Superb job done by Tim & his helper. Tim is very thorough and left no minor detail unfixed. He knows what he's doing and delivered what he said he would. Tim is super professional, has a great sense of humour, and is a nice honest guy. The deck and repair look great and they left the area tidied up after they were complete.

Excellent. Tim was absolutely top notch from start to finish. He was very patient and quite willing to explore many, many options as we tried to decide on the type of doors (style, materials, etc). For a contractor working during the day, I found him to be remarkably accessible via telephone and email (usually got back to me within 24 hr). Tim is very knowledgeable about the process and products, and goes the extra step to find answers to questions for which he is uncertain. In terms of the install process, Tim and crew worked carefully to preserve the casings and surrounding material. We are very pleasd with the finished project. Overall he (and his crew) are some of the most personable and professional contractors we have had work on our old home. I highly reccomend contacting him if you are looking to replace a door(s).

Tim called me back right away and came by to provide an estimate promptly. He was very knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions. We felt very satisfied with his estimate and told him we would like to proceed with the work. Tim ordered our custom wood door (we have an old house so standard door was not possible). We were incredibly pleased with his excellent work, attention to detail, excellent communication skills. We are 100% satisfied and would highly recommend O'Sullivan Installs. Tim also replaced siding on our house and repaired downspouts. He did an excellent job on this as well and came back to check the work.

I was given an extremely high offer. He said that he would be able to install the siding for me, and I have yet to hear from him. He said that he would be out today, and he would give me a call right back with a confirmation of the time. He told me that he had an entire day open.

Tim was amazing! Super professional, fixed the areas that needed fixing, and offered plenty of knowledge and advice....he even taught me how to upkeep the siding all by myself!! Won't hesitate to hire him or recommend him again. Great people, Great service!

The job went very well. It necessitated the special ordering of unusual sized fiberglass door. Tim kept us informed of the status of the special order and promptly scheduled the installation once it arrived (within a week). The installation by Tim and his helper went well. They did good quality work and we were pleased with final product. After work was done, they cleaned up and removed all materials. We would definitely use this company again and will likely have them installed a screen door next spring.

We accepted his bid but we are still waiting for the doors to come in so he has not done the work yet. The quote appeared to be very thorough and he actually spotted a few issues with the door frame and suggested ways to fix it. He seemed to have good products, he seems like he?ll do a thorough job, and he line itemed everything in the quote in case we decide not to do certain elements. He has been highly responsive.

He is the most honest guy I?ve ever met and he gave me a lot of time. I haven?t made up my mind about everything but he is great. He gave me an estimate with different variations of the job. I?ve received lower quotes but he just impressed me so much with his honesty and integrity. He brought products with him and he showed me the different varieties of siding.

Let me clarify first: I am a contractor skeptic. Lets say I've had some bad experiences in the past, which has cursed me to a life of do-it-yourselfing. I've built my own garage, a screened-in porch, and started my most aggressive project 3 years ago to install vynal siding on my house, all by myself. My plan was to do this one side a year for 4 years. Well, after completing two sides (ruining about 3 months of leasure time on each side), I decided to call in a professional...I called a couple of guys from the newspaper and got the typical "yeah, I'll be over this week and give you an estimate", and nobody shows up. I figure: I can continue this game until I find someone to rip me off, or I can join Angie's list...I went with angie's list, and I'm glad I did. I called 3 guys from Angie's list...the first two came over when they said they would, gave me a decent price. The third guy I called was Tim O'Sullivan, who had 25 reports, and an A rating. His approach differed from the other two: he didn't over-estimate the work...while the other two companies said 3 or 4 guys for 3 or 4 days, Tim told me he could have 2 guys do it in 2 days. Also, he thought he could start the job this same week. I booked him. 2 days later, Tim showed up with his 2 workers, he gave them the complete tour, remembered every little detail I told him. These guys were incredible! They worked on day 1 for 8 hours, on day 2 for 4 hours, and they were done! I was outside with them working in the yard for almost the whole first day. They worked efficiently, didn't rush, they were polite, cleaned up after themselves. I should have done this a LOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGGGG time ago! Tim came over the same day they had finished to study the job carefully, made sure everything was to my liking. I'd recommend these guys to anyone.

Tim came and estimated the job, taking measurements, sending me door catalogues. When we purchased the door, he came to install it right when he said he would. It was a completely professional job and the clean up was also thorough. There was a small problem with the locking mechanism and he came right back the next day to fix it. He is a delight to work with and I would recommend him to anyone.

They got the job done on the same day. They were prompt and did a great job. They left the premises nice and clean.

I really liked working with Tim. We had him out to give an estimate in August, committed to the work in early September, and scheduled the work about six weeks later. It took them an extra day to do the work than planned, but they did a nice job. The job entailed replacing a cellar door that was oddly-sized and in a fieldstone wall, and they tackled it nicely (including additional insulation that wasn't part of the quote). They replaced our front and back doors with fiberglass, and TIm provided quotes with several different options so we could make our best decisions. He also was creative in how he went about replacing a window in our stairwell. We had a cracked window pane, and he took it out one day to have it fixed elsewhere and returned it the next day (no charge for this repair!). Two minor things - one is that he's really busy and doesn't deliver the quickest or most detailed email replies. The other was the trimwork in our shower window - the caulking wasn't designed for wet areas, and so it never cured properly. I replaced the trim myself afterward (but, honestly, he'd said that he'd come out and fix anything I asked him to do that wasn't right, so I don't hold this against him). ). They came back to do some follow-up work after some cosmetic issues arose over the winter, and they came back quickly, and at no additional charge.

They were very responsive and explained everything they would be doing in detail. They were upfront about their costs and were efficient and professional.

Great company, great work. Tim handled everything himself. Work was done on time, very high quality. I let him pick out the front storm door, and it was better choice than I would have made. There was a small problem with the lockset, a product defect, nothing to do with Tim. Despite the fact it wasn't his issue, Tim went back to the store twice to get this taken care of. Above and beyond what was required.

Exceptionally professional and very very nice. A standout contractor! The framing added to support the door and the door itself are of very high quality. Tim helped me pick out the proper color. I was concerned about this since it is a new house and we wanted the perfect complement. I was more worried about quality since we have a very large dog we do not want to have escape out of a poorly constructed door of cheap construction. Tim selected the absolutely best door and did an incredible job in a most professional manner. Oh, and he is very very nice to boot...he took the time necessary to understand the job and get it right! *****!

Called Tim and received a return call promptly. He came out the next day to look at the work, gave some options and priced these the next day. Once we placed our order he ordered doors, took additional measurements. Then once doors were done he picked them up and installed them. All very timely. He was great about returning calls, explaining the work, giving options. He even took a call when on vacation (not expected, but certainly appreciated).

Tim O'Sullivan is truely amazing with his professionalism, craftmanship, and knows his stuff. You can't go wrong using his services. I referred him to my Brother-In Law to install a storm door, and my Brother-In Law referred his next door neighboor and everyone is happy with his work. A next door neighboor of mine is very interested to have Tim O'Sullivan quote them on a storm door.

My next door neighbor recommended someone he used for putting up doors, decks and fences as well as other jobs around his home. I saw that person's work and opted to call him to put 3 exterior doors on my home. Together we went and pick out the doors and ordered them from Home Depot. When they arrived 4 weeks later I called him and he said to go ahead and have them delivered. I set up delivery for a week later. Two days before they were scheduled to be delivered I called C and asked if he would be available to come and make sure that all the materials needed for installation came with the doors. He couldn't make it on that day so I rescheduled. I ended up rescheduling again after this because his schedule. They were finally delivered and when I called him he said he would be over that day to check that everything was in order. The doors were sitting out in my yard. He never came. A week went by and still no C. Now I was getting anxious so I went to Angie's List and chose 3 companies who installed doors to call. I called all 3 and only one returned my call -- O'Sullivan Installs. I explained that I had 3 doors sitting in my yard waiting to be installed and would like to have them installed ASAP. Tim, said he would go by to look at the doors that day. He followed through on that and with everything else he said he would do including giving me an estimate the following day. I still hadn't heard from any of the other door installers. Because he was the only one who returned my calls and promptly gave me an estimate I went with him (and boy am I glad I did!). I also had 3 doors sitting out in the elements in my yard and felt pressured to get them in place. The estimate Tim gave wasn't significantly different from what C had said he would charge for placing all 3 doors so I went with it. Well with old homes, repairs, I have found, frequently do not go as planned and that was the case with these door. A job that Tim had estimated would take 2 days tooks 4 days and a few hours on a 5th day. But even with the unforseen complications Tim was Awesome (!) and so was the final outcome. He was always professional (even if he was frustrated with what came up he didn't show it), responsive, punctual and clear on what he needed to do and why. He could also explain the "whys" to me and I never felt in the dark. He has the personality to work with people and it was just an all around great experience. He knows his job and I had total confidence in his ability to do good work. I love my doors and it was a terrific experience with Tim and his helper Joe. No matter the problems that came up, they just handled them and explained what needed to be done and why to me so that I understood. Because of their professionalism and follow through I trusted what needed to get done would get done. Bravo Tim! I never did hear from those other 2 door installation companies and C got in touch after the job was finished.

Fantastic contractor. One of the best I?ve ever worked with. Excellent communication. Worked performed on schedule. High quality. Courteous. And they even clean-up after themselves. Excellent prices. Will definitely work with them again. Highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough about this company and how professional and courteous they were. Tim was SO very helpful in explaining all the work that needed to be done, and he proposed the most cost effective plan to get everything done that we needed. It was such a pleasure to have someone so knowledgeable doing this job. We have had bad experiences in the past with contractors and it was SO nice to have someone so competent to perform the extensive work that needed to be done. The work ended up being much more involved because our house is so old, but he stuck to the original contract price! I will absolutely use this company in the future for any service that they offer. Needless to say, I was very happy and more than satisfied with this company!

Great. The previous opening where irregular in size so finding matching doors was difficult but Tim gave me tons of great options. The work was done as promised and the doors look amazing!! Tim and his crew were great to work with. Very easy to talk to. They also did a great job cleaning up after the work. I would highly recommend Tim and his crew.

I contacted Tim after finding his name on Angie's List. He responded very quickly by email and came to our house for an estimate within the same week. Because of the non-standard size of our door, he was able to order the door for us, to our specifications, and installed it for us soon after it was available. He was EXTREMELY helpful, offering numerous suggestion, options, etc etc. He was very pleasant and professional. All around, a pleasure to work with - no complaints or concerns at all. We are very happy with the end results!
