Tim contacted me very promptly after I wrote him an email and came by that week in the evening to review my problem. He took time to listen to my issue and made some good recommendations. I decided to try a different approach than Tim's recommendation, but his responsiveness and professionalism were very much appreciated.

Tim did a great job and made the whole experience as painless as possible. He really know his stuff, is pleasant and professional and willing to go the extra mile.

When I called Jim, I only asked for an estimation on the entry door. He was listed only in door category. I already got a quote from another company. The price for windows was quite reasonable, but I thought they asked too much for the door. It also seemed like they do very well on windows but are not very experienced on doors. Jim returned my call the same day and dropped by the next day. He actually does windows as well, and sidings. He recommended another brand of replacement window and provided a nice quote for both windows and door. I felt comfortable talking with him and asking questions. He is experienced and technical. He explained all the steps in detail. The best thing is that he suggested me to search for third party evaluation on replacement windows and get better ideas on the brand and the products. He looks confident and knows well about the products and the procedures. After some research and comparison, we decided to go with Jim. He showed up with a sample window and gave us a lecture on vinyl replacement windows. Due to the holidays and the bad weather, there was some changes on schedule. But Jim always called in advance, explained the situation and listened to me. There was a nice Monday between two storms. Jim manged to squeeze the project in, but he and his helper had to work until late. They finished all the work, cleaned up and left at about 7 pm, while he told me usually they stops working at 3 pm. They removed the old door and windows, including storm windows, replaced one or two pieces of wood before installation. Jim worked professional and efficient. Almost no waste movement. He answered my concerns and suggested me to cut the bush more off the house to prevent moisture. They cleaned up everything afterward. It was dark when they finished up, but they did clean up everything outside. The windows are as good as Jim promised. We are very happy to have the new windows and new door before the following storms. The house looks neat with the PVC coating he recommended. We are planning to have him replace the second floor windows. When he heard we are going to remodel the bathroom, he introduced a guy he knows well, who also knows his own work very well and prices are reasonable.

The door was fixed the same day at no cost. Couldn't possibly ask for a better outcome. Thanks Tim!

He was really good. His cost were a lot more reasonable than other places. He was very punctual, he got here on time and he finished on time. He was very flexible as well which actually helped us a lot.

It was unbelievably good service. He was incredibly professional. He came to give me an estimate and wrote everything down. The price was very reasonable. He was really good about calling when he was nearby before stopping in, and I always knew exactly when he would show up.

I found Tim on Angie's List. He was incredibly professional and on top of things. If he said he'd call at 9, he'd call at exactly 9. I'm really happy with the way everything turned out. He had to order the shutters, which took longer to come in than he'd expected. He felt so badly about this that he built a metal frame around a basement window (something I asked if he could do) and didn't charge me for it. He also gave me the name of an exterior painter I used, who was also very good. When he first came to give me an estimate, I told him my doorbell wasn't working, and he fixed it right then, even though I hadn't committed to him doing any work for me, and didn't charge for that either. I may need a few windows replaced down the road, and I'll definitely call Tim if I do.

What seemed to be an easy remove and replace actually became a very difficult job; the old door had rotted and the house has "settled" so it was not exactly a one-to-one replace for the new door. There was a good deal of reframing the door that was necessary in order to install the new door. What was intended to be a two to three hours job actually took most of the day. Tim O'Sullivan worked very intently at installing the door correctly. He did a great job! By five o'clock the job was complete, the door was beautiful. The old door and discarded materials were removed and the inside was cleaned. He did not charge anything extra for the additional time he had to spend with the installation. I can recommend he work without any reservation.
