O'Sullivan Installs, Inc.

The O'Sullivan Installs organization is one like I've never encountered. They are organized as if they were a large, expensive contractor, but attentive and personal like a modest, family-owned company - the best of both worlds. Beginning with the sales process, they were very professional and informative. Upon signing a contract we began receiving communication and support from the office staff, and that open communication and customer service continued throughout the entire process. The labor crew was very skilled, and the foreman very knowledgeable. The owner (Tim) was present on the job site several times, and was very accessible by phone for questions or issues. He's a perfectionist, and saw to it that all details were attended to. Nothing was left as "good enough". I was thoroughly impressed with the integrity, professionalism and craftsmanship throughout the entire process. I would rehire O'Sullivan Installs and would recommend them highly.

Job went very well. Guys were prompt and friendly, door and framing came out very good, they cleaned up and gave us advise on some other little things we could do to help ensure the door and foundation maximize their life. I would use their services again.

Work was completed as described. New windows look great responsive throughout process and work was done quicker than anticipated which is always a nice surprise.

Excellent. Everyone at the Firm I dealt with was a pleasure to work with. What Brian the sales rep. said is exactly what they did. The office kept me informed weekly as to where my job stood in the work cue and what the progress was on other jobs. Once started, they stayed on the job until finished; no stop and go. The job supervisor Mark and his veteran crew went above and beyond my expectations. Any concerns I voiced were taken seriously by Mark and addressed to my satisfaction. The mobilization and demobilization at the start/finish of the job was like clockwork, with porto-john, roll-off and materials dropped and picked up in less than half a day. The products used were top grade. Installation was performed to maximize clean length runs, which uses more materials but results in a much nicer final appearance. Daily cleanup was as effective as could be asked for in winter. Punch list items were promptly resolved. Most important, there were no surprises. Communication was good from sales call to final inspection. Excellent value at a fair price delivered in accordance with schedule commitments.

This is the 3rd time I have used O'Sullivan Installs and all 3 times have been a great experience. At this point I don't even shop around if I need a door, windows or siding. If you are spending thousands of dollars on a project, saving a couple hundred dollars isn't worth piece of mind. If you want the project done and done right without the "contractor headaches" that you hear so much about, you should use O'Sullivan Installs.

The installers were right on time. Poor things working 5+ hours on literally coldest day of the year. They were professional, friendly and cleaned up everything! My new storm door held up to the first Nor'easter and was greatest choice to change opening of the door! No more swinging open with the winds. The basement door is nice and tight, no more drafts. They are definitely pricier than others, but I suppose to get what you pay for. Looking for siding next and I think I have found the place! Great job very pleased.

Project was originally scheduled for late Dec. There was an opening and project started late Nov. Finished in a week and on time, before snow and cold came. Planning and Crew was excellent, materials all high quality, installation perfect, cost was reasonable. Everything was very professional including communication and cleanup. Very pleased with whole project as house looks brand new. I highly recommend O'Sullivan Installs, you can not go wrong by hiring them.

Great. Tim came, established it didn't just need a tightened screw, ordered the part and delivered and installed it, at no charge. He's a great guy, very punctual, friendly and knowledgeable. The windows and doors he installed are in great shape. The sliding door took a lot of punishment before the small part broke, and that's a manufacturing issue.

Perfectly. They showed up on time, worked diligently, were personable and friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. The windows are great quality, and so is the installation. I will have O'Sullivan Installs back next year for more windows, the following year for a back door, and so on until the entire house is upgraded. These guys are keepers!

Brian arrived on time and took time to review in detail my specific property and the challenges of an old house. He spent almost 90 minutes with me and he was very knowledgeable about his product and could explain in detail some of the things I was not aware with cheaper products. If we were going to keep this house longer than 10 years I would probably make this choice. It appeared to be worth the money.

It went very well. I live in an old home where nothing seems to be quite square but the new door fits (seals) perfectly. I asked that they preserve the interior molding as we wouldn't be able to match it and they did. There was one piece of sill on the floor that I wasn't happy with, so we chatted about what I wanted and they replaced the wooden one with a metal one to match the door hardware. There was a follow-up call to make sure that it was all done well. I'm know that I could have gotten a door more cheaply, but I would not have gotten the quality of materials or the quality of install.

Mark from O'Sullivan Installs inspected and determined that nail from the original siding installation had punctured a drain pipe causing water damage. Within a week they came out and made repairs -- which restored everything to pristine condition -- at no charge! This demonstrates how they stand behind their work. Many contractors may have argued over responsibility or cost, but Tim O'Sullivan didn't quibble. He just did the right thing -- quickly.

They never returned my call. Few things irk me as much. I can understand them not wanting to take the job, but a phone call to communicate that can take all of about 30 seconds, and then would not result in an F grade on Angie's List.

The crew of two men did an excellent job; in just a few hours, the new windows were in! I didn't realize what an extensive job it was; they had to remove the wood trim from the window frames to insulate the interior, install the windows, and replace and caulk the molding; I'm amazed they did it all so quickly. Everything was cleaned up and the windows look great. The job went so well that I'm having them back to replace four more leaking old windows.

One door needed a good deal of extra work to replace rotted wood, a good bit more than was expected from initial estimate. Spent a good deal of time to get the frame secure and square. Also came up with a great solution to adding a hidden screen for the door that opens out. Doors were done in 2013, they've come back twice for some minor tweaking. Great to deal with, would recommend highly.

Mark, Tim , and the crew were punctual, professional, and completed the work ahead of schedule. There were a few minor things that needed to be taken care of after the job was done and Tim ensured it was taken care of in a timely fashion.

The job went very well and our house had some tricky parts to work with. O'Sullivans were the only company who had a clear plan from the outset. At the end of the job we were delighted with the finish and workmanship. Unfortunately our windows focused the sun on one small part of the siding this summer causing it to melt. O'Sullivans responded perfectly. They replaced the siding and screened the windows to stop it happening again. I cannot recommend this company enough, both in the quality of their work, and their professionalism.

I was impressed with the communication from the company. Brian came and did the estimate and was low pressure and informative. The company sent an email each week updating the progress of their jobs so I could predict when my job would start. Mark was excellent during the entire job. There was a surprise in that my house was not properly sheathed with wood, and Mark and the team solved the problem while minimizing any additional expense. I would say that this company stands buy it's estimates. The house looks great and I would strongly recommend O'Sullivan to my family and friends.

The overall process went very well. When we sat down to select the door and go over the entire process it was handled very well. The selection of materials and styles from the vendors they use were very extensive so we had so much choice. They were able to exactly match the color and style to another exterior door so we maintained continuity overall. The day of the replacement went perfectly. The team showed up on time and proceeded to start the job immediately. They were professional the entire time and just stayed to business during the procedure. They finished in the time stated and cleaned up after so that you wouldn't have known it was ever done.

My husband and I are both engineers, so we were meticulous about gather pricing from three different contractors before making a decision. From the first phone call with Paul, I was impressed by the knowledge and attention to detail. Brian came out to quote and walked around the entire house with us, discussing issues he saw versus issues we saw and how best to address. O'Sullivan uses the AMI Preservation Integra Insulated siding. We had looked at other companies with insulated siding (which we liked since we couldn't easily add insulation to our exterior walls), but we were impressed with the warranty on the AMI covering both materials and labor. I also liked that O'Sullivan planned on bringing a port-a-potty on site to eliminate the need for the crew to access the house. After we signed the contract, Mark came out to remeasure the house and order all of the materials. We were updated every Friday so that we could gauge how long it would be until our project was started. Once the demo/construction started, the crew came out (including Saturday's). They cleaned up everyday. They were polite to us and our inquisitive children. Every night, we reviewed the work that was complete and contacted Mark with any concerns. They were all addressed promptly; usually the next morning. The whole project took two weeks start to finish. We lost a few days due to rain. But, generally, the whole process went smoothly. And the end result is stunning.

Everything went according to plan. The site manager, Mark always kept us up to date and handled any issues we had (all were minor) immediately. The entire crew was professional and very hard working, many days until 7:00 pm. We are so happy with the final product and all of our neighbors comment on how beautiful the house looks! They will not be your lowest bid for your project but they are definitely worth it!

Brian came out to do the estimate in late October and we let him know on October 27th that we were going with O'Sullivan. We received the contract via email and scheduled someone to come out to take exact measurements the following week. We gave them a deposit check of 1/3. Brian had told us that since the doors would be custom made to our specs, they would probably arrive in early December and we'd be contacted for installation. It took some back and forth because they don't do much work in our area, but we finally arranged for the installation on December 20th. The installers were very nice and got the job completed within a few hours. We don't use the front door that often so we didn't realize until the weather warmed up in the spring that the storm door wasn't fitting properly, you could just push it and it would open, and the lock mechanism wasn't matching up with the door. Around the same time Paul reached out to make sure we were happy with everything so I told him about the problem we were having. They scheduled someone to come out and they made adjustments and fixed the problem. All and all it was a great experience with O'Sullivan and we're very happy with our new doors.

I knew shortly into the consultation with Brian that I would be choosing O’Sullivan. The amount of detail that he provided on the siding installation was impressive. It wasn’t the typical pushy sales pitch either. The overall quote was competitive and reasonable. I was kept in the loop, receiving emails on the status of their current and future projects. On install day, the crew arrived on time and worked diligently everyday in hot weather until early evening clean up. They finished on time, and the house looks beautiful. Mark oversaw the project and was readily available for questions. We’re happy with our siding choice and that we picked O’Sullivan Installs.
