleased with our residing job which took just over a week to complete. The crew were courteous, efficient and completed the work to a high standard. Given the large amount of wood siding that was ripped off, the clean up of the job site was pretty good too. After completion of the work one or 2 minor issues were resolved very quickly and to our satisfaction. Mark was particularly responsive in making sure we were happy with the end result. We would have no hesitation in recommending O'Sullivan Installs to our friends and neighbors.

The process for ordering the door, given that they are custom made, took about 10 weeks, which is fine. Tim and his team kept our family aware of the process and timeline updates. When it was installed, the crew was at our house at 7am. They were very professional, friendly, and really did high quality work. For example, because of the attention they paid to removing the existing wood trim, it was able to be re-used and you couldn't tell from the trim or the wall that it was ever removed. They also cleaned up after themselves well ... no dust, dirt or debris after they finished. Finally, Tim showed up onsite to check on progress mid way through. Great experience all around. Price is a B because it was an expensive door ... you can get new doors for much less ... but the fit and finish of this door is outstanding.

Had broken siding from the winter, Brian came looked at the house did his sales pitch. He was contacted by our insurance company to requote non-premium materials, he did that. Unfortunately, insurance isn't covering much and I did not move forward.

The crew was very efficient and careful. They did not hurry, but spent the time to be sure that the siding went on correctly. They were on time, worked a full day and paid careful attention to their work. The quality of their work was better than I have seen for many years. In addition, they were courteous and polite. After the job was finished, they did a good job of cleaning up the site. There is no question, that I would use them again.

Perfect. They did the job while I was at work, but I came home to a nicely and perfectly installed door. Not a speck of dust anywhere, everything was left immaculate. Will hire again.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the entire experience and I would recommend O'Sullivan Installs when looking to replace your doors. We first contacted O'Sullivan Installs in Oct 2014 and a representative came out to talk to us about replacing our 4 exterior doors (only one of which could actually be used to enter/exit the house). The representative answered all our questions and gave us all the information we needed to make a decision, including the website of the door manufacturer. I found this very helpful since we could do our own unbiased research. O'Sullivan Installs did a great job of communicating with us and accommodating our schedule based on the following: 1. Our install date was pushed back due to the horrible weather during the winter of 2014 and the blizzards of Feb 2015. O'Sullivan kept us up to date with new estimated dates. 2. Without much thought on my part, I decided (AFTER agreeing to replace all our doors) to remodel our kitchen (where one of the exterior doors is located). O'Sullivan happily re-scheduled our install date to accommodate the kitchen remodel and met with our contractor doing the kitchen remodel to discuss the specifics of how the exterior kitchen door would be installed. I would say that O'Sullivan Installs did a great job installing all the new doors in 2 days based on the following: 1. The house was built in 1863 and is a greek revival style with embedded pillars set outside on either side of the main entrance. They did a great job of removing the tops of the pillars and putting them back. Furthermore, inside, the trim on top of the main entrance door frame was brought down to match the height of the other interior door frames in the hallway. This showed an attention to detail. 2. The kitchen had a transom which was to be removed and then patched. They did a good job of replacing all the trim on the inside and not disturbing the interior walls. 3. The installer was professional, on time both days and listened and addressed all my concerns (which centered around preserving the architectural details of the house).

In the past five years we have dealt with a lot of water damage due to snow storms and ice dams. In fact we had to put in claims with our insurance company three of the five years. Trying to mitigate further damage we promptly had new windows and a new roof placed on gradually each year. Last winter we still had issues. It was apparent that the house was not properly wrapped and sided. Our house had very poor quality vinyl overlapping clapboard siding. There were so many access points into the house. That and we had no soffit that would provide air flow into the attic. That is where this project came in. Let me start out by saying that my wife and I received five quotes for this job. We saw quite the variance in pricing. There was an Angie?s deal that would have done the work for $15,000 and other quotes upward to $50,000. The Angie?s deal for $15,000 would have used the exact same vinyl siding as the siding used with Tim O?Sullivan and his crew. However, at the end of the day we decided to go with Tim O?Sullivan for the job ? at a cost of $26,000. This is the only reason I rated the company a ?B? on price. But, technically it is an A if you factor each attribute as a whole. However, on price alone, it is a tad higher than what you can get it at ? so in order to provide Angie?s members with a spectrum ? the price is a B. But totally worth it! Let me tell you why. I opted to pay a bit more because of the other factoring attributes: Quality, Responsiveness, Punctuality, and Professionalism. I met with three people during the process of the project, including Tim himself. The amount of professionalism among the crew is by far the best I have ever dealt with for any home project. Speaking with them I KNEW I was going to have a complete solid job done in a timely yet very professional manner. Just by talking to them I knew that the job was going to be of the highest quality. The first day of work was a tad bumpy, which started to get me worried. However, the responsiveness by Brian and Tim on the matter was top notch. They showed such integrity and owned up to a mistake, which they promptly remedied. This alone speaks more than words to how professional they are and the high standards in which they hold themselves. The crew was always punctual and did their best to keep a tight lot clear of debris. This was a rather large product for a small plot of land. Due to this it was understandable that a few things would come about that could be an issues. For example, a dumpster (supplied by a third party) banged up our vinyl fence. As aggravating as this is, Tim O?Sullivan knocked the price off a tad to cover that. As well as a garden vase that was accidentally knocked over and broken. They took care of it. Also, the worker who broke it fessed up to me in person and apologized. That alone shows that they hire very great workers to handle the jobs. Most people would have said nothing. Again?Professionalism. The crew worked day after day while we were on vacation. When we came home, the house was done! It was such a night and day comparison. I cannot be more thrilled about how everything turned out and the responsiveness and communication of the crew. Not only did they do a phenomenal job ? they will come back and tweak things as needed. They really stand behind their work. All of the above is what justifies the cost. Sure, you can pay $15,000 and save money on a job ? but you get what you pay for. The premium price ? comparatively ? is for peace of mind and superior workmanship and professionalism. The price is justified by the whole experience. One last tidbit?Of the five quotes, Tim O?Sullivan had the second cheapest. Keep that in mind. Superior work?on the lower spectrum of quotes. But if you are someone who is looking to ?just have it done ? at the cheapest? then maybe this is not the company for you. Use Tim O?Sullivan if you want a very pleasant experience with a large project with A+ workmanship and professionalism.

I wouldn't change a thing about O'Sullivan Installs. They are the MOST personable professionals I have ever worked up. The workman-ship was over-the-top great and I would recommend them to absolutely anyone; in fact I have and do recommend them to others and to you!

Tim and his crew were outstanding in every way. The job took about 1 1/2 weeks, including an unexpected April snowstorm in the middle of the job. They were on time and cleaned up after their work, which included filling three dumpsters. The 6 inch Alside Prodigy siding looks fantastic. It has more of a traditional clapboard look rather than a siding look. The Soft-Lite windows and the Provia steel front door were excellent choices. We had proposals from five other contractors and actually looked at some of their work. Several of them were good also, but Tim stood out. Our first contact was with George Williams, his sales rep, also very well informed on the product choices and how the work was to be done. I highly recommend them.

Considering the cost of the door, the craftsmanship was lacking.

Very professional business. They return phone calls, show up when they say they will, and do quality work. Also, they were the best price of all the quotes I got. Had one minor issue with a rip in the screen door and they game back to fix it the next day no questions asked.

The doors are excellent quality. The price was a bit higher than we first planned, but we're very glad we paid for the higher end doors and service, given the winter we just had. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. It took over 2 months to get the installation scheduled, a bit longer than we hoped, but they were very professional when they came, and did a great job.

We were very happy with Tim O'Sullivan and his crews. I didn't give a higher grade on price because I am not qualified, but price was only one consideration. We found Tim to be knowledgeable and responsible, and would not hesitate to use his services again. Tim and his staff are also attentive to following up after the job is finished.

I called O'Sullivans in October. I received a prompt call back and appointment to show me what I was getting on the install. A few days later, the owner Tim came over and measured all my windows and answered my questions. The windows were ordered and I was told they'd be in within 1 month. I didn't hear back from Osullivans until I called them in late November, and was told the windows were still not in. I then called again in December, and was told the windows were in, however, due to a high volume of customers, I would have to wait. I would not be around during the Christmas holiday, I'd have to wait until Jan. 5th to get them installed. It was a very cold and windy day when the guys came to install my windows. They did a great job. I'd recommend though, to take down ALL window hardware before they come. I left some stuff on the wood frame and the guys had to remove, but I was unable to put them back up as the fastners were bent. No biggie, but just a note. I noticed the difference almost immediately of the difference with my new windows. And today, I lost my heat, and my downstairs living area does not feel like Antarctica! Yes, it's still very cold, but with the new windows, the wind isn't coming in and whatever warmth that is still in my house isn't going out the window.

Tim was on vacation and called me back from his cruise. He even asked me to send him a picture and see if he could help at that moment. Unfortunately, I needed someone sooner than he was going to be back from the cruise, so I found another contractor. I was impressed that he answered his phone and was so willing to help while on vacation. I will gladly give him an opportunity to work on my home in the future.

We used O'Sullivan in 2013 and were very satisfied with their work. So we went to them again twice to replace the rest of old windows in my house. They are very structured for the whole process, which we like. Their crews which came to my house looked young but they did wonderful jobs (well trained) and worked diligently. The prices we got for 2 installments were very reasonable. Also they came right after they received windows from warehouses. Although we do not have anymore windows to replace for a while, we strongly recommend O'Sullivan for any size of job.
